GKD Challenge Team Thank You Hop

Here is a card I made for Carla:

I followed her color challenge of using Black, Ivory and one other color (STVCOLORCS9), which for me was red!  For this card, I used Gifts from the Sea, Lovely Labels and the fabulous crackle stamp from Bold Flowers.

Here is the card I made for Linda:

I followed her Heat Embossing Challenge in (STVBLASTLP5).  For my card, I used Grand Damask and Fanicful Tags (and the worded background is from Vintage Backgrounds, obviously personal favorite of mine!).  I embossed the damask image using Versamark and a spectrum ink pad. 

And here is Giovana's card:

I used Giovana's pink Christmas card challenge Embossing with shades of Pink (STVXMASGS7).  I think I found the design for some Christmas cards this year, lol!  I used the snowflake from Blessed is the Season and the sentiment from Holiday Greetings with Lovely Labels 2.

STV Sketch Challenge

I wanted to share a sketch card I made for the sketch challenge I am hosting over on Stamp TV. This was such a fun card to create and super easy... I used some scraps of Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday patterned paper that I punched with my scallop square SU punch. Then just paper pieced the cup from My Cuppa' Joe. So very quick and easy!

I finally broke down and order the StampTV Kit... Once the special was posted and I won the gift certificate from Center Stage, it pushed me right over the edge and I HAD to have it. ;o) So much for self-control!  The kit has two stamp sets and I used the set Bold Flowers for this card. It reminds me of the retired stamp set Love Without End, just better! For this card, I used the stamp kissing technique and the crackle background is perfect!

I may be hit and miss for a few days. My dad was admitted to the hospital with chest pains over the weekend and they are waiting to do a catherization hopefully today sometime. The Lord is in control and we trust Him completely... nothing is outside His sovereign will, and we rest in that.   Have a great day!

Plaid Lion

I created this card for the sketch challenge on StampTV last week. I loved all of the blocking off on the sketch and used some scrap plaid paper I had in my bin. This card features Asela's stamp set Zoo Animals. I stamped several lion images (which were colored with Copics) and layered him to be 3 dimensional. If I get a chance today between errands and my son's early season Little League game I may be back to share another card I have been working on...but you know how that goes. :o) Sometimes the best laid out plans go awry!

I'm So Excited!

I have such exciting news to share.... I was picked as one of ten to be Center Stage on Gina K's StampTV for April. I am so excited that one of my cards was selected... the others are just gorgeous and the ladies are so uber (yes, it is a word *~*) talented! It is an honor to be amongst them that is for sure!
