Meet Singing Al!

Meet Singing Al, a stamp created by Nutshells!
I just love this stamp and thought it would suit the paper perfectly with the skulls!

It's one of the new stamps Nutshells will be releasing on 6th July!
So you all have to wait a bit, but it's worth waiting, I can tell you! :)

Coloured him with my Copics and man... do I really need to learn much about Copics! Specially making highlights.
But it's getting better each time
, so I'm improving myself (but not too fast in my opinion ;))

Stamp: Nutshells (Singing Al); Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Junkitz; Pens: Copics & Zig; Ink: StazOn; Stickles: Ranger

Thanks for watching again!! :)

SummerCoco

There's a challenge over at Nutshell's blog. Go check it out!
The theme is "Make a summer card" and you can win 2 awesome stamps!!

Here's my take on the challenge... it's miss Coco.
I just so love the glasses she has.
Coloured her with my newly bought Copic Ciao-markers. Wow!! I just love the intensity of them. Something completely different than the Derwent Coloursoft pencils.
I just have to practice a bit more, but I already like the way the stamped images came out.
Made this card with a digi-stamp, but the Nutshells are REAL stamps, no digi about it ;)

Go check out the Nutshell's blog this Monday as it will be the release date of the summer themed stamps!

Here's a little preview of my card....

And here's the card in totall...

Stamps: Digistamp by Nutshells; Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Sassafrass Lass; Flowers: Rayher; Brad: own stash; Baubles: StampingBella; Pen: ZIG; Coloured pens: Copic Ciao

Yesterday, I went shopping in Rotterdam and extended my Copic collection with some new colors. Didn't buy them all, will buy some later this month. You have to spoil yourself every now and then, right??
Also completed my Derwent Coloursoft collection, bought the last pencils I needed and I'm glad I now have them.
Also bought some clothes (really like bargains, like sales with 70% off the original price ;) and a great, and I mean really great diary for next schoolyear. It's the one of "PIP", really cool and sooooooooo love the design. Will make a photo of that one later this week.
Really enjoyed myself, relaxed a lot yesterday and went home with satisfaction.

And tomorrow the real life begins...... have to work, but only 4 more weeks before Summer Holidays starts!! **yahoo**
