i guess i don't really blog about my school & band life now..
either i'm too busy/lazy or just don't feel like it.
i'm blogging now because i'm waiting for my hair to dry HAHA.
unlike in the past i blogged alot about my daily school life.
which now has become memories for me to read..
when i read it, i'd smile and laugh at those silly and fun times.

i met and talked to 2 on monday.
interesting topics like finding out that one of our batchmate got engaged in an arranged marriage due to some religious beliefs? O.O
today, i met bao for lunch/dinner at amk before going for band practice.
whoohoo we need some proper time to shop! :D
and i finally bought my slippers today! everlast polka-dot slippers LOL.
oh yes and so we had our usual catching up session..
then talked about the future etc.
time really really flies, before we know it i think we're gonna be 30 years old! \:
band-related segment
today was the last practice before concert.
gotta spam more of portrait tmr night cos i'm still hitting wrong notes, shit.
but honestly it's a not-very-prepared concert, at least for me.
i played march willing and able with the band for the first time today although i've played it before elsewhere, pirates for the 2nd time and ran through the whole of portrait for the first time.
bless me, may everything go well especially portrait.
HAHA and suddenly when we need soft timpani sticks there isn't any!

the last time i saw 7 people squeeze into a car was when i was sec 1, we saw the sec 4 leaders squeezing into someone's dad's taxi, hahaha.
school-related segment.
i finally got to know more of my classmates during hr management tutorial yesterday.
our tutor decided to let us play bonding games cos...

yeah i don't know who is he either, lol.
school has been alright so far.
you don't need to have alot of friends to enjoy school.
i learnt how to survive in an environment with nobody i know.
make more friends?
so far so good, i was in the mood to make friends for the past 2 weeks.
actually i hope the mood won't disappear, i wasn't this anti-social years ago. ):
external factors changed me over the years.

cca recruitment; 21st - 23rd april21st april (wed) was performance day.
jamming in the band room as always.

23rd april; weida aka boss's birthday celebration after band.
it was a great school day!
from tending the band booth for 1 hour (i overslept and cabbed to school) to business day to apel to band.
we went for business day for attendance only lah.. cos we had lecture after that so they didn't let us participate in the games. -.-
they even asked us if we wanted to go out to have refreshments instead.
so we took our free drink and bread and went off HAHA.
went to buy books, went mensa for lunch/dinner.
anyway it was like a mini 1b03 gathering! (:
krystal and i with probably about half the guys?
and winghong and my new classmate haha.
met our class for the FIRST TIME after school started during apel.
lol didn't even talk to anyone or rather no chance either.
but whatever, at least i know 2 person in the class now :D
so band was combined.
then after band...

i hereby proclaim 1 vitamin c tablet works better than panadol for me, with a 3 hour nap as a bonus.

cycled to school on friday with aaron.before that, a series of unfortunate events happened. let me try summarising them:
1. bicycle wasn't fixed properly so the handle turned when he tried it.
2. when we were about to leave the shop, the tyre was punctured.
3. when we were about to set off for school, his slippers broke.
4. at the same time while we were finding slippers, rain poured.
5. raincoat was sold out everywhere.
6. went to his house to get umbrella, "scully lift spoil" and it came true.
7. cycling in the rain with umbrella, my umbrella flew off to him who was behind me.
so we reached school at almost 6pm when we were supposed to reach at 3.30pm.
went to have dinner since we were hungry already....
then band was sectionals again.
anyhow the cycling journey takes 1 hour although it's quite draining with my old bike.
much better than walking which takes 2 1/2 hours HAHA.
see how bad my phone camera is, 2mp.

17th april; cedarband concert vivace I.
the concert was in the school's plush auditorium (what's with the plush right?).
anyway you can say it was csb's first proper band concert.
the previous ones were combined with choir etc.. (i want to watch 2004's perc ensemble video! why didn't band get the disc ah?!)
we were late for the concert because we stupidly missed 100 at aljunied, we were standing at the bus stop and we saw the bus left. HAHAHA.
it was full house and even if there were seats, they're single seats.
sorry joel raz and aaron that ya'll didn't had seats and had to stand/sit behind!!
and we didn't went for supper although we still have lots of chances to eat supper. haha.

btw, it was the first time i was asked to lower down my volume at macs.

in my 4 years of patronising there, i was much louder and nobody stopped us.

oh yes it was just yaju and i as usual, attending the concert from our batch.
i feel like making use of the presence of the audi to accomplish something now.
after the concert, i knew that i haven't gave up and that i still feel for the band.
it really is that hard to completely give up.
no more waiting, i must tell myself to start working on it now.
it's the 4th year that we've been saying to form the alumni band.
we're not young anymore.. GETTING OLD ALREADY LEH.

i can only pack when i have the 'i-want-to-throw-everything-away' feeling if not i'll end up keeping everything cos i wanna keep it for memory. -.-

choy: the ideal age for marriage is 26 years old which is 6 years later only leh. omg imagine the juniors who're 6 years younger, when they reach our age now we're supposed to be getting married already!

and the funny (?) thing is juniors and seniors are getting attached and we're not. LOL.
but then again, i don't even know what i want in the (getting-near) future....
okay school's starting later.

here's my timetable for the semester.
not too bad, except calculus screwing up my dream timetable!!
lecture on tuesday 6pm and tutorial on thursday.
there's only 1 calculus lecture group in the whole week i can't even auto-switch!
nooooo i almost got an off day from school ARGH! 2pm is such a 不三不四 timing!
i won't mind if it's in the morning or something. \:
maybe i shouldn't have taken calculus, but then again there's nothing else that interests me already! (not that calculus very interesting.. cos i heard it's amaths HAHA)
overall, cool. 17 hours in total for the week.
much much better than previous sem's anyhow timetable too.
anyway yesterday dropped by nus to meet yaju and ruixian.
had alot of fun catching up with some gossips! :P
dinner-ed at holland v swensens with yaju while ruixian went for xiaolongbao buffet with her friend.
wow there's student meal and it's so cheap!
$17+ for main course + drink + dessert :D
okay off to clean my bike.
i haven't copied my jap notes from last lesson yet too..
ahh my room is still in a pretty messy mess.

today, i went to watch clash of the titans very randomly with limsai (tsuwie).was supposed to go back cedar to eat horfun but ended up not going back.
so i came online and she asked me if i'm free and since i'd be rotting away at home...
off we went to bishan to watch movie! HAHA.
i didn't even know what the movie was about before that lol.
anyhow, it turned out not bad.
after the movie we ate dinner at thai express.
had a mini catching-up session with her, i haven't met her for more than a year!!!
i haven't been to bishan for ages too. o.O
but seeing all the school kids reminded me of how we used to hang out at bishan after school: neoprints, movies, shopping, lunch, studying.
good ol' days. (:
hope we can meet again soon!

band was sectionals and we attempted brazilian street dance.

ohwell the cedar tutoring days last year..
it felt good watching the juniors grow and being part of their syf journey.
how the band improved over the few months and grew closer.
i have a strong feeling there'll be no more of all these.
seeing the amount of effort people are putting into the band, it really disheartens and discourages me.
we were calculating last week, sibf is only 3 months away and how prepared are we?
what's the purpose and motivation of trying so hard anymore?
alfri lasted 6 years and me 3 years.
maybe that's why i'm losing faith in human and 'team spirit'.
i used to believe strongly in team spirit but it doesn't work this way anymore.
is it that hard to get committed players these days?
sorry but sad to say, i'm disappointed with the band life i'm experiencing now.
the attitude of some players is really discouraging me from putting in too much effort.
not all though, some must be feeling the same way as i do.
i've been trying hard for at least the past year, i don't have that much stamina left.
met raz, samuel and joel at city hall for beautiful sunday.
i went mostly for the repertoire haha.
they played a number of my favourite songs :D
after the concert we went to esplanade library for percussion ensemble scores search.
then it was marina square and wangmin joined us for dinner: manhattan fish market!
after dinner was joel's shopping time LOL.
he finally bought his shoes and a 'japan' top from num.
the rest of us bought nothing hahaha. i felt like getting slippers though....
so we balik kampong at 9+pm.
today (monday), band.
usual band routine.. then prata. then home.
nothing special.
i realised it was 12 april
not feeling it anymore, it's slowly fading off from my life.

hello, it has been a very long time since i made a proper post.working for the previous month resulted in nothing to blog.
unless you're interested in my worklife & bandlife. lol.
tp perc chalet @ sentosa; 6th - 8th april
here's tp perc chalet photos at sentosa! :D
aircon kampong hut was cool, something new unlike the typical chalets.
good: aircon, wireless, OWN BED! (chalets fit at most 3 person comfortably on the bed)
bad: no personal toilet. see, the good outweigh the bad!
the first thing we did when we reached, check for wireless HAHAHA.
oops i brought my bro's (we share share) super compact pillow along :D

realised we haven't ate dinner and koufu (just a google search away) closes at 9pm.
walked there and managed to get some food to eat.
expensive though! that's why i only visit 7-11 when i go sentosa..
i have bao wu in my laptop okay! hahahaha.
