Oldies but Goodies Sugar Nellie Blog hop!!

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!

First of all if you have hopped here from Donalda's Blog then you are right on track. If not you may want to start at the beginning. So jump on over to the Sugar Nellie Blog.
My card features one of my favorite stamps of all time. The name of this stamps is SWEET & SASSY. She is so cute with her big hat and daisies in it!! Her bare feet are just so cute for those springtime cards. I have paper pieced her cute little holter top. I have colored her with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. I have used a mixture of papers. Pretty eyelet trim with blue ribbon running though it. I have added some flowers, buttons, pearls a few butterfly charms and 2 heart stick pins. I have to tell you that fun part was seeing the card come to life with the cute little red dot ribbon that I made photo corners out of. I have used my distressed inks and also sewn the card.
This card I have made to fit a few challenges:

This SWEET & SASSY stamp is the one you will receive if you are the winner of my blog candy!!! So don't forget to leave a comment so that you will be in the drawing.

**********************-----------------------**********************

I did do a second card that is post over on the SUGAR NELLIE BLOG.

On that card I used *BELIEVE*. She is also a favorite of mine. I did use a mixture of papers ribbon, key and lock charms, a few brads and I did do black photo corners out of the ribbon. I love the look of it on both of these cards. The image has been painted with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. I also added few gold stickles to the image. This card has also been sewn. The red flowers I did used my retro Med size punch.
This second card I made for:
Paper Take Weekly : Check this Out. Use some gingham or checks on your project.

Here is a list of the blogs in order if you just happen to get lost on the hop.

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY TODAY!!!

I have made several items to show just how fun this little stamp named "CURTY" can be. Please scroll down and have a closer look at all of the fun techniques I have used on these fun items. At the end of my post before you jump to the next blog please leave me a comment to be put into a drawing to win the Windowed Boxalope and card. I will draw the winner on Tuesday and post on my blog. You will have 3 days to get in touch with me and then I will redraw to give someone else a chance. I will ship anywhere in the world. I would love it if you would become a follower of my blog but not necessary to win.

Here we go.........................

Oh I have to tell you that I have had a VERY VERY hard time with my photos today. :o( sorry....
Windowed Boxalope and card:
This card is almost 6x6 in size. The Windowed boxalope is just a tad bigger than that. I have made my Windowed boxalope with my Scor-pal and covered the boxalope inside and out. I have added a window so that you can see the pretty little *Curtsy* image that I did add wings to. Isn't it beautiful? To make the window I used my nesties, and for the clear window I used clear aceate. (sp) I tied a bow with tulle around the whole Windowed boxalope. I have added Kaiser pearls, prima flowers, dew drops, rhinestones, rhinestone button and punched a pine sprig. I also have added that cute little pewter present charm with tag *for you*. For the card I have colored that sweet little *Curtsy* image with my watercolor pencils and copics. I have added butterfly wings to this image to show you just how fun she can be. :o) I added tiny pearls to the dress for buttons. I have used stickles on the wings and she has been popped with foam tape for that 3-D look. As you can see I have added dew drops, pearls, prima flowers and rhinestone button and tulle, blue antique trim and some pink trim as my fun embellies. The card has also been stitched inside and out. On the inside I have added a Sweet saying on the left side and left a big space on the right side for your own little message. Pink trim and flower with metal brad have been added. Can you see those cute little bows on the corners of the mats??

Box Purse: I found a box to cover with these yummy papers that I have put together to create a fun little purse. The handle is tubing with a tulle bow, roses, beaded key chain to hold those fun charms. I have also put a few Swarovski crystals onto the paper in spots. As for this wonderful image I have made into a cameo with my nesties and to give it that old worn look I added crackle accent. I am not so happy with the heavyness of the crackle. It did make the edges curl a tad so it doesn't look as much like a cameo as I would have liked. I have then added flowers with pearls and another pewter heart charm and that very fun *JUST BECAUSE* ticket. The inside of the purse and the bottom have also all been covered with pretty papers.

Candle:
I have had so much fun painting on candles. I tell you that painting on that tissue paper is a job but I feel that it is well worth the effort. The image I have painted onto tissue with my distressed inks and then heat set it into the candle. I then I took my acrylic paint and painted little pink dots all over that blue dress. I have also painted the wings with those fun sparkly stickles. Then add some old vintage trim then with some velvet ribbon. I have added prima roses, rhinestones, pearls, and a beautiful purse charm. The big bow is made from tulle.

Matchbook note pad:
I have covered a note book to make it look like a book of matches. I have then inked all of the edges and sanded them all to make this piece look just a tad old and worn. The image has been painted with my watercolor pencils and copic pens. I have chosen to paper piece the dress. Then I have colored and shaded. I have also cut the image out very careful and popped it up with foam tape. Embellished with flowers, hand cut heart, crystal heart sheer ribbon, pearls, acrylic bubble.
