Sisters Are Forever

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 4  of the JustRite April Release party.  Today's release is called "Forever Friends" and comes in cling.  The designs in this set are so nice and the frames are perfect for everything.
I decided to make an 8 x 8 scrapbook page of my cats - Emma and Coco. I thought that the "Sisters are Forever" sentiment was perfect for this page because my cats are sisters. They act like sisters too - sometimes best friends and other times enemies!!

The frames and sentiment are stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa.  The center frame is diecut with Spellbinders Labels 3 with the sentiment diecut with Spellbinders Classic Circles.  The cats names were made using JustRite Times Roman 25 point font in Memento Bamboo Leaves and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4.  I also made the photo corners with a stamp from the "Forever Friends" set and then just diecut one corner with Spellbinders Labels 4.

Here is a look at the complete "Forever Friends" set

Dare To Dream

Good morning and welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite April release party.  Today's release is called "Dare To Dream" and comes as a 2" square ribbed set.  This set is perfect for many occasions but especially great for upcoming graduations.

I decided to make a graduation card that is very patriotic.  No particular reason except that I wanted to use the star paper so I went with that color combination.

I stamped a sentiment from "Dare To Dream" onto white cardstock using Memento Lady Bug and diecut it with Spellbinders Labels 12.  JustRite also have their own Custom Charm Dies which is how I diecut the star that I applied my sentiment to.  My other sentiment "Graduate" is also from JustRite and comes in the set called "All Occasions Nested Sentiments".  This is stamped with Memento Danube Blue and diecut with more JustRite Custom dies called "Nested Sentiment Dies" and "Nested Frame Dies".  These die set are a perfect match for these sentiments making the card much easier and faster to complete.
The borders along each side of the card were created using the Fiskars Upper Crest border punch cut in all 3 colors.

Here is a look at the complete stamp sets used for my card:

Signs Of Life

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 2 of the JustRite April Release party.  Today's release stamp set is called "Signs Of Life" and comes in cling.  This set includes some adorable decorative frames as well as some really nice sentiments.  It also includes the sign post hanger that works perfectly with the decorative frames.

I decided to make a scrapbook page of my daughter's first horseback ride.  She was so excited to get up onto that horse.  She really enjoyed riding around the field but when she got off the horse she said "that horse is really big sitting on it".

I chose a frame and sentiment "Enjoy Life's Simple Moments" which seemed perfect for my page.  I needed the sign to hang on the right hand side of my page but the hanger was meant to be on the left hand side when stamped.  To solve my issue, I stamped it onto acetate, handcut it and flipped it around and applied it to the right hand side of my page.  The sign is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 15.

For my other sentiment I chose one from the JustRite "Cherish The Memories" Nested Sentiments set.  This sentiment "A Moment To Treasure" also seemed perfect for this page.  It is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and Memento Danube Blue and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 11.
The rope border on either side of the page was made using the Fiskars Rope Border punch.

Here is a look at the entire sets that I used to create this adorable scrapbook page:

Don't forget that stamps are great on scrapbook pages as well as cards

Happy Easter treat box

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 1 of the JustRite April Release party!  The April release sets are going to blow your socks off!!  They are really great.  Each day beginning today and going through to April 13th the JustRite Design team will be showcasing a different set each day.  You are not going to want to miss a single day.  Today's set is called "From My Kitchen" and comes as  1 5/8" ribbed.  This set is perfect for baked gifts, scrapbook pages, recipe cards or anything else "yummy".

For my project I decided to make an Easter Treat Box.  The box is created using my Cricut Expression along with the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge set at size 5 3/4".  The Easter Bunny is created using the Cricut Expression along with the Animal Kingdom cartridge set at size 6".

My sentiment on the front of the box is from the "From My Kitchen" set, stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves, colored with Copics and diecut with Spellbinders Petite Scallop Circles (a perfect match!)

The bunny is holding his Easter Sign which is from the "Just Ducky" cling set as well as the Easter Eggs.  I diecut the sign using the JustRite Custom Nested Sentiment Dies.  The Easter Eggs are colored with Copics and hand cut.

Friends

Good morning everyone.  Happy April Fool's Day!!  Here in Maine today we are suppose to be getting up to 12" of snow!!!  I wish this was an April Fool's joke but unfortunately it's not.  I am so sick of snow - I looked at my flowerbeds yesterday and saw my peonies and lillies starting to peak up through the soil  - now they are going to turn around and hide!!

Today my card is based on the sketch last week over at Splitcoast.  I struggled with this sketch at first but I think it turned out nice in the end.

Thanks to the inspiration from my friend Kathy at Inspired to Stamp, I finally broke down and purchased the Martha Stewart Deco Fan border punch.  Kathy always has such awesome projects using this punch that I knew that I had to have it.

I applied purple Tulip Puffy Paint along the edges of the deco fan punch.  I also dusted off my lonely sewing machine and stitched around the edges of the light purple cardstock.

The sentiment that I chose is from the JustRite  "Friendship Nested Sentiment" set, stamped with Memento Rose Bud and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4.

**ENABLER ALERT**  Starting on Monday April 4 through Wednesday April 13, JustRite Stampers will begin introducing their April Releases.  I will have a project each of these days as well as some of the other JustRite design team members.  This release is awesome, you're not going to want to miss any day.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit.  I hope you have a great day and a great weekend.

Plant Smiles.....

Good morning everyone.  Today I am playing along with the C4C80 sketch challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges.  This sketch looked very interesting so I wanted to give it a try.
I am so ready for Springtime and warmer temperatures - it only reached 28 degrees here in Maine today!!  This card really warmed me up.

Here is a look at the sketch
My floral stamp is from JustRite "The Greatest Joy", colored with Copics and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals.  The frame is diecut with Spellbinders Labels 8.  The sentiment is from JustRite "Seeds Of Kindness", stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves and Memento Tuxedo Black and diecut with Spellbinders.  The larger striped mat was created with different sized strips of paper from the DCWV Cafe' Mediterranean Stack and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 8.  The next layer is embossed with Sizzix Kassie's Brocade embossing folder and inked with Memento New Sprout.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  I hope you have a great day!!
