My Favorite Things Final Sketch Challenge #705

 

As they say:  "All good things must come to an end".  I have been playing along with the MFT sketch challenge from about #165.... A Long Time.   The MFT team announced that this will be the final sketch challenge, and of course, I had to play along.

My card features the retired MFT Adorable Adventures designed by Birdie Brown.  The images were stamped, die cut and colored with alcohol markers then sponged with Danube Blue Memento ink.  The circle dies were adhered to paper from the MFT Happy Trails paper pad.  A coordinating MFT Birthday sentiment and enamel dots finish the card.

My card was also inspired by one of the new challenges on the MFT blog - Card Cue.

I'm joining the current MFT sketch featuring the adorable Woof Pack stamp set.  The image was colored with Tombow Markers on water color paper.  Memory Box designer papers are from my scrap pile.

The dog house die, bone and bowl are retired MFT.  I remembered the string of lights were in an old Taylored Expressions beach die set.  They worked perfectly!

I'm joining the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things with their Celebrate Everything Card Kit.  I love this kit and have enjoyed using it.  Birthday cards seem to be what I make the most.

I've used the balloon die and pattern papers from the kit.  The birthday sentiment also came in the card kit.

I'm playing along with this week's sketch challenge.  My card features the adorable MFT Birdie Brown Sittin' Pretty and PI - All Occasion Sentiments sets.

My card started with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  The door image was layered onto a mixed media tag that I received with an order.  A coordinating sentiment from the PI set finishes the card.

This set is perfect for little boy birthdays.  I'm sad to see that it is retired.  I've had a lot of fun with it!

I got a chance to spend quality time catching up with my sister this weekend by phone.  We live over 2000 miles apart with a 3-hour time difference so it can be difficult to catch one another.  Yes, we text often, but talking by phone is the next-best-thing to seeing her in person.  I guess that's why this sweet PI set came to mind today!

 

I'm joining the color and sketch challenge at My Favorite Things with a retired PI - A Phone Call Away.  The image was colored with Copic Markers then die cut with a Wonky Stitched die.

Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone gets to enjoy a little crafty time this weekend.  

I {LOVE} a good sketch challenge!  The team at MFT always provides a fun and challenging sketch.  I pulled out a favorite MFT set designed by Birdie Brown (Torico) called Friends at First Sip for this week's sketch.  

The sweet images were stamped onto watercolor paper and colored then blended with Tombow markers.  They were layered onto papers from MFT Creepy Confections paper pad.  The birthday sentiment is from a retired MFT set - PI All Occasion Sentiments.  A few enamel dots from my stash finish the card.

This will be going to my coffee-loving niece next month for her 11th birthday!

My card features the new Farm-tastic Friends set and Barn Sweet Barn die-namics from MFT.  I love the smaller barn die!  I have their original barn die which is much larger.  I'm so glad that MFT released a smaller barn with this sweet set.

Of course, the images were colored with alcohol markers then die cut.  Coordinating designer papers are from Doodlebug Down on the Farm paper pad.

I'm sharing a mini slimline design for this week's MFT sketch and color challenges.  My card features the adorable Lucky Dog set and retired Farm Fence Die-namic.

The dog was die cut and colored with Tombow Markers.  The fence die was cut from Cement Gray card stock and layered onto designer papers from MFT Positively Peppy paper pad.

I finished with a ball from the same set and coordinating birthday sentiment.  The finished card size is 6 x 3.5.
