My second card uses the adorable Mailbox Fancy Die.  I went traditional and die cut the mailbox from blue cardstock but added depth with shading using Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink along the edges.  I added 2 envelopes from the die set and layered over an impressed background.  The sentiment is Hello Stamp & Cut (older product) that is still available on the Hero Arts website.

Hello!

The main kit and add-ons are fabulous!  The kit is available for a limited time only - once it's gone, it's gone. Kits begin shipping from Hero Arts on Friday, February 7th.  You can now subscribe to receive the kit monthly and never miss one!  The kit value is over $70......but only costs $34.99.  Once this kit is gone, it's gone!

Kit Contents:
6 x 8 Clear Stamp Set
9 Coordinating Frame Cut Dies
1 Cake Fancy Die
3 Lacquer Pens-Pink Icing, Teal Icing, Yellow Icing
Rainbow Spirals and Balloon Sequins

*********************************************

I have a couple of cards to share using the add-ons from this month's My Monthly Hero Release!

My first card uses the new stamp set called Surprise Gift.  This was so much fun to color in rainbow colors!  But seriously, if you aren't into rainbows, the possibilities are endless!  To keep this simple, the sentiment was stamped repeatedly down the left side in coordinating rainbow ink.

My second card uses the new set Festive Balloon.  Going with a softer color palette, some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink was ink blended in the center.  The banner and those tassels were stamped in bold black ink.  LOVE those tassels!  The balloons were stamped onto scraps of ink blended carstock and die cut.  After arranging the balloons, I added Press 'n Seal and stamped the balloon strings, then added the balloons.  A stamped sentiment and some gems finish this off!

Hero Arts / My Monthly Hero January Blog Hop / Giveaway

Valentine's Sign

Hello and Welcome!
I am so excited to be a part of the My Monthly Hero Blog Hop this month!  Hero Arts is one of my favorite companies so designing with the My Monthly Hero Kits is always an honor!   You are going to LOVE this month's kit (wink wink).

This month's kit has some fabulous LOVE themed sets and dies!  The kit is available for a limited time only - once it's gone, it's gone. Kits begin shipping from Hero Arts on Friday, January 11. You can now subscribe to receive the kit monthly and never miss one!  The kit value is over $70......but only costs $34.99.  Once this kit is gone, it's gone!

The sign die included in the main kit makes the cutest SHAPED card!  I went with a chalkboard look with everything I added to it.

I white heat embossed all the flowers and the containers onto black cardstock and die cut using the coordinating dies.  I added these to the bottom of the black "chalkboard" panel.  The sentiment was also white heat embossed left justified and a single heart was added as well.  All my images were colored with Prismacolor pencils onto the black cardstock.  My chalkboard sign was added to a woodgrain stand--LOVE!

My second card is so "punny"!  I've used the Color Layering Waffles and coordinating dies.  I started with stamping my waffles in 3 tones of brown ink and die cut.  I layered my waffles onto a white standard circle die cut which was layered over a white stamped panel that was made using Bursting with Love Bold Prints cling background and red ink.

I layered my heart panel onto a red panel.  I added a white heat embossed sentiment that was done on a black strip of cardstock.  Two red gems flank either side of my sentiment.

Hero Arts / My Monthly Hero November Blog Hop / Giveaway

Advent2

Hello and Welcome!
I am so excited to be a part of the My Monthly Hero Blog Hop this month!  Hero Arts is one of my favorite companies so designing with the My Monthly Hero Kits is always an honor!   You are going to LOVE this month's kit......I had so much fun and made SIX cards with the main kit and add-ons!!  I will be sharing more of them over on my Instagram feed so make sure to follow me there to see the rest of my cards using the MMH kit!

This month's kit has some fabulous Holiday themed sets and dies!  The kit is available for a limited time only - once it's gone, it's gone. Kits begin shipping from Hero Arts on Friday, November 9. You can now subscribe to receive the kit monthly and never miss one!  The kit value is over $70......but only costs $34.99.  Once this kit is gone, it's gone!

This month's kit contains an Advent cling stamp with ornaments, a clear Advent icons stamp set, coordinating Advent ornament door die, along with some embossing powders.

Advent3

I gold heat embossed the ornaments onto red cardstock and ran this through my Big Shot with the Advent die.  I carefully pulled up all the little ornament windows to stamp all the icons inside.

To finish, I added my panel to the icon panel and onto a top folding white notecard.  A gold/white twine was added to pull the card together.

I adore the tiny reindeer image included in the main stamp set in the kit.  So I made a card focusing on it!  I scored my notecard every 3/4" and stamped two rows of reindeer leaving a space to stamp my sentiment.

I added black eyes with a black pen and red stickles for all the noses!  Clean and simple!

Advent Reindeer

My last card uses an add-on die........the DIY Ornament Kit.  It comes with some beautiful iridescent papers.  I impressed the largest ornament into a white cardstock panel and trimmed it down on 2 sides.

Ornament

After die cutting the largest ornament out of the iridescent paper, it was adhered in the center over the impressed image on my cardstock leaving the points unadhered for dimension.  My sentiment, from Winter Wreath, was GREEN heat embossed onto a strip of white cardstock and added with foam adhesive.  A few sequins were tucked in there to add to the sparkle of the card.  To finish, the panel was adhered to a coordinating green cardstock to pull this all together.  I love how this came out!
