JustRite CHA Release Day 9

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 9 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's set is called "Poppies Labels Twenty-Nine" and coordinates with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine dies.

This photo is of my oldest daughter Heather and her best friend since nursery school - Jessica

I am continuing to  make an 8 x 8 album of my daughter Heather's wedding.  Today I used the floral image from Poppies Labels Twenty-Nine and colored them yellow to match the flowers in Heather's bouquet.  Then I handcut the flowers and popped them up on the page using pop-dots.

I loved the verse from this set because it expressed the close relationship that these 2 girls have.  The verse is from Poppies Labels Twenty-Nine and stamped inside a frame from For All You Do Vintage Labels Three diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels Three.  I also used a portion of the Genuine Friend Background stamp and highlighted some of the sentiments in blue.

The decorative corners in the lower portion of the page are diecut using Spellbinders Botanical Swirls and Accents.  The decorative corners around the top portion of the photo are from Spellbinders French Frills.

JustRite CHA Release Day 8

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 8 of JustRite CHA releases.  Today's set is called "Butterfly Dreams".  I am continuing my 8 x 8 scrapbook pages of my oldest daughter's wedding. 

This photo is of my daughter with her Maid Of Honor and Bridesmaids

To create my page I used Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One, adding color along the edges with my airbrush system. 

I used several JustRite stamps to create my page.

JustRite CHA Release Day 7

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 7 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's release set is called "Circles Of Love Vintage Labels Three". 

My card has many layers and uses several different JustRite stamps.  The base of my card uses Embroidered Background stamped and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.   The border across the bottom of the card is stamped with Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One and diecut using Spellbinders Classic Edges One die. 

The focal point on my card uses Circle Of Love Vintage Labels Three, stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  To diecut the different layers I used JustRite Custom Vintage Labels Three die - a perfect combination for layering.

JustRite CHA Release Day 5

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 5 of JustRite CHA releases.  As you are reading this post I am on my way to California to attend CHA.  It is so much fun to see all of my "blogland" friends and see all of the awesome new products coming out.  It also doesn't hurt that I will be leaving chilly Maine for sunny California.!

The stamp set today is called "Ornate Happiness Squares" and is designed by Samantha Walker.  She has also designed some Spellbinders dies that match perfectly!!

I don't know about you, but I don't have my photo taken very often.  I'm usually the one behind the camera.  At my oldest daughter's wedding in September the photographer (Thanks Kellie!!) took this photo of my husband and I.  The sentiments in "Ornate Happiness Squares" seemed like a perfect match for my photo.  I stamped each individual sentiment and used a Stampin' Up punch to punch them out.

JustRite CHA Release Day 4

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 4 of the JustRite CHA releases.  Today's set is called "Good Friends Labels Twenty- Nine" and coordinates with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine. 

I decided to use on of the frame stamps from "Good Friends Labels Twenty-Nine" to make an actual frame for my daughter Emily's photo.  This was taken at my oldest daughter Heather's wedding back in September.  I colored the image with Copics, diecut with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine and then "fussy cut" the inside of the frame.  The sentiment "Daughter" is included in "Vintage Rose Medallions" clear stamp set.  The little frame is included in "Just Because Vintage Labels" and diecut with JustRite Antique Labels One.

JustRite CHA Release Day 3

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's release set is called "Special Gifts Labels Twenty-Nine" and is compatible with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine.  I think this set is perfect for cardmaking because friend cards are the most needed cards. 

  

When I first saw this set and the matching Spellbinders die I immediately thought of a book.  The shape just reminded me of an opened book so that is how I set up my card.  Each page is diecut using Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine die.  Then I curled the edges and applied dark brown ink.  Each layer is put together with pop dots between each layer.

The bottom book page is stamped using Elegant Fronds Background.  I stamped it with a juicy brown ink pad, added clear embossing powder, and heat embossed it. 

The top "page" uses one of the images from Special Gifts Labels Twenty-Nine, also heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  To finish off the book I made a little bookmark tassel.

JustRite CHA Release Day 2

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 2 of the JustRite CHA release.  The set today is called "Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Two".  This set is perfect for wedding cards/layouts.  My oldest daughter got married in September so when I saw this set I knew that I was going to use them on some wedding layouts.

To frame the photo of my daughter and her new husband I used Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals One.  The sentiment and corner decorative images are all included in "Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Two".  I thought this sentiment was perfect for this photo.  Love and Laughter are the main ingredients for a long happy marriage.

My layout also gives you a sneak peak at another CHA release background stamp that will be showcased by the JustRite Design team on January 17 - it's called "Floral Flourishes Background".  Be sure to check back on January 17 for more projects.
