2 CAS Cards... Best Wishes and Thank you

Hi there!

It's been a while...
Went to the Art Specially Event last Saturday and it was a blast! Met some lovely friends and had the time of my life, feeling like a kid in a candystore :)
Unfortunately I had a terrible pain in the head all day, so didn't do any of the marvelous workshops, only looked and went home quite early. Last couple of years I go by train and take my bike with me so I can cycle from train to the event... always lovely to ride through an almost quiet forest early morning.
Unfortnately the trainride home was terrible.... had an hour extra traveltime...ah well... I've seen Amsterdam during that trip ;)

I'm already experimenting with my newly bought goodies and some projects will be soon on this blog *stay tuned*
My wallet enjoyed itself a lot, as Magnolia wasn't there, I didn't "need" *that* much and haven't spend that much like I normally do *whoopsie!*

Now I'd like to show you some cards I made recently, but haven't posted yet.
The challenges I'm playing in with each card, are under the card itself.

The first one is a card I cased from... myself :)
Oh yeah... I so loved the card I made earlier, I changed some things and here's the "improved" version of it...

Challenges:
- Crazy for CAS: Embellishments
- Card Mania: Diecuts/punches
- DigiSketchChallenge: Theme: Butterflies
- Lexi's Creations: Diecuts/Punches
- Hobbycutz: CAS
- Card Makin'Mamas: No patterned papers

And here's my second card.... with....

Oh yeah... some Bermuda Bay ink!! One of my fave blue colors and it's back in SU's next catalog *WHOOOWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP*
I was so very unhappy when those incolors disappeared, including melon mambo and razzberry fizz, but the last 2 are already back and now Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry will be as well... Finally, as I almost ran out of those last cardstockcolors and am so glad I didn't sell those inkpads *lol*

Anyways... back to the project... just a very, very CAS "Thank you"-card, as I needed some of these for people.

Challenges:
- CAS on Sunday: Thank you
- My Time to Craft: CAS One-layer

Thank you so much for coming over and taking the time to visit :)

Card for men feat. Penny Black

Hi all and welcome back!

Today I'd like to show you a card I made a couple of days ago.
When my computer didn't work, I colored loads of images, and this is one of them. Wanted to use my Penny Blacks a bit more. Love those little animals a lot :)

I made this card for a men's birthday, really CAS... really in need of birthdaycards at this moment.
Colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. TN1, TN2, CR9, OR1, IB2.

Added some glitter to the champagne as well :)

Anyways...this is it for today. Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on :)

Mojo Monday #287 -- Good photo :)

Hi all and welcome back!

Wow... this week's sketch at Mojo Monday has absolutely brought back my Mojo to create something within a reasonable time ;)

Already had these patterned papers on my desk and with a little help of the sketch, it turned into this card...

I'm not a "Blue-kinda"- person, but I totally love these colors combined with each other.
Love this one! :)

Anyways...thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on :)

Challenges:
- Mojo Monday: Sketch #287
- ABC Challenges: K for Kraft

Happy Birthday! CAS-Style

Hi all and welcome back!

Hope you're all enjoying your Eastertime with your friends, family, beloved ones.
Today I like to show you a Birthdaycard as my stash has really decreased the last few weeks and am in need for some the next couple of weeks.
Kept it quite simple, just some diecutting, stamping and embossing...

And a close-up so you can see the dimensional I used on my card...

I just looooooooooove this colorcombo of Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Rose Red and Pretty in Pink.
I was inspired by the photo on the Paper Smooches blog, so thought I should use my photoframe die and the colors used.

Anyways... time to go to bed...
Last night we went from Winter to Summertime... now only if we got some nice warm weather... it's still around 2-3 degrees C, too cold for this time of year.

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on :)

Challenges:
- Paper Smooches: Picture Perfect (inpired by photo)

Kleurenkaartenketting: CAS in blauw en zeegroen

***This is my second post for today, please scroll down for the CCWS-challenge post***
*** Dit is mijn tweede post vandaag, scroll even naar beneden voor mijn CCWS-challengepost***

Hi there and welcome back *lol*
Hi en welkom terug *lol*

Finally I'm participating again with the "Kleurenkaartenteam", an initiative by Martina.
You can find a list of this month's participants on her blog.
Eindelijk doe ik weer eens mee met het "Kleurenkaartenteam", een initiatief van Martina
Je kunt de lijst met alle deelnemers van deze maand op haar blog terugvinden..

This month the colors are "dark blue and seagreen".
I choose some Stampin'Up colors: Midnight Blue and Baja Breeze.
Didn't use any stamps, but used a PTI-die saying "hello" and made a pretty CAS-card.

And here's my card...
En hier mijn kaartje...

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on :)
Bedankt voor het langskomen en graag tot een volgende keer! :)

Challenges:
- CAS-Ual Fridays: No stamps

Made the card with the CCWS sketch you can find at the blog.
Colored an exclusive Magnolia image with my Spectrum Noir markers. Ohhh... I love them!

And have you seen the Spectrum Noir challenge as well... it's to add a bit of glitter to your project and who doesn't love adding some sparkles to your creations?

So here's my card....

And a detailphoto of the image...

Thanks so much for coming over and hope you can join us this week with the great sketch you can find at the CCWS-blog.

See you around later on! :)

Sort of back online... *yeah!!*

Wow... that's been a while, almost 2 months :(

My computer got a mind of it's own and restarted every time I tried to start it, so in the end, I just couldn't get it started at the end of December.
Don't like it when electronic things get a mind of their own *lol* I get completely freaked out. Sort of having 2 left hands when it comes to electronics.
And as a completely non-computerminded soul, I had no idea what was wrong, but it needed to get fixed and *yeah!!* (thanks to a very sweet person!) it's been working for 2 weeks now and didn't want to get online before I exactly knew all things were doing it the way I wanted them to work as there still were some minor things to work at.
And sitting in a library felt soooooooo uncomfy back in December :(

So here I am... back online *doing a happy dance*

To tell you the truth... I didn't quite miss it being offline for a couple of weeks.
Have been scrapbooking a lot (and I mean really a lot! Got so many photos wanted to get scrapped) and have a nice collection of colored images ready to be put on cards.
Also cleaned out my craftroom... oh boy.... loved doing that!
And realized I needed to spend less time behind the computer ;)

Will be putting some cards online again this week, so watch this space :)

Am trying to get things back together again online...

CCWS #56

Hi there and welcome again!

First of all I'd like to wish you all a happy 2013.
I still don't have any computer, and will not get it back within another 1-2 weeks.
But I managed to find a friend where I was able to upload some things and here I am... back with another CCWS creation for you.

This week the sketch has been made by me and you can find it on the CCWS-blog.
And this is the card I created. Pretty clean & simple, but really love it.

Hope you will enjoy this card and hopefully you're able to join us at CCWS with this challenge.

Thanks so much for coming over and I really hope my computerproblems will be solved soon.
