WAW201 ~ Chronicles 16:11 ~ Seek the Lord and His Strength

It is officially the middle of another week!  And you know what Wednesday means...  it's time for another great challenge at Word Art Wednesday!

Be sure to check out the Word Art Wednesday site for all of the details including this week's digital scripture, how to link your creation AND info on some fabulous prizes!
We appreciate our sponsors so very much!  Please take a few moments to thank those who generously provided our prizes this week!

A very special thank you to Simon Says Stamp who graciously provided me some goodies to play with this month!  They are having a huge celebration this month.  Be sure to check out their BLOG to check it out!  As part of this great event also known as #STAMPtember, I have been given a few products to share with you on today's card...

I started out with an A2 Side Folding Card provided by Simon Says Stamp and added a layer of diagonal print designer paper.  I wanted my snowflake die to pop so I chose a complementary DP that was a bit less "busy" and cut it to fit nicely under the die.  The die (also from Simon Says stamp) is super dainty and looks great over this pattern.  I can't wait to pair a couple of these dies together over an entire card panel to see what it looks like!  I added a feel different size pearls to the panel (lifted up with dimensional foam) and printed today's scripture on white card stock.  I trimmed it to the desired size and used a simple corner rounder to dress up opposite edges!  I really love the bold look of these gem!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  And don't forget to check out #STAMPtember this month at Simon Says Stamp!  They have some wonderful new products to share!

And please join in with us this week at Word Art Wednesday's challenge where the designs are always family friendly!  Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings...

WAW199 ~ Wondrous Things ~

It's the very first Wednesday in September!  And you know what Wednesday means...  it's time for another fabulous, fun and inspirational challenge at Word Art Wednesday.

So I printed today's scripture on white card stock and die cut it along with the rich pumpkin layer.  The card base (A2 Side Folding Card) was provided by Simon Says Stamp along with this beautiful background stamp.  The stamp is Leaves Background #SSS101529.  For this project, I inked the leaves with several shades of Memento ink including Cantaloupe, Tangelo, Potter's Clay and Rhubarb Stalk.  I then used a bit of the Rhubarb Stalk and Potter's Clay to ink the edges.  I layered the stamped image on pumpkin card stock cut slightly smaller than the card base (Item #A2SIDE10).

So don't forget to play along this week with our Word Art Wednesday challenge and don't forget to check out #Stamptember!  It promises to be fun!

Hugs and Blessings....

This week I decided to go with a bee theme featuring this powerful scripture from the Book of Joel...

I started with a white card stock base measuring 5.5 x 3.5 inches and added a black mat.  I used fun bee themed papers for the base and center panel and printed my scripture panel on white CS.  I stamped the bee image, coloring and die cutting before adding glitter glue to his wings.
It's a clean design this week.  But I sure love the color combo!

I decided to use the MOJO sketch you see here...

WAW159 ~ Psalm 100:4 ~ Thanksgiving

It's time for another fabulous, fun and inspirational challenge

Be sure to check out the Word Art Wednesday site for all of the details including this week's digital scripture, how to link your creation AND info on some fabulous prizes!

We appreciate our sponsor's generosity so very much!  Please take a few moments to thank those who provided our prizes this week!

This week we are visiting the book of Psalms and receiving words of Thanksgiving...

This is an amazing scripture!  Thanksgiving should be every day and not just one day each year.  This challenges my heart on so many levels.  When I pray, do I have the right attitude...  gratitude and thankfulness?  Do my actions show my gratitude and bless others?  Am I truly thankful for each and every blessing?  Do I recognize everything is a blessing from above and not because of something I have done?  AND I don't deserve any of those things?  WOW!

What a wonderful way to celebrate the middle of the week!  Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings...
