doing some really last minute studying now.totally got no mood lah.
anyway i just smiled to myself reading different things.
finally percussion'04 is going to meet up after a year! (:
but sujun and julia are going overseas this year for studies, while shuyan is coming back.
even though it's gonna be hard to meet, we still can try!
found the final fantasy medley mp3 file, from the website i started/ expanded my band music library when i was in sec 2.
found out that it's from new sounds in brass 2004 haha.
but the version i found don't sound like a tkwo recording quality?
it sounds very clear. o.O
i should never start looking for a song, cos in the process i'll also kpo alot of other songs..
okay study and i shall go to sleep.
i can't wait for tmr to end, like NOW.
left with jap listening on wednesday and econs presentation on thursday.
then i'm more or less project-free other than next wed's jap roleplay.
but after all these it's studying for main exams. -.-

today was a long day.2 naggy lessons this morning and headed to bedok for curry chicken mee with yaju :D
studied at the library for about 3 hours before heading to town.
i completed almost 3 topics for macroecons!
we wanted to go for the free starbucks drink but the queue was so long we gave up. [this is singapore, free stuff = long queue]
oh i finally bought the stickbag from yamaha. (:
i bought the $26 pro-mark one in the end. hahaha.
went daiso before that and surprisingly i didn't buy anything other than the cocoa drink!
cos it was much more crowded than usual so i didn't had the mood to shop..
beer battered fish for dinner!
it was still early for sws that we went carrefour to walk one round.
then i went for sws practice for comworks 2010.
oh the primary school syf set piece is not easy..!

i don't know how long more can i last, i think i'm reaching the limit soon.
so things better get better.
i thought about, why am i more attracted to band and music?
the reason was simple: because there's nothing else i can do decently.
but thoughts like being neither here nor there is worst.
the feeling sucks alot.
i guess i already made regretful decisions.

i already feel like postponing the japan anniversary posts.
i guess no one else other than the 'celebrating people' are interested anyway because it acts as a space for them to wander into the hx world of japan. HAHA.

OMG I CAN'T BLOG ALREADY.my itchy hands clicked too fast and deleted all the photos from my phone for today and yesterday while marking the photos to send to my laptop. ):
there's no recycle bin in the phone! argh.
anyway studying today failed.
yaju and i ate lunch at white sands macs.
intended to walk to ehub to look for somewhere to study with plug.
reached the bus stop and it started raining damn heavily, 2 days worth of rain leh.
got stuck at the bus stop for 30 minutes.
the people opposite were standing on the chair! HAHA. *imagines picture which got deleted*
we hid behind the umbrella though but we still got wet.
took the train to airport.
spent another 30 minutes looking for a place with plug, from t3 to t1 to t2.
wl we walked the whole airport and they locked all the plugs and only coffee bean has it, but they were all taken.
so we ended up studying 1 topic and bought a cup of drink.
then we went home after gossiping. wtf didn't even study. -.-
i studied the geographic location of japan only LOL.
so yeah, i shall study a bit tonight!
cos tmr's gonna be whole day out, exciting day. (:

today, or rather yesterday.was supposed to reach toa payoh stadium at 8am to go see ole cheerleading and pass track pants.
i woke up at 8.20am. \:
although i wasn't much of a help, i helped by playing the music and holding things. lol.
it's good to relive some memories by watching them you know. (:
i actually got slightly tanner just by being under the sun at 12pm for half an hour or so.
my face feels like it's burning. o.O
oh yeah i'm quite amused by the juniors. hahaha.
"how to spell oleander?" i thought this was funny. HAHA!
my itunes just played one song: 恋爱达人.
our favourite during cheer practices then.. with pepsi cola as our favourite game.
how i miss those days.
the days under the sun and rain, in school and at stadiums.
kiat and i were like. missing lifting people? haha.

after calculating the % for accouting, it seems like i failed class participation more than i failed the class test. wtf. -.-cos adding up the 2 test marks i seem to have passed. unless i remember the wrong marks?
i'd better save myself next tuesday. 60%.

then cow just threw her paper on the table and we started packing. HAHA.
we still took around 1 hour in the end... with val finishing the earliest - 40 minutes?

hello i was too lazy/tired to blog for the past few days..so to make it up, everything from wednesday:
wednesday; 8th april
woke up early early in the morning and queued for syf morning session tickets at 8am.
aye i slept for 2 - 3 hours and survived until 11pm at night!!
met choy first. gwee siying was late. lingmei met us later.
*mj & tj banders = ms sia's students unite. hahahaha.
morning results was unexpected again.
seems like most bands were pushed down by one grade..
queued for afternoon session tickets. ate at subway for lunch.
missed the first band and continued from temasek.
sat at the last row.. the sound is actually quite different i think. o.O
results more expected than morning session i guess.
but look at the trend for gwh, only 1 band got it since friday afternoon's session.
or rather, in 3 1/2 days.
and 8 bands got it in 4 1/2 days.
hmmm....
didn't stay for the dialogue session and went to bugis.
ate dinner with pua siying who was working at bugis and having dinner break.
i ate dinner with the 2 (gay) siyings :D
went to smu to hand in gwee siying's uni application. pua siying went back to work.
then she went off for her dance lesson and i went to find christine and val for jap lesson.
why the sky/clouds/sun so nice nowadays?
thursday; 9th april
i woke up at 3pm compensating my sleep deprivedness.
rotted until almost 7pm then i left house for sws.
practice was okay.. but i still somewhat feel unprepared for concert.
and i realise i actually got quite alot of resting pieces. HAHA.
practice delayed and ended at 10.45pm?
after packing we left ulu pandan cc at 11.15pm..
reached home at 12.30am.
HAHA i only reach home at that time when perckies used to eat supper after band.
friday; 10th april
my mummy smartly told me that we going to bai my ahgong ahma next morning when i reached home the previous night.
so met christine at 1pm instead of 11am for jap studying at liang court.
val came later.
we ended up at macs cos the jap food court at the basement was too expensive...
but i only bought a milkshake from macs and ended up spending alot on the basement food which we da bao-ed up to eat. \:
christine brought the kueh from her house to save some money. HAHA.
the very nice cheesecake which cost $6!! [okay lah, 3 of us shared it so $2/person]
THE WTF EXPENSIVE PUDDING. 3 FOR $9 = 1 FOR $3!!!
but nvm lah, to relieve our japan days.. i miss the pudding from 7-11 lah! ):
the tray filled with only one macs nuggets box and macs cup, others all outside food. X:
FINALLY AT 5PM! we managed to buy our cream puff at our 3rd attempt.
cos the shop only bake and sell 40 of it hourly. so we missed the 3pm and 4pm one.
i was the first to order for the 5pm slot. hahaha.
you should see christine's and my face once we stepped out of the shop. happiness was written all over it.
plus we zi-highed alot in that shop..
eg. some shop assistants were japanese, so we were like: wah we talked to a japanese! -.-
幸福 aka shiawase :D

val doesn't want to be gay like us.

so we spent $10 on random food.
and jap studying wasn't very fruitful.. hahaha.

morning, went to watch okuribito/departed with my mummy and brother.
nice show. pretty meaningful.
and wah the girl very chio sia! [omg i sound like a tiko guy] HAHAHA les vibes.
hung around tampines.. tampines one was omg i don't want to shop feel.
that jap clothes store longggg queueeee. maybe i should go there on a weekday morning..
reached home and online-d till gwee siying come my house at 6pm.
and i think i'm going to get killed by alfri cos he went for swsy today. X:
the thought of the instruments being packed for sunday stopped me from going oops.
and i thought no one was going!!
anyway, siying is now my restaurant city consultant.
my popularity is like omg so high (just) now!
we were like watching stocks, it kept rising and we got higher. HAHA.
we started on our abc proposal too yo!
4 pages now but it's not really 4 pages of words.
and we managed to apply our pw skills! hahaha.
then we went to eat dinner before she went home.
our mee cai mat and chicken wings! :D
okay so tmr's beautiful sunday.
12th april.. it's such a meaningful date.
will elaborate more tmr or something after the concert. HAHA.

2005 syf memories
random playback of songs on my mp3 brought me to singapore rhapsody.
being the usual me, i was hitting on my drumpad in the middle of the night - 3am.
i played along and realise i could actually remember my snare part for the whole song, without score!
and remembered how hard i actually practised then..
i practised everyday. singapore rhapsody and star of dreams.
i tried to perfect every single stroke for singapore rhapsody.
i was so scared that i'd screw up for star of dreams, that i practised with metronome everyday at speed 172.
sir spent sectionals making me count and made sure everything was going well.
yes he was always saying that my roll is horrible which i thought so too. HAHA.
so dear dear shuyan and i will have private rolling sessions during sectionals hahaha!
i miss the hiong days then.
and the feeling of working hard..

okay 1 week and 4 days more before i can officially hx freely!
and 2 days more to the start of promos...
ahhhhhh omg.
well i should be seeing hope, or at least think so.
i think i'll be fine as long as i build barriers to entry for negative thoughts to my brain.
