HAPPY BIRTHDAY with Tilda with Love Cake and Venice Background...

Hello everyone!!
It is Magnolia Down Under's 4th Birthday!!

So of course we are having a BIRTHDAY challenge..

For my card today I have made a frame for my Venice background image. Then I have popped it 2 different times in 2 difference place to give it a picture frame look. Also if you look at the bottom of the frame you will see that I have cut a fun little design with the *NEW*Doo Bee Pops Honeycomb paper

I have pulled it out and used it like a trim! I love the look of it on the frame done this way!! It is fun to touch!!!

Ink Pads: Antique Linen, Lipstick (Distress Inks by Ranger)

Misc clutter: Doo Bee Pops Honeycomb paper, Paper roses, pearls, cheese cloth, felt, wooden button, Metal photo corner that I have painted with acrylic paints.
Dies: Go Create card shape, Tim Holtz On the Edge,  Memory Box Riviera Corner

Just stuff used: Foam dots, foam tape, Sewing Machine, computer for my sentiment

I hope you have on your blinders (sunglasses) !! It's a bright card!

 The bright colors are not the norm for me. I also wanted it to be clean and straight lined. This is as close as I could get to that for me. I truly love to look at the ladies cards out there that can do CAS cards. It is a strugle for me. So today is my attempt at a CAS card.

I have used Ellie's Birthday, and then used 2 different sentiments called Warm and Fuzzy Birthday Sentiments .. 

Stamps: Ellie's Birthday, Warm & Fuzzy Birthday Sentiments ... Available at the Little Darlings Rubber stamps store 
Papers: All from my scrap drawer!! Yay!! 
Cardstock: Bazzill 
Ink: Memento, Copic Markers, Tim Holtz Distress Ink around paper edges 
Accessories: Tulle, 2 ribbons, paper flowers, pearls. 
I have used my sewing machine. Notice the 2 ribbons layered together just under my image.

I have made a tag today with a fun fabric and trim cupcake pincushion.
The pin cushion has a big bow on top with crocheted pink cherries. YUMMY!!
It is not my groups turn this week..So I am joining the fun with the other group as I had this project done and ready to go on the blog today anyway. Fit the challenge perfect!!

This is a birthday gift for a special and precious person in our lives. On the back of the tag I have hand written personal Birthday wish.

Misc clutter: Paper flowers, 40+ year old buttons, sewing machine button, xoxo acrylic that I have painted and then inked, , doily, hand cut spool for bakers thread out of cherry wood paper, I have added stickles to parts of my image and on the flowers.

The TH acrylic tag is put on with bakers thread. I have done the sentiment with m computer and glued it to the back with Ranger Studio Mattee.

This is not my normal type of image to work with but just couldn't resit as it is so FUN!!!

The papers are......MME, Reminisce, PJK Designs, 7 Gypies.

I have used black leather strapping with metal eyelets and put some covered brads on it also. I have used Maya Road Fresh Chipboard swirls. I have painted it and then sanded it a bit for a distressed look. I Prima flower with cover brad, Lace from Craftbrulee. I have used my watercolor pencils and copic markers to color my image and added a few perals just for fun!

Colour Create Challenge .........and IncyWincy Designs

Good morning,

I am posting early today. I am on my way up to the room that my son just moved out of and plan on getting it painted today and the guest bed moved out of my craft studio. I'm now going to have MORE ROOM and it will be just all my crafty things. :o) Yesterday I had a great mail day. I re ceived my cute little Enchanted Lily Stamps by Pink Cat Studio. I can't wait to get them mounted and inked up.

The card that I am posting today is for the Color Create Challenge week #18. I am also posting this over at IncyWincy Designs. Stop over there and see the new stamp. She is just beautiful.
