MIDWAY MASKING REMINDER

Good Morning All

Hope you are having a good weekend ... I popped out to a local craft shop yesterday who had their members day on where you get 30% off!!! Yay!!! Met up with Wendy Woo and had a cuppa too ... Fab :)

Oh .. and you might have noticed my new blog background .... was gonna wait until 1st December to put it on but really couldn't wait ... I'm in the Christmas spirit already lol ... decorations go up next week and I'm nearly finished Christmas shopping .. how great is that!!!

Anyway .... just thought I'd pop by and remind you that you still have a week to enter the challenge over at TOTALLY TILDA where the theme this time is:

MASKING

Here's another card to show you ... plenty more to be seen so pop on over and check out my teamies for their fab creations :)

Thought I'd keep the card nice and clean and simple so I could highlight the masking.  I've masked together two Tildas and a Magnolia presents stamp and coloured with Copics, keeping the colours to just reds/greys (apart from flesh/hair) and mounted up on red card.  The sentiment is from a Christmas stamp set I've had for years and I punched it out with the Stampin Up Decorative Label punch and then finished off with Bakers Twine and Gems.

MR FIX IT!!

Afternoon All

Been a busy bee today ... I've cleared out my understairs cupboard ... I've never seen so much rubbish and how many coats can one family own!!!! LOL ... but it's looking lovely now :)

Then I made two cards for my brother's birthday this weekend .. one from Mike & Me and the other from the kids - here is the first one ... I'll be back with the other one tomorrow :)

As soon as I saw this Mo Manning image MR FIX IT .. I knew it was perfect for my brother's birthday as he loves a bit of DIY.. I've coloured him with Copics.  The DP is Fancy Pants and I thought the stripey bit looked a bit like wallpaper LOL, the sentiment is one of mine and was a freebie a while back at SENTIMENTS 4 YOU and the "drill" charm is from my friend Sharon's shop EWE 2 CAN CRAFT

A NEW JOB

Another Teddy Bo card ... can you guess that I am slightly obsessed with gorgeous little furry beauties LOL

They cover so many different occasions for both men and women

My brother has got himself a new job so I thought this image was perfect for a card

I've coloured him with Copics, used my favourite Martha Stewart button punch and added some BAKERS TWINE to the middle and finished off with one of my sentiments which is part of a set of 6 LINE SENTIMENTS - EVERYDAY 2

IT'S HALLOWEEN TIME AT TOTALLY TILDA

Good Morning All

I'm very excited this morning ... as you all know I was very proud to be part of the TOTALLY TILDA Design Team but stepped down a short while ago due to personal circumstances (believe me not through choice LOL) ... Well I am sponsoring the challenge this time around from my shop CRAFTS 4 YOU and I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer too - thank you so much ladies :) .... boy have I missed my Tildas!!!!!

Here's my card ....

I had so much fun making this card ... I've coloured with copics, cut her out and mounted her on foam pads, the DPs are from an Authentique Halloween collection, I've used the top left hand corner of a 12x12 sheet and added black stickles for extra effect on the spider's web, BAKERS TWINE from my shop and the sentiment is one of mine from a new HALLOWEEN COLLECTIONthat fit the Stampin Up oval punch perfectly :)

Thanks again ladies for having me this time around .. I've loved it!!!

MUSIC TO MY EARS

Good Afternoon All :)

Another lovely day in Essex but a bit blustery ... still perfect weather for crafting (any weather is perfect for crafting LOL)

On Saturday we are going to our friend's son's 18th birthday party ... I can remember the day he was born LOL .... makes me feel very old ... so I thought I'd show you the card I've made for him

I've used a fab image from the digi downloads MIKEY COLLECTION at Charmed Cards and Crafts .. these images are so good for teenage boy cards ... and I've coloured him with copics / mounted him on nesties, the papers are from Nitwits ON A HIGH NOTE, the sentiment I've made to fit the occasion and die cut with nesties, and finished off with BAKERS TWINE, MUSICAL CHARM and CARD CANDY

This time it's not Christmas though .... It's my nephew's birthday tomorrow and I only remembered today Oops!!!

I love this Wild Rose stamp ... so good for men's cards :)

I've coloured him with Promarkers for a change and matted and layered with some old K & Co papers I found which fit the colours perfectly :) The sentiment is one of mine from a set of clear stamps MINI MUST HAVES - EVERYDAY and some "buttons" with my favourite Martha Stewart punch tied with BAKERS TWINE

IT'S CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST!!!!

Good Morning All!!!

Well .. I'm back in the land of the living after having a week's holiday ... didn't go anywhere just had a nice relaxing week off with hubby .... luverly!!!!

Have spent the last few days "catching up" with my website and am now up to date ... I think .. until the next new things come in LOL!!

This little cutie was a freebie sometime ago from PINK GEM and is called Ice Skating Hoot, the DP is a new obsession of mine NITWITS!!!! If you have never heard of them they are well worth a look - they have the most gorgeous range of papers, toppers and all things digital ... absolutely gorgeous!!! this set is called SNOW BIRDS.  I have coloured with copics and added a snowflake centred with another favourite of mine ... my Martha Stewart button punch finished off with Bakers Twine - which is available at CRAFTS 4 YOU

Just thought I'd stop by and show you a card I made for a class I taught a week or so ago "Here Comes Summer"

These bathing belles are from an unmounted stamp set by Creative Expressions "Beach Gals" and are available at my shop CRAFTS 4 YOU and they are in the sale!! and I've coloured them with promarkers .. the beach sign and sentiment are all part of the same set :) DP's are by CRAFT CREATIONS

I've attached the sentiment by threading BAKERS TWINE through the circle and then wrapping it around the papers :)

Hope you like it ... I think my ladies had fun making it!!
