I chose to use Devastasia. I have had her printed for some time as I really wanted to color her but never was the right occasion. Her boots aren't technically pumps but they are pump-like.

It's time for another fun and fabulous Blog Hop over on the Mo's Dream Team blog!! It's our chance to get together and create projects based upon a theme to give a little inspiration.

This month Pop's is hosting and she is asking for us to use the color pink in our projects!

It's rare indeed for me to not use pink, so this was a breeze! I used the adorable Fairy with Buttercup from the 3 Baby Fairies, which you can find at Mo's Digital Pencil.

I used the Fairy Rhymes paper pad from Prima and lots of Shabby Pink Frantage and Pearl Pen! I used the sketch for this months Live and Love Craft challenge.

You should have come from Anneke's blog if you are hopping along. If not you will want to start at Pop's blog. Your next stop after me is Kaly, so keep hopping! And don't forget to leave comments at each stop as there are prizes to be won somewhere along the way!!

Wee Witch

***Scroll down to see my Kenny K post with the new OMG Release***

Good morning again! I have my last post as a June Guest Designer for MarkerPop! :(  I have really enjoyed being a part of the MarkerPop! family this month. What a fun blog hop we had, right? Everyone did an amazing job and it was so fun reading everyone's lovely comments about Hedgie.

Anyways, on to my card! I have used the cutest witch ever, Hazel, from Wee Stamps. Sylvia Zet is an amazing artist!

I used an older paper pad by Carta Bella: All Hallow's Eve. I got out the amazing Cheery Lynn flourish again and cut out a gate with The Greeting Farm Gate. I cut the gate out twice: once with some off white paper from the pad and another time with black. I stacked them for a shadow effect to help make it pop off the page. I then popped them again with foam tape. It's a super fun die as I can cut it up like I did for this card or leave it whole for a different look. (I am excited to try both dies on some 12x12 layouts I have planned with which to decorate my daughter's room.) The dies are of a size that that makes them very versatile for different projects in my opinion.
I used Wild Orchid Craft flowers, of course, and some gauze I bought at the 99 cent store to finish it off.

I am super duper happy with this card. I seem to really like the purple cards I make. Not sure if it's the color or a coincidence, lol. I hope you all like my wee witch card as well and please leave comments if it strikes you, as I love to hear what you all think of my efforts!

Have a fantastic rest of your weekend!

Please?

Hello all! I have my Mo's Dream Team card to share with you today. I have used another adorable and very expressive image called, 'Please' available to download at Mo's Digital Pencil.
I have used Wild Orchid Craft roses, Sweetheart blossoms, and a Cosmos daisy. I used some old paper from My Mind's Eye's Madison Avenue paper pad. I tried my hand at making some fun little pinwheels and tucked them behind the flowers. They are so easy to make; cut a square and make slits from the corners down close to the center and fold over every other corner to meet at the center! No need for a die! I added pearls to the centers for a little extra something. On the background paper I wanted to emphasize the crown, so I pulled back the layer covering it and added some glitter glue to the crown. I love that you can still see the word 'pretty' at the top and 'J'adore' at the bottom of the card. Perfect for a special little girl on a birthday or other special day!

The Copic markers I used are the same usual suspects:
Skirt- E70, 74, E57, E59
Top- R81, 83, 85, E11, Y11, Y15
Ground- W1, 3, 5

Say you like her, "Please"!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
Danielle:)

A Little Birdie Told Me

Today I am honored to be Guest Designier for June over on the MarkerPop! blog! For my first card this month I am sharing a card I made for a friend's birthday. She loves animals and soft colors.

I used Prima Madeline paper pad and Prima flowers from the Nature Garden collection. The Cherry blossom, Chrysanthemum and Sweetheart blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The gorgeous flourish is a Cheery Lynn flourish that you can find here. I made the tile with the butterfly and dyed the seam binding with Tattered Rose Distress Inks.

I used Copic markers to color my sweet Tiddly Inks image:

The clouds were done using a cloud template I made, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a sponge.

As always, thanks for stopping by and I love to read your wonderful comments!

Bubbles

Happy weekend! I have a card to share I made for Mo's Dream Team blog using the super sweet Bubbles Girl which can be found at Mo's Digital Pencil!

I love how carefree and innocent she is. Mo Manning digis are amazing in how they can evoke such powerful feeling and movement in his drawings! This one reminds me to enjoy the everyday and not take life too seriously as we seem to do as we get older. I colored her up with Copic markers and used My Mind's Eye paper.
I thought to continue the bubble idea to my sentiment stamps. Not the exact words I wanted, but they were the best choice ones I had that fit nicely in the circles.
I used the Sketchy Girls sketch even though the challenge is closed just for a jumping off point. The photo makes the card have a weird hue. It's nicer in person. I need photo taking tips. If anyone has some, please, I need help!

Copic colors used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E51, E53, E57, E59
Clothes: Y11, Y15, E00, E11, E13
BG10, BG11, BG15
Wood: E00, E11, E13, E15, E18

Tea Time

Woohoo! So, this is my first day to post over on the Mo's Dream Team blog and I am like a kid on her first day at school: nervous and excited! This card is using the adorable Teacup Fairy that I had been eyeing for several months over at Mo's Digital Pencil.
I used the gorgeous Prima Lyric paper pad. I only have the A4 paper pad, but I want it in all sizes- it is so beautiful. All the flowers are Wild Orchid Craft flowers which I have used watered down paint to color match my papers. The doily clock is cut from the paper and I have stamped a Whimsy sentiment and attached it to a small wooden spool.  I frantaged allover with Shabby Pink.
The tile in the upper left corner I made from the Prima Fairy Rhymes paper. I went a little crazy after watching livartnow on youtube. She made elaborate beautiful tiles, but I went the easy way like ItripledogdareU and cut pieces of paper to fit the chipboard squares I had cut down and then glossy accented the top. Super fun!
I had a request from a lovely crafter, Guylaine, to add the Copic colors that I use. I have done it in the past, but I sometines I would post in a rush or I would feel like I am writing the same things over again. I have about 60 Copics, so I don't have a lot of color choices. I am constantly wanting more, but, as I am sure it is for most, the cost is a deterrent. So here goes,

Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E51, E53, E57
Wings: Y11, Y15 and Glitter Glue
Flowers: RV000, R20, R22, R35
Leaves: YG03, YG63
Background and Shading: RV000, BG10, W1, BV31  and Colorless Blender
The background was a mishmash because those are the lightest colors I have at the moment:(

Thanks for stopping by!

Sending Birthday Wishes

Hello again! I have a card to share today! I made this card for the DT call going on at Mo's Dream Team. I am leaving it to the last minute as I have been super busy with my boys' baseball practices and games! It was everyday last week-can't wait for the season to end!

Here is my card:
I just love this image! She is adorable and always fun to color! I used MME paper and the tags are freebie printables from Prima's Friday Freebies on Facebook from several weeks ago. I love to check in an see what they have. Not too long back they had Nature Garden notecards and I was so excited as that collection seems to be my go to paper pad!
The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, the stamp is from Whimsy and I colored my girl with Copics.
I hope you all like her as much as I do.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Steampunk Fun

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since my last card post. How sad:(  But, it's Sunday and that means another challenge over on the Kenny K blog. Seeing as it's Team A's turn to inspire for this challenge, I have a card to share! If you haven't guessed by my post title the challenge is
Steampunk

Our sponsors this week are

Kenny K

with a rubber stamp for the winner

and Marianne Designs
with an awesome prize package

And here is my card using the sassy Jayne Jetpack:
I used the Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante papers for my color inspiration even though all I used of the paper is the postage stamp girl image I tucke dinto a Tim Holtz pin. I have very few papers as I was late getting in on the Graphic 45 obsession, so I am hoarding the few I have and constantly looking for more. No luck locally or online so far:( Any suggestions welcome!

I used my Silhouette to make all the fun gears, which I then frantaged and also used some homemade copper and gold embossing powder. I made the flower using blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts that I colored with the same Copic colors that I colored the image, then stacked and shaped. I also frantage'd the flower in antique gold, as well as the Tim Holtz gear in the center. The brown bling flourish is Kaiserkraft. I am a little disappointed with the DCWV paper I used, as it doesn't look as nice in the photo as it does IRL. Should've broke down and used the G45 papers! Lastly, I stenciled some gears around the image using Vintage Photo and Frantage'd some more!

I hope you all like my efforts and join in on this super fun challenge! Don't forget to hop on over to see what the rest of the Krafty Krew have created for you. I am, again, blown away with there talent!

Kenny K's New Release and a New Challenge!

Good  morning! We have a new challenge over at the Kenny K's Krafty Krew blog for you! Tic tac toe; choose any column, row or diagonal!

Our generous sponsors this week:

Kenny K $20 Gift Certificate

Yes, three awesome prizes are up for grabs!

Not only that, Kenny K Downloads is releasing some brand new, fabulous and fun images and the Krafty Krew have some inspiration for you this week using the fun new images!

I had the pleasure of coloring up Tomboy Trouble. I used a scrapbook layout by Keren Tamir as my inspiration for the card's design. I just loved her layout with the layers, curled paper and brick stenciling.

I used the first line down: flowers, lots of layers, swirls and glitter. The paper is Prima's Nature Garden, the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the swirl stamp I used is Inkadinkadoo. The flower swirl stamp was causing me issues: I could not get it to stamp with white. I finally had to go over the stamped swirl with white gel pen to make it more visible in the top left and bottom right corners, although after adding everything else they are back to being barely noticeable!

With my Cameo, I created a brick template to stencil with gesso on the design paper and on the images background with Milled Lavender DI. Not bad, although I am hoping to buy the Crafter's Workshop one soon and maybe a few others ;) I also used the Cameo to make the die cut corner pieces on either side of my image. I frantaged them with aged white or shabby white, something like that. It has flecks of gold and gold glitter amongst the chunky white. I also frantaged the wood heart that I stamped the sentiment on after white washing it with white paint.
In between the design paper and the corrugated cardboard that I gessoed, I stuck some gauze that I bought at the 99 cent store- a nice substitute since I didn't have cheesecloth. I also added some underneath each of the flower clusters along with some punched out leaves and curled flower stem wires.

Here's a closeup of the spunky Tomboy Colored in with Copics! She screams for a fun/funky design and I knew I wanted something different like the brick background I finally decided on. Can't wait to make another one using paint splatters in the background!

I hope you all find some inspiration in my creation today and don't forget to check out what the other talented DT members have created!

******Have a great day!*******

Uptown Angel

Good morning! It is time for another challenge over on the Kenny K Krafty Krew blog and it's an easy one everyone will love:

Die Cuts and/or Punches

We are sponsored by Kenny K with a Kenny K rubber stamp for one winner

and Flonz with a $20 gift voucher
for a second winner!

I really enjoyed this one and got out my Tim Holtz tattered florals die to make some flowers! For my image I used the cute Uptown Angel digi from Kenny K Downloads. I followed the sketch for the CLP challenge, which I really enjoyed.

The DP is My Mind's Eye Indie Saffron. The smaller flowers are made with a circle punch and a flower punch from Michael's. I added pearls to the centers and pearl stamens from Wild Orchid Crafts to the big flower that was cut using the tattered florals die. The other embellies include Recollections pearl swirls and a 7 Gypsies swirl metal paper clip to old my sentiment.

I used my Copics to color Uptown Angel and I love how the whole card turned out, It's so bright and fun!

Don't forget to check out what the other creations the Krafty Krew have for you! Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Grow a Little Love

Another good morning to you all! I hope you didn't miss my post earlier where I shared my card for Kenny K's new challenge: Squares! This week at Stamptacular Sunday we are challenging you to make something inspired by Spring!

We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps with a $10 Gift Voucher!

For my card I used one of the adorable Wryn stamps by Tiddly Inks called 'Grow a Little Love'.

I got out my Copics to color her up. The coloring was fun, but I struggled with the card. There were certain elements I was obsessed  with using really wanted to use, so I did my best to make them work. I used a wood heart that I white washed and inked, a Tim Holtz pin, and some MMW paper scraps. I used a Whimsy stamp for the sentiment and WOC flowers.
I'm down to slim pickings on my flowers because I've been putting off my order as several items are out of stock :( I'll soon have to get really creative without them and make more CAS cards or something, lol.  I added some white paint to my flowers to tone the yellow down. I seem to be into adding white paint to everything lately!

Here's a close up of sweet Wryn:

The lovely ladies over at the Stamptacular Sunday blog have some more 'Spring' creation to inspire you with so don't forget to check them out and join in on the fun!

Happy Easter!

Heidi

Hi all! Today I have my last card to share with you as a March Guest Designer for Wee Stamps. I am bummed that it will soon be over, but I had so much fun this month coloring up and sharing Sylvia Zet's super amazing and adorable images! I will definitely be buying more!
For today's card, I have used sweet 'Heidi'. She and all Wee Stamps will are will be also available as rubber stamps at Whimsy Stamps.

I have colored her up with Distress Ink. I used random papers and distressed them with walnut stain. I used Fran-tage Shabby Gold, I think (it's chunky white with bits of gold!), to the edge of some of the papers and the blue flowers to give them a snowy look.

I've also used some Liquid Pearls Platinum on the falling snow. The flowers are WOC, as are the pearl stamens. I am drawn to neutral colors with a pop of color, so I am really pleased with this card. I hope you all like it, too! Thanks for looking and have a great Easter weekend!

Fairy Fae

Good morning fellow crafters! We have a new challenge for you at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog:
Fuzzy Friends

We are being sponsored this week by Magnolia-licious with a surprise prize!

I had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous stamp by Delicious Doodles called 'Fairy Fae'. I colored her up with my Copics and used my favorite paper pad of the moment: Prima's Nature Garden! I can't seem to get bored with it like the rest! I guess it's time to by some new paper, so I can get some variety!

I used Wild Orchid Craft roses and Prima flowers and some Say it in Crystals bling. I printed the digital image again and colored two of the butterflies and cut them out for some extra decorations around the card and called it finished. I wanted it pretty simple to focus the attention on 'Fairy Fae'.

I hope you all like it and I want to say a big thank you to all who are following me and commenting. It means a lot to hear such wonderful comments! Have a wonderful Sunday and don't forget to join in the fun at Stamptacular Sunday.
