HAPPY PAINT FRIDAY.
Hello Eva and Kristin and all.
Thank you for hosting as always.
Hello Eva and Kristin and all.
Thank you for hosting as always.
I'm very seriously thinking of learning to paint the lay of the land, bldgs., houses, etc. It's difficult for me to do this and don't know why. So with my new journal that I have doodled color on, found faces within, I will also try to draw bldgs, etc. Perhaps I can find these images in the doodles as well.
Anyway....
Anyway....
These are the pages I am finding faces in. I posted these pages on PPF last week. The book had to be taken apart since binding is something I know nothing about. The holes started tearing so now it needs support. There are some metal rings around here some where that can hold the book together.
Here is my 2014 journal with some of the faces I am meeting as I'm peering into the cardboard type paper. Most of these faces look like spooks, but that is what I am seeing. They were uploaded as "best for web" in order to cut back on the resolution size. When I called this my doodle book, that's exactly what was meant. These faces are just that, doodles that I seen lurking in the paint. The watercolor was just smudged around and lo and behold, they appeared. How weird is that?

Next though I'll try to find little houses or buildings or just the lay of the land. There you have it, a few pages of my latest journal. Hope everyone is enjoying the new year as we are. You won't find me much online as it will be just on Fridays. I need to get my house in order as too many things have been accumulated. I'm committed to PPF so will be posting on Fridays, but other than that, maybe a Haiku post in-between from time to time.
It's my birthday this coming Sunday so we will do something. Husband always has something in store for me. I already know what he's buying me. Tee hee. I didn't peek but he knows my likes and dislikes. The Red Lobster will be visited. We do that every year, for both of our birthdays. Sometimes I even have a Long Island Iced Tea, I think that's what it's called. By the time I finish eating, my head is buzzing. tee hee. Lucky I don't have to drive. My husband has a regular raspberry tea.
In the meantime, happy weekend and PPF to you all.
Happy early birthday! I love these faces especially the first close up one. Love the way is melts.

Happy Birthday!! Red Lob used to be our Anniversary destination. Then when we didn't have kids at home anymore, we would go quite often for lunch on Saturdays. Now that my grandson lives with us again (his girlfriend is always here too) its a special occasion destination again.
ReplyDeleteLove your journal. First I thought the faces were all sad..then I saw some smiles and whimsies. I think you'll draw some great Lay of the Land!
Have a great weekend and a really nice Birthday.
