We had decided to go to the beach one day thatI had off so I realized that I needed to take Summer's invitation pictures so I brought all the stuff and we headed to take pictures in Santa Monica. It was a beautiful warm winter day and overcast so it was perfect for pictures. Summer was adorable. I can't believe how many people comment on her hair. People just love curly haired kids. An interesting thing that Summer did this time at the beach is she licked the sand, yeah licked the sand. Derek tried to get it off her tongue, but wasn't very successful. I have no clue what possessed her to lick the sand. If you couldn't tell already my little girl is still obsessed with Bubble guppies. We will be having a Bubble Guppy Birthday Party!
In December it began looking like Fall. All of the leaves were falling and Summer played in Nana and Papa's front year in all of the leaves. She had so much fun.
For Summer;s Birthday we went to Disneyland. We went the night before to the Rainforest cafe and she was sung to there. Then next morning we went to Goofy's Kitchen and she got sung to there by pluto. After getting up at 7am to go to breakfast she was pretty tired when we entered the park. She went on Haunted Mansion and then fell asleep for two hours while Derek, Morgan, and I rode all the big rides. Then Summer woke up and it was about noon and the park was terrible packed. So we went on kids rides. Tea cups, Toads, and the carousel. The Brandy and Andrew met up with us and we went on a couple of more rides but because it was so packed we decided to leave early and go eat dinner with Andrew and Brandy and their kids. It is crazy how packed Disneyland gets. We even went on a Monday while kids were still in school. I like going to theme parks but not waiting in crazy lines that is why I love Knott's and Six Flags.
