Snowflake gift bag

Good morning everyone.  Today is the final day of JustRite Papercraft's July release.  I hope you've enjoyed seeing all of the projects as much as I've had making them.

Today's release sets are Snowflakes, Snowflake Vintage Labels Seven and Merry Christmas Sentiment.

I began with a plain gold gift bag which is okay but needed improvements.  I began by stamping the Winter Wonder Background onto Kraft cardstock using Versamark Embossing ink, applied gold embossing powder and heat embossed it.  The snowflakes really pop out!

Next I used the Snowflakes matching SVG cut files to cut some snowflakes out of kraft cardstock, stamped the snowflakes using Versamark embossing ink, applied white embossing powder and heat embossed it. They are attached to the gift back using gold cording and pop dots.

Then I stamped a frame and sentiment from Snowflakes Vintage Labels 7, added color with Copic markers and diecut using JustRite Papercraft Vintage Labels 7 die.  This is also attached using pop dots.

The trim across the bottom and top are made using Martha Stewart Beaded Arch border punch.  To finish it off I added some Kaiser pearls and some bows.

Here are the other designers also showing some awesome projects today using Snowflake Vintage Labels Seven, Snowflakes, and Merry Christmas Sentiment

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Have a great day!!

Nature's Beauty

Good morning everyone.  Today is another introduction day at JustRite Stampers.  Today's introduction is called "Nature's Nested Sentiments".  This stamp set has some great sentiments ranging from Spring to Fall to Winter.  Perfect sentiments for cardmaking as well as scrapbooking.

Today I chose to do another scrapbook page.  This owl perched in a tree right behind my parents house last winter.  He sat there for a really long time even though I was going crazy taking photos of him.  He was so beautiful sitting there with the snow in the trees around him. I thought that this stamp set was perfect for this page.

Each sentiment was stamped using Memento Danube Blue (available at JustRite), and diecut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.  Take a look at how great these Nestabilities work with the JustRite Stamps.  Almost as though they were made to work together!!!  Well actually the JustRite Stamps have always been designed to work extremely well with the Spellbinders Nestabilities.  Easy to use stamps that work well with easy to use dies - match made in Heaven!!

I used the Martha Stewart Double Loops border punch to frame the photo as well as the edges of each side.  I thought that it kinda reminded me of the owl's layers on his back.  I also used the Martha Stewart branch punch to add some branches to my sentiments.

To create the snowflake background on the white panels, I used a snowflake center from the "Holiday Cheer" set stamped with Memento Summer Sky.  These stamps are great for creating your own background paper.  Very Versatile!!!  I also added some turquoise Stickles to each snowflake center.

Below is a closer photo showing the Nature's Nested Sentiments a little bit better.  Isn't that owl beautiful!

Here is a look at the entire Nature's Nested Sentiments set.  Perfect for any occasion.

Be sure to check out the JustRite blog today as well as some of my fellow Design Team Members blogs (Stephanie Kraft, Kathy Jones, and Becca Feeken) for more inspiration.   Don't forget that tomorrow is another stamp set introduction.  Be sure to stop back tomorrow.

Stamp Simply Challenge 118

Good Morning!!! It is finally Friday. Only one week until Christmas. I think I am done shopping - I have everything wrapped and ready to go. I still have chocolates to make but that shouldn't take too long.

Today I am playing along with Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply challenge. The challenge is to incorporate snow into a project. I have about a foot of snow in my yard right now with temperatures at about 3 degrees. I am wishing for Summer from Santa but I don't think that is going to be in my stocking.

Isn't this card adorable!!! And the only thing stamped is the sentiment. Even better. This paper is called Amongst Friends by Murdock Country Creations. Kellie has some amazing scenic paper. If anyone is interested, you can check out her blog Polished to Perfection and send her an email to get information on how to get some of this amazing paper.

My sentiment is from the Big Occasions Centers & Borders set by JustRite Stampers. Then I diecut the center & border separately using Spellbinders Classic Circles & Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

I added Polymark Dimensional Fabric Paint along some branches and sprinkled some glitter to give some "snow" effect.

That's it for today. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and stay warm.

Frosty The Snowman

Isn't this little snowman the cutest thing you have ever seen!!! And he was so easy to make. I found a great tutorial here.

I adjusted my little snowman a bit by adding a "belt buckle" to his hat using the snowflake from the Merry Little Christmas set by JustRite Stampers. It is stamped onto white cardstock using Memories Cherry red ink and I added red & silver stickles to the snowflake. Along the edges of the ribbon, I added some"snow" so that the snowman wouldn't get too warm.

I'm thinking these would make cute craft projects for my daughter's class at school. I have been asked to create and teach a craft by her teacher.

Have a great day!!!
