Don't Mess with Grandpa
- An elderly grandfather threw a man off his roof, ending an hours-long standoff in which the agitated suspect jumped from home to home in a southern California neighborhood on Tuesday.
The suspect was on top of homes in a La Puente neighborhood for hours, refusing commands from deputies and crisis negotiators asking him to come down.
Capt. Tim Murakami, of the Industry sheriff's station, said the standoff ended when 83-year-old homeowner Wilford Burgess "got tired of his games and pushed him off."
There's video at the link, which is funny as hell.

Building needed to be taller!
Police had to waste five hours negotiating with the criminal so they wouldn't hurt his feelings and get sued. Pathetic!
Throw him off the roof...done!
LOL BRWHAAAAA. If only he could go to police hq.
My name is Mister B...and the B is for BADASS!!! Lol
Stand your roof law
How do you like it now when people
fight back?
He fucked up the man's roof for hours.
Had every right to be pushed off.
Now get off my fucking lawn!

OFF THE TOPIC....
That didn't take long for the carnage to start. Welcome to the new police department COPA. No stops = no ISR today. Now where did I put my yellow and red tape.
Now I'm Grandpa...
Years ago one night we were chasing some fool across roofs on a commercial street I the 10th District. The idiot tries to take a running jump between two buildings and didn't quite make it. SPLAT! So he goes to the hospital and I get interviewed by a news reporter. I said something to the effect that he must have seen two many Batman movies and thought he could do his own stunts.
This gave the media something to publish before anyone accused us of throwing him off the roof.
Most excellent work! Love it.
The sheriff thanked him for doing what 'they couldn't do". God forbid if law enforcement lay their hands on a criminal. It's only going to get worse.
Grandpa kicked ASS!
All I can say is "OLD SCHOOL".
Way to go Old Dude...You STILL got game...Kudos..
Some lawyer will offer to help the offender sue the homeowner and the sheriff dept.
Home roof's matter.
If a copper had ended it the same way there'd be headlines, marches, suspensions, firings etc.
That's how ass backwards things have become for us.
Can someone explain to me why law enforcement is expected to spend hours trying to negotiate with or otherwise "talk down" people who are determined to kill themselves? This happens here in Atlanta from time to time when they will stop traffic on a major interstate for hours while the cops "negotiate" with someone who is threatening to jump from an overpass. I can see stopping the traffic under the overpass for a few minutes to keep innocent drivers from being killed, but why don't they stop the traffic then tell the jumper, "OK, either jump or get down from there." If they don't jump, arrest them and get them out of there.
I agree with the Grandpa. "Get off my roof, you idiot!"
Our grandparents didn't put up with the shit that happens today. They didn't listen to liberal democrats either.
Good Job Grandpa!

G'pa is black.
The offender is white.
What if it was reversed?
Good to know there are some good people left in this world, willing to do the right thing when others hands are tied by our current social climate. Hope they have a fundraiser to repair his car.
"Stay off my roof law"....we should have this for taggers!
I'd like to buy that man a Geritol!
Grandpa used deadly force for trespass to land, damage to property?
Offender is a mental.
Grandpa is a hero?
The police knew they could not push the offender.
Grandpa took the law into his own hands & may have
killed the mental.
The mental's family should sue grandpa for his house
a give the house to the mental.
You all know this is 2017 not 1957.
I saw the video and now I'm feeling kind of traumatized. Is the roof okay? No damaged shingles or gutters or anything?
(OT) look over here these grandpa's are so scared right now the liberal band U2 will not go to St. Louis because they are scared they're part of the problem causing all the anti-police nonsense:

The party's over. Been over for years.
"I'm packin' inside my house."
That's gonna get him in trouble in CA.
