Throwback Thursday

Hello! It's Throwback Thursday again over at MyCreativeTime and the theme this week is to use any older cartridge with a "frame". For my super simple card today I used the fabulous Lacy Labels lite cricut cartridge. I cut out my image layers at 2.75 inches. The Wishing you comfort sentiment from the new set called Floral Sentiments. Ok, pop over to Emma's blog to see the rest of the awesome creations over there and to play along! You have until May 9th to link up your projects over there. :)

Birthday Wishes

Hello and happy Friday. Here is my last card for my guest designing with over at Everyday Cricut. I used my gypsy to weld the base together and create this card using the Lacy Labels cartridge. I LOVE that cartridge!!! Sorry the pics are so dark and horrible...
The birthday wishes sentiment from Emma's set called Polka Dot Surprise fit perfectly on the front and packs a big punch. ;)

A big THANK YOU to Melanie and Joy for allowing me to share my cricuty love on their awesome blog this week!!!

Birthday Wishes

My new Sew Easy tool that I ordered from HSN came the other day and here is the first card I've made with it. Since my beloved PaperTreyInk Kraft cardstock is SUPER thick I did have to re poke the holes, but it was still easy! I used twine from The Twinery for my stitching. The card base is from Lacy Labels and the bird is from Cindy Loo. The sentiment is from PaperTreyInk.com.

***TIP ALERT***
Have a Sew Easy? Grab it and shake it...Hear that??? That's the needle that comes with it! Hehehe Pop the top open to get it out. It's blunt so you won't stab your fingers while gettin' your stitch on. ;)

I'll be back tonight with another sneak for MarketStreetStamps.com

Peachy Keen Blog Hop!!!

Hello!!! I am SO happy it's finally hop day!!! I used the NEW PK-282 St. Patrick's Day set. I colored the super cute leprechaun head with my prismacolor colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. I then made him a body out of the gnome from the Freshly Picked cricut cartridge. I wanted to make him look like those little leprechaun costumes you see marching in St. Paddy's parades.
I heat embossed the FUNNY sentiment and the little shamrocks {also in the set} and colored them in with my sakura metallic green pen. I couldn't get a good picture, I swear it's shimmery and cool!

I attached the head with a wobble...although his head shakes the wrong way to answer the question asked in the sentiment! HAHAHAHAHa....ok, here's another card from another new set...

I used PK-283 Cheers for Green Beer set for this SUPER EASY card. I know it's kinda boring, but I felt like coloring him this afternoon! ☺ The super cute sentiment is from Emma's stamp set called..........I believe in Leprechauns.

and here's a card I had posted already made with PK-285 Mark and Sharen Love Frogs set.

and a side view to see his shiny crown...

Okie dokie...Giveaway time!!! I'm giving away PK-282 St. Patrick's Day!!! This is the set I used for my big headed leprechaun dude. ☺

Thinking of You

Hello and Happy Friday! I don't usually post personal stuff on here, but if you're the praying kind, we could sure use your prayers! My Father in law had a stroke on Sunday and was then admitted to a rehab facility to get better, but then he suffered a seizure and ended up back in the ICU. He is currently on a ventilator, which they say is sort of a preventative measure, but it is nevertheless terrifying! So, if you care to add him to your prayers, that would be greatly appreciated! Now, back to the craftiness! ;o) I made him a get well card, but haven't posted it....I will be sending this to my Mom in law as a little encouragement...I used the Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge for this card. That cartridge is just downright GORGEOUS! I love love love it!
Just a simple card. I added some pretty prima flowers, and gave the button centers. All papers are from PaperTreyInk.com. Well, I hope that you and yours have a FANTASTIC 4th of July weekend! Later Alligators!
