A sad goodbye and a happy hello....

There is a time to say goodbye and a time to say hello.....

and today we are doing both here at StampARTic!

Two of our fabulous DT members are stepping down, and we are so sad to see them leave,

but we fully understand... 

Life keep getting in the way, and of course life should come first... 

Aija and Donna 

is leaving us, and we will miss them both dearly!

They have been such a valuable asset to us, here at StampARTic! 

Thank you for all the great work you have put in here at our online magazine! 

Love you and miss you already girls, but we will stay in touch!

New Years Resolution

Happy New Year to all of our readers!

We are so happy to open the door to another creative year here
at StampARTic.

Now, what better way to start the year then to make

New Years Resolutions??

We all make them, and we don't keep most of them.....lol...

but we decided to make our own Card Making New Years Resolutions,
or other New Years Resolutions....

and a nice container to keep them in,

and hopefully we will actually keep them this time...

Jag har gjort en "nyårslöfte-tombola".

En tunn fylld med nyårslöften, i form av lotter!

Jag tycker att nyårslöften är lite som ett lotteri :)

I have made a "New Year's resolution-raffle". 

A thin filled with New Year´s promises, in form of lottery tickets!

I think New Year's resolutions is a bit like a lottery :)

My New Year resolution is to send more cards to my friends and family, 
not only for special occasions, but as I nice surprise when they least expect it. 
To make it easier for myself, I have together with my resolution 
put names and addresses to my friends in my box.

I wrote down my New Year Resolutions and they made a long list ( have to aim high :) ...) 
I made a roll of the list and put it in a "book-box":

My resolutions are 

-to spend more time crafting than web-surfing

-not to shop more papers than I have time to use

-to clean up my desk between each project

-to at lest TRY to control my stamp addiction

  and think twice before I buy another one

-to keep on having as much fun as last year with my card-making

I made a chest to keep my resolutions in.
It´s an origami folded box from start but looks quite different now.

My resolutions are..
Well I never have any luck with resolutions but I always try. ;)

-Shop less and use the material that I got.
-Craft more instead of sitting in front of the computer
-Craft in good time before deadlines.
-Create and have fun.
-Have less pressure on myself.

Jorunn:

I have made my New Year Card Making Resolution on a tag, 

and I am keeping it in the pocket card I made to go with it...

And my resolution is quite simple;

To remember to have fun with my scrapping hobby!

News, DT call, announcements and Christmas break!

Julen er like rundt hjørnet og her i StampARTic gjør begge teamene

seg klare til juleferie.

Vi stenger dørene nå frem til 3. januar, samler litt krefter

og steller i stand jul i hjemmene våre.

Men før vi tar juleferie så har vi mye å dele med dere:

Christmas is just around the corner, and we in StampARTic both the teams are taking

a break during the Holiday.

We close today and open again on January 3rd.

We will gather some strength and make hour home ready for Christmas.

Carola har valgt å forlate oss, som dere husker! Carola har gjort en kjempejobb for StampARTic,
og vi kommer til å savne henne mye i StampARTic.
Ikke bare hennes nydelige kort, men også hennes varme personlighet og omsorg!
Men Carola, vi er venner for alltid, og vi kommer til å holde kontakten videre!

As you know, Carola has made a decision to step down.

She has done a great job for StampARTic, and we will miss her so much!

Not only the gorgeous cards she makes, but her warm and caring personality!

Happy Birthday StampARTic! 
Det er 1. Desember og i dag er det 2 år siden vi offisielt åpnet dørene til 

StampARTic!

For noen fantastiske 2 år vi har hatt.... mye jobb men mest morro!

Vi skal feire i mange dager i år også, som vi gjorde i fjor,
hver designer har sin egen dag, der de har fått helt frie tøyler.
Her blir det noe for enhver smak!

I dag på selveste bursdagen vår, er det jeg, Jorunn, som har ordet,
og jeg har valgt å bruke min dag til en utfordring,
slik vi alltid har den 1. i hver måned.

It is December 1st, and today it is 2 years ago since we opened

the doors to StampARTic. 

What a fabulous 2 years we have had.... a lot of work, but mostly fun! 

We are celebrating for many days, just like we did last year.

Every designer get to have a day of fun each,

and I promise you there will be great days to come!!! 

Today, on our actual birthday, it is me, Jorunn, that is

having my day of fun. 

and since it is the 1st of the month, I decided to go for a challenge

like we do every 1st of the month.
