Catherine Pooler Designs / Retro Winter Release

A warm welcome to the Retro Winter release from Catherine Pooler Designs!  There are so many new products and the new COLORS of ink!

I had so much fun with the new colors and totally went wild with stamping and die cutting all the pieces to dress up my snowmen using the new inks......Orange Peel, Pink Champagne, Hot Tub, and Sangria!

Today's card is CAS and perfect for a winter anniversary or wedding!

Love

My background was created by masking off a circle panel and ink blending the new Hot Tub ink.  Once done, the GeoTrio Stencil was used to make the "snow" in the background using the same Hot Tub ink!  I pieced together my snowman and snowwoman with the accessories.  I added them with foam adhesive along with a heart stamped with Rockin' Red ink.

I have been lucky to help Catherine with several of her last releases including her ink lines.  IF YOU HAVEN'T checked out her ink yet, YOU MUST!  It's phenomenal!  Click HERE to visit the inks.

I've used the 'Tis the Season stamp set, which will be released soon as it was part of the holiday Stamp of Approval box.  I stamped the poinsettia in Rockin' Red ink and the leaves in Eucalyptus (brand new color!).  The centers and leaves with berries were gold heat embossed.  These were all die cut with the matching dies.  To create my background, I used the tiny snow stamp and larger berry stamp to white heat emboss a white panel.  After embossing, It's a Boy ink from Catherine Pooler was blended over the panel using the emboss resist technique.  To finish, I layered my poinsettias across my panel and added a white heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock with foam adhesive.

Aren't these names awesome? This is the perfect, rich, sophisticated color collection! They fill so many color holes and they stamp absolutely perfect!  If you have been following Catherine the past week, she has been revealing all the new SPA Collection colors and they are DIVINE!

******************************************

My first card uses one of the new stamp sets and 3 of the new inks. The new Winter Woodland set has several silhouette animals and trees. There are even matching Winter Woodland Dies (but didn't arrive in time for designing)!

Winter Woodland2

I started my card with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended Sauna, Royal Treatment, and Juniper Mist for a sunset sky (find all the inks HERE). They blended beautifully!! I added splatters of Heidi Swapp White Color Shine and then stamped my trees to the right in Midnight Ink. I hand trimmed some snowy hills and added Prisma Glitter to the edges. I stamped and hand trimmed the deer and bunny images. Then I arranged them where I wanted them and stamped the antlers in Midnight Ink as well. After all elements were adhered, I stamped the sentiment onto a white banner and added it with foam adhesive.

Best Plaid

My second card uses the new Plaid Background Stamp and the new ink, Peppermint Scrub. To stamp the plaid, I barely tapped my ink pad to the stamp to cover the surface and then laid my piece of white cardstock over and rubbed. Beautiful plaid!!! I created my sentiment using the Simply the Best stamp set and Best Die. I can't wait to create more plaids in other colors!!

Here's the fabulous line-up for today's blog hop filled with even more inspiration!

My first card uses Tis the Season.  I stamped the poinsettias in Rockin Red and Icing on the Cake using the rock 'n roll technique.  The leaves were all embossed with Princess Gold embossing powder.  My sentiment was stamped onto a strip of white cardstock and layered with vellum and added to my panel with foam ahesive.  For some bling, I added some gold sequins in various sizes.

My second card uses the Wreath of Joy die set.  I die cut the wreath and "dipped" it in watered down Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt Catherine Pooler inks.  I love love this look!

Wreath

The Joy word die was die cut with red cardstock and along with the background, was spritzed with Gold Color Shine by Heidi Swapp.  My wreath was layered onto tri-level square panels.  This leaves the card fairly flat for mailing!

Catherine Pooler Designs / CAS(E) this Sketch!

Hello2

Hello and Welcome!  I am sharing a card made with a brand new stamp set from Lydia Evans for Catherine Pooler Designs called Tilly's Garden.

With this floral stamp set, I could literally create tons of different backgrounds using all the stamps from this set!  I've stamped all my blooms using Catherine Pooler Dye Inks in Tiara, Tiki Torch, Bellini (MY FAVORITE COLOR!), Orange Twist, Sweet Sixteen, Flirty Fuchsia, It's a Girl, Party Dress, Garden Party, Rockin' Red, and Midnight.  I added the new Hello Die done in black cardstock to the bottom edge of my floral panel.  Everything was adhered to a notecard that was stamped with the chevron border from Yay! Stripes.
**There is a sneaky peek at one of the new blocks that will be available in the store too!

Hello3

I also used the newest sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! where I am this week's guest as a past winner!  Here's the sketch for this week!  Thanks Chrissy for having me back!

Lil' Inker Designs / September Release Day 1

Amy_YouveBeenBooed_GhostShakerDie

BOO!  We are starting off Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs September Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for Halloween and Fall.......are you ready?  Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

I am starting the release off with a few cards using some of the new Halloween goodies!

The first set called You've Been Booed is a 4x4 stamp set (with dies) with bold solid letters and fun sentiments.  I've used all Catherine Pooler Inks as they are just AMAZING for coverage.  (If you want to purchase Catherine Pooler Inks, use the link on my sidebar!)

I started with a black panel to which I die cut the Ghost Shaker Die into and added white ghosts with foam adhesive.  I love that the Ghost Shaker Die does the dual stitching!  A small supporting sentiment was white heat embossed at the bottom of my black trimmed panel.  I stamped and die cut my 'BOO' letters and added them with foam adhesive.  My black panel was added to a top folding notecard along with a strip of black white pattern paper.

My next card uses the FaBOOlous stamp set to make my Ghost Shaker Die "girly" by adding those fabulous eyelashes!  And that sentiment?  Love!  I layered 2 ghosts, added them to a purple cardstock panel, and stamped the tiny stars in black.

Amy_FabBOOlous2

I then added my ghost panel to a piece of pattern paper from the Ombre Chevron Paper Pad from Lil' Inker Designs that was die cut with the Stitched Mats: Rectangles.

Now for the fun part!  There is a HUGE giveaway for one lucky commenter......the ENTIRE release!!!

Want a chance to win one of these boxes?  Be sure to comment on every participating post on all three days of the blog hop!

For my first card, I used some of the gorgeous inks from Catherine Pooler.  These inks are the bomb.......They are a premium dye ink with loads of color and perfect coverage with the first stamp!

I started my card by stamping a panel of white cardstock with the large oak leaf from Leaf Motifs in Rockin' Red, Tutti Fruiti, Tiki Torch, Something Borrowed, and Icing on the Cake.  This panel was trimmed and matted with a dark brown cardstock.  My sentiment uses the Thankful Word Die and small words from Autumn Blessings layered over a wide strip of vellum.

My second card uses the new Bloomin' Bouquet that's in the new SOA Counting Blessings.  Such a gorgeous floral set!

Bloomin' Bouquet

I've stamped my blooms in fallish colors using Pixie Dust, Flirty Fuchsia, Orange Twist, Tutti Fruitti, and Tiki Torch for all the blooms.  For the leaves, I used both Grass Skirt and Lime Rickey inks all from Catherine Pooler.

Bloomin' Bouquet2

My florals were layered onto a tag from a new die set in the SOA collection.  The tag was sponged with Tiki Torch ink using the new GeoTrio Stencil.  My tag was layered using foam adhesive onto a white notecard that was scored vertical every 1/4".  To finish, several sparkling clear confetti were added!
