JustRite March Release Day 2

Good morning everyone.  Today is Day 2 of the JustRite March Release.  Today's set is called "Grateful Heart Vintage Labels Two" and coordinates with the JustRite Vintage Labels Two die.

My card has several layers - I love the look of layers!  The light green layer uses JustRite Antique Damask Background stamped with VersaMagic Tea Leaves.  The dark green layer also uses JustRite Antique Damask Background but is stamped with VersaMagic Hint Of Pesto. 

The main image and sentiment are from today's stamp set - Grateful heart Vintage Labels Two - and diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels Two.  The heart in the lower righthand corner was diecut using JustRite Charms heart die and the sentiment comes from the set introduced yesterday - Winged Vintage Labels Two and Three.

JustRite March Release Day 1

Good morning everyone.  Today is Day 1 of the JustRite March releases.  Once again JustRite has outdone themselves and created some awesome new stamp sets.  The releases will continue today through Thursday March 7 so be sure to come back each day for a peak.

Today's release set is called Winged Vintage Labels Two and Three and comes as a clear stamp set.  As the name suggests it has a butterfly theme.

Layer one of my card is stamped using JustRite Floral Flourishes Background inked with Memento Desert Sand.  The beautiful gate is a new release from Spellbinders named Gilded Gate and I colored the details using a Copic Marker.

The butterflies and sentiment are included in today's stamp set - Winged Vintage Labels Two and Three.  The butterflies are stamped  using Versamark Mango Madness, Versamark Jumbo Java and Versamark Pumpkin Spice.  I added the butterfly body and the dots using a black Copic marker.  The sentiment was stamped using Memento Bamboo Leaves.

JustRite Friday Challenge #091

Good morning everyone.  Today I am playing along with the JustRite Friday Challenge which is a color challenge.  I love the colors of gray tones and yellow.

For the bottom portion background, I used Floral Flourishes Background, stamped with Versamark and silver embossing powder.  For the border, I used Classic Sentiment Edges One stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and diecut using Spellbinders Classic Edges One.

For my label, I used Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Two stamped with Memento Tuxedo black and diecut with the coordinating JustRite Vintage Labels Two die.

The beautiful yellow ribbon is from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  To finish my card, I added some decorative rhinestones with portions of them colored with a yellow Copic marker.

JustRite Friday Challenge #090

Good morning everyone.  Today I am playing along with the JustRite Friday challenge which is a sketch challenge.  I really enjoy doing sketch challenges because it gives me a starting point for my card - half the work has already been done for me.

I used some of the newer JustRite stamps to create my card along with the newest JustRite custom dies.

My background was created with the JustRite Floral Flourishes Background stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and edged with Memento Desert Sand.  I also used the Floral Flourishes Background for the center panel - I stamped the background stamp onto fuchsia cardstock with Memento Rose Bud.  The borders below the center panel were created using Spellbinders Classic Edges One.

For the main sentiment I used the JustRite For All You Do Vintage Labels Three and diecut using JustRite Vintage Labels Three dies.  Each layer is stamped and diecut individually with pop dots between each layer giving it more depth.  The black strip was handcut, then I stamped the sentiment which is also included in For All You Do Vintage Labels Three.

The beautiful ribbon is from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  It was white so I just used my copic marker to color it to match my card color theme.

JustRite CHA Release Day 12

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 12 of JustRite CHA release.  Today's set is called Sympathy Vintage Labels and coordinates with JustRite Vintage Label and Banners.

I don't know about you, but I don't really like making sympathy cards.  They are so hard to do because the occasion is very sad.  Recently a good friend of mine lost her mom unexpectedly.  She was very close to her mom as we all are.  I wanted to make sure that the card I made would give her some sort of comfort.

I created several layers of blue and ivory as a base to my card.  The top layer uses JustRite Floral Flourishes Background stamp.  The focal image and sentiment is from Sympathy Vintage Labels, colored with copics and diecut using JustRite Vintage Label and Banners.  The sentiment on the bottom is also included in this set - I just stamped it onto blue cardstock and handcut it.

JustRite CHA Release Day 11

Good morning.  Welcome to another great day of JustRite CHA releases.  Today's release is call French Rose Background.  It's a beautiful background stamp. 

I love to use the JustRite background stamps to decorate candles.  It is so easy to take a simple Dollar Tree candle and turn it into a beautiful home decor item.  "Stamping" on a candle is so easy.  Just stamp the image onto white tissue paper, hold the image against the candle, and use a heat gun to "melt" the tissue paper into the candle.  Just be careful not to hold the heat gun in one area for too long because it will melt the candle too much causing excessive wax.

I stamped the French Rose Background twice onto white tissue paper and "melted" it onto the candle.  The beautiful ribbon used on my candle came from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon store.  Around the top of the candle I added pearls onto pins, pushed into the candle and then applied copper Stickles.

These candles make great gift ideas.  I urge you to give it a try.

JustRite CHA Release Day 10

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 10 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's set is called "For All You Do Vintage Labels Three" and coordinates with JustRite Vintage Labels Three dies.

Today I have created a thank you card using For All You Do Vintage Labels Three.  I stamped the frame and sentiment using Memento Rich Cocoa and then diecut using JustRite Vintage Labels Three.  I edged each layer with Memento Rhubarb Stalk.  I also used a decorative element from this stamp set for the right side panel.
