It's time to welcome a new year! 2013 has been an eventful year for me. With lots of amazing things going on, and some tough times too. But all in all it's been a wonderful year for me! I hope life will treat you kind this new year!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving me your sweet comments. They mean so much to me! Hope to see you around in 2014!
Crafting wise I have been looking back at what I made this year. I still love the Magnolias a lot, but I have been exploring different kinds of images too. I have been cutting down on my DT's this year, but I am still on the Ett Trykk, Copic Marker Norge, the Midweek Magnolias and Unik Hobby DT's (so I won't be bored anytime soon!) Thanks to all my wonderful DT-collegues- you are making crafting so much fun!
Here's my top 10 (in no particular order) :)
I made this card for the Mideweek Magnolias in January. I love this cute Tilda, and the colors on this card. I have been challenging myself with my copics this year and I had lots of fun doing it.
I made this calendar for my last challenge post as a LLC DT member. I love the vintage heaven that is Sandy's store!
I made this card for Anonyme Scrappere. I love this older Tilda. I made this card in quite a hurry, but it turned out to be one of my favorite cards this year. I do love pinks and vintage ... lol.
I was so proud to be asked to join the Copic Marker Norge design team. This is the first card I made for CMN. This Saturated Canary image is one of my favorites to color.
I made this card for my niece's confirmation. She means a lot to me, so I kind of put my heart into this card! I love this fold and the beautiful papers.
This card was a remake of one of my first magnolia cards I made in 2007. So much fun to see how I have change my style and coloring skills have improved ... and how much I still love pinks...lol.
I made this set for my sister when I learned she was having another baby. I wanted to surprise her with a little gift and card.
This is penholder I made for Ett Trykk Magazine when we made an article on recycling. I made this from old boxes and cardboard from around the house.
I think I chose this frame for my top ten because I love this picture of my 7-year old so much:)
I have been watching you-tube videos and exploring the no-lines technique of coloring (thank you Zoe!). I love the soft look it gives, and this is my new obsession...lol. Here is a gift bag I made for christmas using this coloring technique.
And finally- I had to have a wedding card on my top ten this year- don't you think;)
I do love coloring with distress inks, and this fold is easy and fun to make. This one I made for the card making day blog hop over at the Ett Trykk blog.
Thanks again for stopping by my blog. I'd love it if you leave a comment saying what you think- which one do you like?
Time is like a flowing river, no water passes beneath your feet twice,
much like the river, moments never pass you by again,
so cherish every moment that life gives you
and have a wonderful New Year!
Creative hugs,
