Good Karma, the full kit

Do good and good will come your way. It's the basic rule of good karma. So when you act with love, watch you attitude, think good thoughts and say nice things, you do good for others and in the end it will come back to you. You live in peace with yourself and your environment.

Good Karma is all about doing good for others with an Asian touch, since believing in karma is part of Buddhism. So if you live what you give, you will reap what you sow: love and a positive energy.

The full kit contains the alpha pack, the elements, the papers and the solids/glitters pack. The single packs and the add-ons are still available as well and were part of Happy Hour.

Wie kent dit liedje van Enya nog? Nee, jij niet? Jammer, want het is de perfecte song voor de nieuwste kit van Desings by Sarah. Sail away with me is er natuurlijk ook voor al je cruises of ferryovertochten. Of wat dacht je van andere boottochtjes of een dagje aan zee of in een haven? Genoeg mogelijkheden dus!

Do you still remember this song by Enya? No, you don't? That's a pitty, because it's the perfect song for the new kit made by Desings by Sarah. Sail away with me is perfect for all your cruises, trips on a ferry or boats, day at the beach or spending time in any harbour. Lots of uses!

Greatest Hunter

Tegelijkertijd met de release van de Designer Challenge, heeft Designs by Sarah ook haar release. Zij had voor Gaston gekozen en heeft naast een deel voor in de challenge, ook een complete kit in dat thema gemaakt. Natuurlijk heb ik ook een knutsel gemaakt, iets heel anders dan Gaston!

Together with the release of the Designer Challenge, Designs by Sarah had her own release as well. She choose Gaston as her Villain and besides the minikit for the challenge, she also made a big kit for her own store. Of course I scrapped with it, something completely different than Gaston.

Designer Challenge #7

Het is weer zover, de onthulling van de Designer Challenge op MouseScrappers. Deze keer was het thema 'Villains', oftwel de Disney schurken. Ieder mocht z'n eigen favoriet uitkiezen. Ik heb gekozen voor Shan Yu, de vechter tegen het Chinese Imperium en de tegenstander van Mulan. Deze keer heb ik het anders aangepakt. Ik heb een minikit voor in mijn shop gemaakt (zie morgen) en een sample daarvan is mijn inzending voor de Desinger Challenge.

It's that time of the month, the release of the Desinger Challenge at MouseScrappers. This time things went a little bit different. The theme was 'Villains' and everybody had to choose their favorite. I picked Shan Yu, the fighter against the Chinese Empire and Mulan's opponent. I did things a little bit different this time; I made a minikit to go in my shop (tomorrow) and a sample of it is my part of the Desinger Challenge.

Of course I'll join in the bloghop. To go with this minikit I made an alpha (lowercase, uppercase, numbers and punctuation).

She's Brave!

Vandaag weer een nieuwe release van Designs by Sarah. En als je haar tripreport van haar laatste Disney-bezoek hebt gelezen, zal het je niet verbazen dat er een Brave-kit aan zat te komen! ;-) Will'o the Wisp is vanaf vandaag bij haar te verkrijgen en is niet alleen geschikt voor prinses Merida. Het is zeker ook voor allerlei buitensporten zoals boogschieten geschikt. Of wat dacht je van The Great Outdoors en/of allerlei Scandinavische landen? Heel veelzijdig dus!

Today a new release by Designs by Sarah. And if you have read (or watched the photos that go with it) her tripreport about her last trip to Disneyland Paris, you would have guessed the theme Brave! ;-) Will'o the Wisp is available from now on in her store and it's not only usable for princess Merida. You can use it for those outdoorssports like archery. Or what to think of The Great Outdoors and/or al kinds of Scandinavian countries? Very versatile!

Vandaag een kort berichtje om te vertellen dat Designs by Sarah en heus auto-kitje in haar shop heeft: Cartopia. Perfect voor alle scraps voor/over jongens, auto's, Cars en aanverwante zaken.

DC#6! Bloghop, Not so Scary and What a Hoot

Ja, het is weer de eerste vrijdag van de maand en dat betekent Designer Challenge time! Deze maand waren het echt Najaars- en Halloweenkleuren om mee te werken. Vooral het paars en oranje waren mijn favoriet. Niet alleen ik heb er mee gewerkt (mijn grote kit komt morgen in mijn shop), ook Designs by Sarah en Arts and Ains hebben er mee gewerkt. Natuurlijk heb ik met hun kits ook iets gemaakt. En als je naar beneden scrolt, dan kom je vanzelf bij mijn freebie, helemaal in Disneystyle!

Yeah, it's the first friday of a new month: that means the reveal of the newest Designer Challenge. This month the colors to work with were real Fall-ish and Halloween-ish. For me the purples and the orange were my favorites. Not only I worked with these colors (my big kit will be in store tomorrow), even Designs by Sarah and Arts and Ains made their own kit. Of course I scrapped with their kits. And if you scroll down, you'll find my freebie, in real Disney-style!

Are you sleeping?

Vandaag heeft Designs by Sarah wel een heel slaperige kit: While you were sleeping is geïnspireerd op die prinses die wel 100 jaar slaapt! ;-) Ik vond alleen 1 prinses niet voldoende, dus heb meteen het hele blik Disney prinsessen maar opengetrokken voor mijn layout!

Today Designs by Sarah has quite a sleepy new kit: While you were sleeping is inspired on the princess who sleeps for 100 years. ;-) I just couldn't leave it with just one princess, so my layout is jampacked with all the Disney Princesses we ever met!

Almost Autumn

Bijna herfst en dat is te merken. De temperaturen dalen, de dagen worden korter en de blaadjes aan de bomen beginnen te verkleuren. Om de herfst te vieren heeft Designs by Sarah een nieuwe kit gemaakt: Colors of Autumn. En ik heb me uitgeleefd met een nieuwe template waarmee ik een 2-pager kon maken!

Almost Autumn and you can feel it. Temperatures are going down, days are getting shorter and the leaves are changing color. To celebrate autumn Designs by Sarah made a new kit: Colors of Autumn. And I went loose with a new template, I made a 2-pager!

Designer Challenge #5 Blogtrain & Robotica & Spacey

Ook Designs by Sarah heeft meegedaan met de Designer Challenge en ook zij is te vinden in de blogtrain. Zij heeft echter ook een grote kit gemaakt met een paar kleine kleuraanpassingen: Robotica. And FranB Designs joined in the Designer Challenge, too! And she also made a bigger kit to go in her stores (Spacey), besides the part for the challenge and her part for the blogtrain. And I made a layout, of course! ;-)

Bugs in the Backyard!

Oh, wat heb ik toch een hekel aan dat kleine gespuis in de tuin... Nee, insecten behoren zeker niet tot mijn favoriete dieren. Aan de andere kant, vlinders en lieveheersbeestjes vind ik weer wel leuk. Maar goed, Designs by Sarah heeft weer een nieuwe kit, speciaal voor al die kleine vriendjes die in de tuin te vinden zijn: Backyard Bugs! En zoals je ziet, hoef je je heus niet in een wespennest te steken om een leuke layout te maken! ;-)

Oh, I just don't like those little creatures in the garden... No, insects don't get high on my favorite animal list! On the other hand, I do love butterflies and ladybugs. Anyway, Designs by Sarah has a new kit, especially for those little friends you find in your garden: Backyard Bugs! And as you can see, you really don't have to put your nose in a wasp's nest to get a cute layout.

N'Ice and Sweet, again

Twee weken geleden heb ik deze layout ook gepost. Alleen... toen bleek dat Designs by Sarah een paar dingen had omgedraaid. En ik was op vakantie, had keurig mij post op de automatisch piloot gezet, en had dus niet meegekregen dat toen Tee-riffic werd gereleasd. Daarom vandaag bij mij Tee-riffic in de spotlights, hoewel nu dus eindelijk N'Ice and Sweet uitkomt!

Two weeks ago I also posted the upper layout. But... afterwards I found out that Designs by Sarah had changed some things. I was on vacation, had my blogpost pre-posted and didn't know Tee-riffic was about to released instead of N'Ice and Sweet. Anyway, although N'Ice and Sweet is released today, I'm highlighting Tee-riffic!

Yihaa! I'm back!

Afgelopen maand was er weer een Designer Challenge bij MouseScrappers. Deze keer werd er geen kleurenpalet gegeven, maar moesten we scrappen met het thema 'Big Thunder Mountain'. Nu is dat één van mij favoriete attracties, dus dat leek me geen probleem! Toch vond ik het lastiger dan verwacht. Uiteindelijk heb ik een minikitje weten te maken. En natuurlijk is er ook een blogtrain (hoe toepasselijk bij dit thema).

Designs by Sarah heeft hier ook aan mee gedaan. Zij had zoveel inspiratie dat ze naast haar aandeel in de MouseScrappers kit, ook nog een minikit voor het shop heeft gemaakt. En die is daar nu te vinden. Natuurlijk heb ik met haar kit ook zelf geknutseld. Dit is een foto van onze vakantie vorige week!

Last month there has been a new Designer Challenge at MouseScrappers. This time there wasn't a colorpalet provided, but a theme. We all had to make something with the theme of 'Big Thunder Mountain'. Since this is one of my favorite rides, I thought it wouldn't be a problem. Well, it was harder then expected. At the end I made a minikit. And of course there's a blogtrain, too! (Isn't it funny with this theme?).
Designs by Sarah joined in the fun as well. She had so much inspiration that she made a minikit for her shop as well as a part of the MouseScrappers kit! Of course I made a layout with her part. This is a photo of our last week's vacation! ;-)

N'Ice and Sweet, Happy Birthday Joline!

Yummy, deze keer heeft Desings by Sarah wel een zeer smakelijke kit: N'Ice and Sweet! En wat kan je beter scrappen op de verjaardag van je dochter (ja, echt, Joline is vandaag al weer 8 jaar!!), dan de traktatie die zij ons twee jaar terug tijdens de vakantie gaf?

Yummy, this time Desings by Sarah has a really tasty kit: N'Ice and Sweet! And what better to scrap on your daughter's birthday (yes, Joline turned 8 today) then the treat she gave all of us when we were on vacation two years ago?

Vive la France!

Omdat het bijna 14 juli (Nationale feestdag in Frankrijk) is, heeft Designs by Sarah een echt Frans kitje: Vive la France! Ik heb het leukste pleintje van Parijs mee gescrapt. Op Place du Tertre zitten allemaal kunstenaars. Hier kan je jezelf laten tekeken, onder ander als cartoon. In 2008 hebben we Joline al laten tekenen. Twee jaar later wilde ze weer nagetekend worden. Zie hier het resultaat!

Because it's almost july 14th (National Holiday in France), Designs by Sarah made a real French kit: Vive la France! I decided to scrap the place (a small square) I like the best in Paris, Place du Tertre. It's here where you can find all kind of artists to get you drawed, e.g. as a cartoon. In 2008 we had Joline drawed. Two years later she wanted to have herself drawed again. The result is showing!

American Dream

Het is bijna 4th of July, oftewel Independence Day, in Amerika. Om dat te vieren heeft Designs by Sarah een echte Amerikaanse feestkit. Met veel vuurwerk, slingers, ballonnen en meer. Aangezien in nog nooit in Amerika ben geweest en deze kleuren ook zeer Nederlands zijn, heb ik foto's van een zeer Nederlands museum gebruikt. Een veelzijdige kit. En hou de site van Designs by Sarah in de gaten, want binnekort verschijnt er een kit die perfect hiermee te combineren valt!

Because it's almost 4th of July, Independence Day, Designs by Sarah made something to celebrate. It's really a partykit, with all kinds of firework, banners, balloons and more. Since I haven't been in America, and because these are really 'Dutch-colors' too, I decided to scrap about a real Dutch Museum. Very useful kit. And keep an eye on Designs by Sarah's website, because soon there will be a kit with which you combine as much as you want!

Zoo-much Fun

Naar de dierentuin gaan is één van onze favoriete uitjes. We hebben er dan ook al heel wat bezocht, in binnen- en buitenland. Daarom ben ik heel blij met de twee (ja echt, 2!!) megakits die Designs by Sarah vandaag uitbrengt. Ik heb ons uitje naar de dierentuin van Straubing gescrapt. Hier zijn we vorig jaar tijdens onze vakantie geweest. Een kleine, compacte dierentuin, maar wel met veel verschillende soorten dieren. En daarom kon ik dus Zoo-much Fun - in the water en Zoo-much Fun - on land samen gebruiken. Vanaf vandaag heeft Designs by Sarah haar winkel wat aangepast en opgeknapt. Alles is wat duidelijker en logischer ingedeeld en niet meer in een lange rij onder elkaar. Haar 'nieuwe' winkel is hier te vinden. Veel shopplezier!

Going to the zoo is one of our favorite things to do. We have seen quite some zoos right now, not only in our own country, also in foreign countries. That's why I was so glad Designs by Sarah releases two (yes, really 2!!) new megakits! I scrapped our day at Straubing Zoo, which we visited last year during our vacation. It's a small, compact zoo, but they do have really some animals. And that's why I used both Zoo-much Fun - in the water and Zoo-much Fun - on land. From now on, Sarah has redesigned her store. Everything is more clear and arranged in a more efficient way. Go and visit her 'new' shop here.
