Gavin has been counting down for weeks to start school. And today was the first day. I got him a pencil box filled up with all his supplies. And we had his favorite breakfast: chocolate chip pancakes, mandarin oranges, and a smoothie. We drove him to school and he was so cute looking around and taking it all in. I feel bad I didn't cry. But I know he is so ready for this and I know its going to be a good year. Im especially excited about his teacher. Grandma Jones worked with her for some years. She is a well seasoned teacher and I couldn't be happier.

Don't feel bad-I didn't cry either. ;) It's an exciting milestone,especially when they're excited about it too! Hope he has great first year of school!
