this is the only disadvantage of not going with the school.

hello, it has been a very long time since i made a proper post.working for the previous month resulted in nothing to blog.
unless you're interested in my worklife & bandlife. lol.
tp perc chalet @ sentosa; 6th - 8th april
here's tp perc chalet photos at sentosa! :D
aircon kampong hut was cool, something new unlike the typical chalets.
good: aircon, wireless, OWN BED! (chalets fit at most 3 person comfortably on the bed)
bad: no personal toilet. see, the good outweigh the bad!
the first thing we did when we reached, check for wireless HAHAHA.
oops i brought my bro's (we share share) super compact pillow along :D

so after kayaking i went back to the chalet to watch drama HAHA.
equally shiok, enjoy aircon & wireless!
they came back from the beach and then we finished an episode of the drama.
all of us fell asleep for 2 hours and woke up at 8pm.
realised we haven't ate dinner and koufu (just a google search away) closes at 9pm.
walked there and managed to get some food to eat.
expensive though! that's why i only visit 7-11 when i go sentosa..
i have bao wu in my laptop okay! hahahaha.
daidi-ing but the photos i'm posting have no cards i realised. hahaha.
i like the effect! just that i blocked raz's face. \:

like say, work for half a year and be a student for the other half.
i'd love this lifestyle, if only it's possible.

learnt and gained new experiences from it, my first office job. (:

cos at natas fair, i was called an aunty taught by the mother to the kid [lol wtf right] and someone thanked me in japanese.
then at work yesterday, the kids were as cute as ever :D
especially when L came back and B was so happy. hahaha.
and listening to their kiddy conversations and innocent comments.
made me want to stay a kid forever..
but of course there're also exceptions. \:

hello i'm waiting for my hair to dry..and actually waiting to harvest my crop at farmville. HAHA.
so yeah the 3 days ended!
my muscles feel like it's tearing, joints feel like it's breaking, for both hands and legs.
stand and walk the whole day, with a bunch of huge paper bags and brochures through the large crowd. occasionally being ambushed by kiasuism - the free paper bags. -.-
facing some gl mr SGs - first 2 days lah last day was okay already (don't think many will get this :P) and some gl visitors.
i managed to convince myself that my mood affects what i think of people's behavior.
and there is this psychological game you can play around with, like trying to think that they are thinking this way instead of that way. ha, if you get what i'm saying..
hahah i'm too tired to think of what other body part is not feeling right already..
quote my facebook status: i just found 2 papercuts on my hand, my finger bled, had an arm cut and have almost disabled hands and legs.
actually i'm also quite used to getting bruises and all from being a percussionist. just that the muscles don't ache so much from excessive carrying.
OKAY NOW THE GOOD THINGS ABOUT WORKING :D
overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
got to meet many different types of people, people working there and the people we talk to when we distribute our stuff.
[we liked visiting the japan booth to distribute our stuff cos we're somehow related! plus the people there were nice, mostly japanese lol]
we managed to get some free gifts while doing our jobs. hehheh.
many japan brochures (HAHA), pens, hk disneyland postcards!! and more..
shiawase people :D
i enjoyed talking to people at his too. there were 2 japanese who helped out in distributing brochures and they're interesting people. haha.
aiyah everyone's interesting in a way. (:
so yup, although tiring but got to learn new things and gain more experience. (:
oh ya, we kept seeing japan here japan there but we can't go. HAHA WL so tempting.
nvm we shall see if we even go malaysia first. lol.
okay go harvest my crop and go sleep already.

my bed is calling out for me.i was still thinking last night that i should exercise my legs soon instead of sitting in front of the computer whole day after watching 1 litre of tears. to make better use of my legs cos they're getting stiff.
and today i exercised it for more than 12 hours. HAHA.
i think i walked a total of more than 10km around the 2 expo halls. o.O
anyway if anyone seeing this is going to natas travel fair this weekend, can drop by h.i.s to take a look (or get free popcorn) :D
val and i were like, ooh 4d2n nagoya! hahaha.
that one can be fulfilled within 2 years leh, no need 5 years. xD
there're other countries too!

i watched until damn shuang last night but couldn't continue cos had to sleep, got work!
a plus with the super good weather, i didn't even on the fan and it was cold enough.

the 2 days of work was quite interesting.us 4 girls and 1 guy got along well. (:
and the coincidental thing is one girl and the guy was also from mj but 2 years senior cos he just finished army.
the other 2 were np. 2 schools altogether :D
anyway we were splitted up and so the mj people went together, aha.
the other temp workers there were funny and nice!
it was a warehouse job. like packer?
but the guys moved the things so we helped around and read the quantities etc out.
OH i did use my brain okay. to sort the list of goods into boxes..
was super tired on the 2nd day, so i almost fell asleep writing them.
good experience :D
fyi, it was from 8.30 - 10pm, with ot.
and then waking up at 6.30am the next day!
that's part of the reason why i didn't extend for another 2 days.. i wanna sleeeep.
but no lah, main reason is that i'm booked for the next 2 days.
today, thursday.
yay i woke up at 12.30pm! sleep sleep sleep! :D
then went down to cedar..
oh the sec 1s came today.
syahirah reminded me that it had been 3 years!
3 years ago they were sec 1s and i was teaching them like how i was teaching this sec 1..
how time flies.
feel old? i guess so, but not old enough.
then we shifted to the classroom cos there was timpani tutoring in the band room.
i'm not exactly a timpani person.
that's why i decided to add it to my 2009 new year resolution, to conquer timpani. [my resolution list got lost anyway so it's just whatever comes to my mind, hahaha]
i have mallets and timpani to conquer this year...
conquer meaning, to improve on it, not become professional lah.
HAHA i want can wait long long. long queue sia.
somehow today reminded me of the good ol' days we had..
the sectionals days we had. forever self-entertaining.
i guess i would never wanna leave there if i had a choice.
even if we have outings, it's never gonna be us, the drumsticks and the band room anymore.
it's like how regina was telling me that day that they tore down the clock tower with the markings we left behind with our drumsticks on the floor. when we go "tok tok tok" with our sticks and disturbing choir practices outside aesthetics studio 2.
oh yes, so i requested to do our usual 552, 554 and 664 exercise today. i miss!
memories memories.. i'll keep it. (:
anyway, i took this last week when they were doing marching. haha bored person.
the holding school if any ex-cedarian haven't went back for donkey years wants to know how it looks like..
bought this cheese sausage w/ bread and oreo vanilla opposite cedar for dinner. [surprisingly it lasted me for about 6 hours before i ate cup noodles just to satisfy my itching mouth]
headed down for sws practice.
shocking, the section was very big today. lol.
9 percussionists (tentative?) are gonna play for beautiful sunday? o.O
anyway rehearsed through half the repertoire for beautiful sunday.
stars and stripes was fun somehow :D
we had 3 snares and woohoo shiokness!

ahh so i took 100 home after so long..
bus's cheaper? i don't know.
