JustRite Papercraft Friday Challenge 080

Good morning everyone.  Today I am playing along with the JustRite Friday challenge which is to create a card with more than one fold.  My cards are usually just the basic one fold type so I thought that this would be a fun challenge.  I searched the web looking for ideas and found this great tutorial by Julie Dinn  for a double tri shutter card so I gave it a shot.  It was so much fun!

I also used several JustRite stamps and Spellbinders Dies to create my card.  Here is the breakdown of what I used:

Left side panel - Elegant Fronds Background stamped with Versamagic Sahara Sand, Sentiment is from Botanical Medallions and Banners stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa diecut with Spellbinders Labels 8 and matted onto Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8, Flower made using Spellbinders Spiral Blossom 3 with the edges inked with Memento Tangelo. Greenery was diecut using Spellbinders Foliage 2 die.

Top and Bottom Edge - I stamped Vintage Alphabet Soup Background using Versamagic Aegean Blue and cut it into alphabet strips.

Right side panel -  Elegant Fronds Background stamped with Versamagic Sahara Sand, Sentiment is from Seeds Of Summer stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa diecut with Spellbinders Labels 8 and matted onto Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8, Flower made using Spellbinders Spiral Blossom 3 with the edges inked with Memento Tangelo.  Greenery was diecut using Spellbinders Foliage 2 die.

Short Center Left and Right Panels - Fleuriste Newsprint Background stamped with Versamagic Sahara Sand.

3 Short Center Panels - Elegant Fronds Background stamped with VersaMagic Aloe Vera and VersaMagic Sahara Sand.  The green triangles were diecut using Spellbinders Botanical Swirls and Accents die.  The sentiments are from Just The Right Words stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4.

All of the stamped images/sentiments were edged with Ranger Tea Dye Distress ink.

JustRite August Release - final day

Good morning and welcome to the final day of the JustRite August releases.  I hope you have been inspired by all of the great projects done by the JustRite design team.  Kellie, Amy, Becca and Samantha have outdone themselves this month.

The stamps being shown today are all Christmas stamps.  I can't believe that Christmas is only a few short months away!!  Where has the summer gone?  For my project I decided to create a cute little Christmas tag.  I don't make tags very often but I really like the effect that a tag gives a gift.

My tag base is created using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 die.  The poinsettia is diecut using Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia dies.  The main portion of the tag was stamped using JustRite Merry Christmas Background stamp.  The sentiment is from Antique Christmas Tags One and diecut with JustRite Custom Antique Tags One die.  The beautiful bow is created using some more of the awesome ribbon from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

JustRite August Release - Day 5

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 5 of the JustRite August Release.  Today's release is called "Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves".  I love the colors of Fall here in Maine.  The weather in the Fall is so nice, warm days and cool nights.

  My project is a piece of wood turned into a home decor photo piece of my oldest daughter and her fiance'.  To cover the wood I stamped Cozy Plaid Background twice using different Fall shades of Memento ink and applied to wood.  To cover the edges of the wood I dragged my brown ink pad along the edges.  The sentiments on the lower right corner are from "Always and Forever Medallion Labels" diecut with JustRite Custom Nested Oval Medallion Label dies.  The chic leaves are from "Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves" handcut and curled.  The photo corners were diecut using Spellbinders Botanical Swirls and Accents.

JustRite Papercraft - Samantha Walker release day 2

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to day 2 of Samantha Walker's stamp release.  Today I have another card showing these great stamps.

My card base is diecut with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles, airbrushed with Copics and then glitter was applied.  I used the Elegant Fronds Background stamped in purple and yellow for the center portion of my card base.  The purple frame was diecut  from Murdock Country Creations Sterling Polished Stone paper using Spellbinder Botanical Swirls and Accents die and sanded to get the white portions.  The center sentiment is from Botanical Swirls Labels.  The "I Love You" sentiment is from Always and Forever Medallion Labels and diecut with JustRite Custom Charm dies.

JustRite PaperCraft - Samantha Walker August Release

Good morning everyone.  Today's JustRite release introduces another great stamp line designed by Samantha Walker.  I had the pleasure of meeting Samantha at CHA in Chicago in July.  She is a very sweet person.  Here is some information about Samantha.

My card base uses the Samantha Walker Fragrant Garden Background stamp along with JustRite Elegant Fronds Background stamped in Memento Pear Tart.  The sentiment is from another Samantha Walker set called Botanical Swirls Labels.

Spellbinders also have some dies that are a perfect match for these new stamp sets.  My Eiffel Tower was diecut using Spellbinders French Frills.  The sentiment was diecut using Spellbinders Botanical Swirls and Accents.  Now if anyone is on the fence about buying the Spellbinders Grand Caliber diecutting machine - it is a MUST HAVE!!  Because the machine plates are 8 1/2" x 12 1/4" I was able to do all of my diecutting in one shot - major time saver.

JustRite Papercraft - Amazing Paper Grace August Release - Day 2

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the 2nd day of the JustRite - Amazing Paper Grace - August release. My project today is a version of a cute little box that I have been seeing in blogland.  I have been admiring them so I finally decided to give it a try.  It really isn't very hard to create and will look great on my desk.

  

The bottom of the box consists of 4 little drawers - on the fronts of each drawer I added sentiments from "Just The Right Words" along with button pulls.  The verse on the top of the drawer box is from "Vintage Filigree Fancies" diecut with Spellbinders Labels 23.  

To create the design on the brown cardstock, I stamped Elegant Fronds Background using Versamark, added clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.  

On the back easel portion I stamped "Vintage Alphabet Soup" Background with 2 different ink colors and matted it onto Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares.

The beautiful bow was made using ribbon from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
