It's Tub Time for Froggy!!

As I was chatting with my favorite cousin Andrea (hi) the other night about Melanie's set Just so Hoppy, my sister's baby shower invitations & her gift registry, we stumbled upon this hooded towel & wash set & I got the idea for this card! The tub, bubbles & little fish in the corner are by C.C. Designs that I got from All That Scraps. I love the towel (ribbon from Leigh I won in a blog candy) that totally matched my DCWV adhesive sack I used for the rug (it is the A*Muse small oval). The towel 'holder' is 2 silver brads with natural hemp glued to the back. I drew the wood floor & colored with prismas & oms. This was the card that kicked off creative stamping weekend that just passed.

I Pick You Penguin

Little Penguins by C.C. Designs is the CUTEST, isn't it?? I was so pleased to see the small oval from My Favorite Things set Icing on the Cake fit right under the penguin for a perfect shadow! I used a 4.25" square notecard by A*Muse that matched wonderfully with SU!'s retired Loves Me Designer Paper (polka dots) from last year's Spring mini. I had to pair the sentiment 'I Pick You' from the Things Hanna Would Say set by Hanna Stamps since the penguin is presenting a handpicked bouquet of flowers! It's amazing how you can pair up elements from all sorts of sets to make them work, huh? It's a lot of fun for me.

I had to play with the color challenge today 'Taken with Real Celery'. Taken with Teal, Real Red & Certainly Celery. Interesting colors I'd never put together but they work! I had to use my Little Penguins

Happy New Year

Well, just not feeling well still - I have so many things I need/want to do but my head hurts a lot (sinus) and I just need to lay down. But, I did find this cute card I made a few weeks ago when I got my new Little Penguins set by C.C. Designs and I believe this was Jen's SFYTT (but I don't have the energy to link it, sorry). I'm all bummed because I learned how to make a cool watermark from Stampin' Kub and it worked on Sat before I left for out of town & now it's not and I'm unsure why. So I will just do my watermarks manually. Oh well. ((EDITED TO ADD - Kurtis helped me figure out what I was doing wrong - so here is my new & improved photo with my new watermark! )) yea, me!!

On a great sidenote - I got a new laptop and it's so nice & fast! catching up on my blog reading!!

I don't have anything of my own to share today so I will show you the Thank You card I got from Charmaine at Oodabugalley Isn't it the CUTEST? She made me buy this stamp set (she's an enabler along with Lauren) I have to admit when I saw this card, I was really hoping I would get one and I did! I knew that I wanted to get this stamp too, so when All That Scraps released their new C.C. Designs stamps, I made sure I got it. I have lots of cute pictures to scrap of my niece taking a bath that this is going to be PERFECT for!!
