Sandi showcases Lucy with our 'Be Mine' kit

Good morning!
Sandi loves Lucille Ball and often showcases this amazing woman in her layouts!
She used the back side of the All You Need paper from Blue Fern Studios Heartland collection as her base layer and then fussy cut from the Kiss Kiss paper and Love Notes papers! Her layers were built with Love Notes, Ephemera from Kaisercraft, flowers, cheesecloth (stash) and lace, all from the Kits.
She was thrilled to incorporate some of the sweet Prills from the Creativity add-on. Her florals are mix of Kit flowers and other from the Flower add-on and the background has some stencil work and the addition of some of the Irresisitible Texture Spray from the Creativity add-on.

Sandi loves clocks, so she went big on this one from the ephemera pack and also incorporated another decorative piece to add Lucy's name, the date of the photo and the copyright holder of the photo.

February challenge and more from Laura

Good morning!

Every month I host a challenge in the Facebook Community and this month is a fun and simple challenge!

the rules are simple:
*create any multi photo layout....photos can be any size but there must be 2 or more
*must be new and created for this challenge
*paper only please (no digital)
*please upload your layout for this challenge into this album
*if you create a layout using any of our kits you will receive an extra ballot
Melinda will be providing a $10 gift certificate for the randomly drawn winner

Here is my example

I used lots of the awesome Graphic 45 papers and tags here....

I fussy cut a lot of images and layered them for dimension and visual interest

One of the things I love about the Graphic 45 papers is the layering possibilities....

I fussy cut some of the cards from the papers and used them in my layering

so have some fun and join in!  Place your layout in this album before February 28th!

My next layout I decided to have some fun with the Simple Stories papers from the coordinating paper add on

This paper is so cool!
I also used the January 1st sketch from Stuck?!

I layered papers from the add on and some very cool momenta small gold doilies from the main kit and stuck them in.

I created a cluster of flowers using some flowers from the floral add on and previous kits and these really neat Ken Oliver metal gears from the main kit.
Also in the elements add on is Prima Christine Adolph Adhesive Rub Ons and Prima Rub On Foil Sheets - Shine On!  These are both awesome products that I am enjoying playing with!  I did not want it to be pristine so when I applied to gold foil I did not rub it completely so it looked rough and pieces were missing.

I also used a stencil, embossing paste and embossing powder.

I added a second little cluster to the side.

Mixed Media Monday - 02.06.17

Good morning!
Welcome to another mixed media Monday post!
This week I have two amazing layouts from Tatiana to share!

She cut leaves and butterflies from Graphic 45 paper and also added flowers and leaves which were stamped on the Kaisercraft cork sheet.

The chipboard was covered with one layer of gold embossing powder. She also used Graphic 45 chipboard in my layers, Petaloo flower, doilies from the kit and flower from the November kit.

When layering was completed She added texture with glitter from the previous kit, texture paste, liquid drops and Lindy's Magicals. On the final step she added splashes.

This time she combined two different papers from the kit, and added small cards cut from one of the sheet included in the kit. She also added fussy cut flowers and branches, doilies and cogs.

She also added to her background foil flower using rub ons. Chipboard was covered with one layer of embossing powder.

She used liquid drops from the current and previous kits and splashes with different mists.

Kathy is rocking the Botanique kit!

Good morning...
Great photos are the centerpiece of wonderful layouts!
Kathy captured her grandson's sweet expression in this awesome photo and created an amazing layout to showcase it, using our Scraps Of Darkness January Botanique kit.

She started with the flip side of one of the Simple Stories papers that was included in the Coordinating Paper Add-On, it's very white with little grey dots. She sprayed it with lots of different mists from Lindy's in different shades of teal and silver then stamped around the page with various stamps to create a linear focus.  She also used some herringbone washi tape in various places and splattered some orange and black inks then repeated the same process to create a border around the page.

She ripped one of the Graphic 45 "Plant Kingdom" papers (black) along one side and placed in the middle of the page.  She created a photo mat using one of the sentiment tags printed on the "Beautiful World" Graphic 45 papers.  She layered another sentiment tag on the right side of the layout with 2 other papers from the collection.

She fussy cut a large and medium size clock from a Kaisercraft paper from her stash and she created one flower cluster in the center of the page using flowers from her stash.   She also used a brad and a little twine bow.  She made two tags and used a G45 chipboard piece (mushroom) from the Elements Add On for one of the tags, and a Graphic 45 die cut from the Main Kit (butterfly).  On the right side next to the cluster, she used another G45 chipboard from the (Elements Add On) and put the word "NOT" on it to go with the "Happy" script chipboard underneath.  "Happy" came in a previous SOD kit.

Beneath the collage is the large clock where she adhered a large butterfly which she fussy cut from the Graphic 45 "Monarch Majesty" paper.  There are so many gorgeous butterflies printed on that paper, just perfect for fussy cutting!
