Summer Breeze

So I was home from work yesterday because my kids are sick with a summer virus. I feel so bad for them. BUT, on the bright side, I was home when my July Unity Kit of the Month arrived! I couldn't wait to ink this stamp up!!!!
I kept it quick and simple with some watercoloring.
Go check out all the DARN GOOD deals and new stamps at Unity!!!!

I {Heart} Unity!!!

Just sayin'! In case you didn't know, yes, I do love UNITY!!! And have you SEEN THE NEWEST releases? Check them out HERE! Right up my alley!
This company has got to have the BEST stamps ever, so fun, funny, trendy, vintage, clean and simple...whatever your style...they got 'em!

Today I am sharing two different cards and you'll have to excuse my pictures. Ever since we moved in March, I cannot find my camera cord, so the only way I can blog is with phone pics. It is what it is, for now, til I find my cord!

Both cards use Unity's Kit of the Month stamps. The graduation hat card is from May 2013 and the lightbulb is December 2012.

We are heading into the weekend with some BEAUTIFUL weather here at the Jersey Shore and I plan on enjoying every minute of it! Go do the same!!!!
xoxo

Journey

Wow!!! Almost 5 months have gone by since my last blog post! Life has sure been busy. We moved, I had a baby and Luke started in a new school.
My head has been spinning!
My craft room is still not set up, but I just couldn't resist making a card any longer.
Luke's friend is moving to China for 4 years, how exciting!
We used two different Itty Bitty's to make this card for him.
Quick. Clean. Simple. Love.

Along with some October Afternoon Midway.

I also can't resist sharing my beautiful new baby boy.
Love him with all my heart.
Our little family is now complete!

Hold It Together

I love this little stapler with the cute sentiment, it can be used for so many situations!
There are just a few more days to take advantage of Unity's Buy One Itty Bitty, get one for $1. A great sale they've had running through the month of December. Although I don't think this stapler is available since it's a Stamp of the Week.

And don't forget the inventory reduction sale is going on as well, so after you hop, get on over to the Unity website for a little shopping!

Happy Friday

Hey Unity Peeps! Another fabulous Friends with Flair Friday
I made this card awhile back for my son to give my brother in law for Father's Day. I made it on the go on my way to the Father's Day celebration. I forgot my Copics so I didn't have anything to color the image with. My niece broke out some old chalk inks and I did the best I could with those! The stamps are from several different Kits of the Month and the paper is Basic Grey Life of the Party and the Kraft Outlet.

Hop on over to the Unity blog for oodles of inspiration!

Thanks

Happy Friends With Flair Friday!
I'm not really feeling this card, but I thought I'd share it anyway! The beautiful chevron butterfly and "Thanks" sentiment is from Delight in Beauty and the "trail" behind the butterfly is from one of my Kit of the Month sets, I forget which one...oops!

Have you seen the adorable new Phyllis Harris release over at Unity!?!? OMG, I just ADORE that little witch!

Before you go, I am cleaning out my craft room, check out some deals HERE! And then hop on over to the Untiy blog to see tons of inspiring projects!

Full of Sunshine

It is a rainy, rainy day here at the Jersey Shore, so I thought this would be a good card to share to brighten the atmosphere!
The sentiment is from the Phyllis Harris co-brand set, Brandy and Emma: Good Morning. I made this card a long time ago, before Unity came out with so many fun chevron backgrounds.
So this one was made with a Hero Arts background and Faber Castell Gelatos. It was my first time using Gelatos and they are FUN FUN FUN to play with.

Check out all of the Unity inspiration over at Friends with Flair on the Unity blog today! While you're at it, there are some AWESOME new releases on the Unity website for CHA....check em out!

Spread Your Wings and Fly

Another Friday means another Unity Friends With Flair! I had great fun making this card that I am sharing today. I started off with a square card. I covered it with glue then layered all of these random circles that I punched from Fancy Pants Summer Soul. I then die cut the square card using Lifestyle Crafts big beautiful butterfly die! It's a HUGE die, I just adore this set of nesting butterfly dies! I tied a piece of jute around the center and tied it in a knot to make the butterflies antennae. I added a beautiful sentiment from Jillibean Soup's Coconut Lime Soup.

Yesterday was Mr. Unity's birthday, and they are celebrating in true Unity style with a great SALE! For every Itty Bitty you purchase, you get one free (up to 10)! How cool is that?! Hop on over and fill your cart!

This card is my take on the May Kit of the Month sketch challenge using last month's Kit of the Month, love this flower stamp!!!!  I colored the image with Copics and used some Basic Grey DP, not my usual colors, but I love the way this card turned out.

Speaking of Cute Bunnies

Yesterday I was talking about this cute bunny. And today I have the super cute Unity bunny from the Spring kit. I really love the expression in his eyes. I paired him up with some cheery Echo Park paper and some die cutting/punching. The little heart in  his belly and the cloud are paper pieced and it's all finished off with a little Amuse bow.

I also have a birthday card to share today with the AWESOME banner stamp from the March Kit of the Month. I absolutely adore this banner and can see myself using it over and over. I added some confetti dots to make it a festive party!

Hope you all have a nice Holiday Weekend!

Friends with Flair!

It feels like it's been forever since I participated in Friends with Flair! I made this card using the sweet Phyllis Harris Brandy and Emma: Forever Friends. I love her work and am so glad she paired up with Unity to make these adorable stamps!
My coloring is done with Copics and the papers are from My Minds Eye. The flower is made using a Sizzix die, Spellbinders leaves and some felt from MFT.

Now hop on over to the Unity blog, to see the full list of today's Friends with Flair!

Santa Bingo

I made this card a little while ago, and just realized I had shared it on SCS, but not on my blog. It is one of the 4 cards for my backgrounds class next week at Paper Wings.

I love this Santa Itty Bitty Bingo (in stock at Paper Wings), it's so fun and the Unity DT has been using it in so many fun ways! and the Stars of Worn background stamp is so versatile, I used Donna Salazar's new ink on it here. If you are looking for a good white ink, this one is the best I've found so far, and it's also in stock at Paper Wings :) I used red acrylic paint on the Santa stamp to get a bit of a different look.
Thanks for coming by today, I appreciate your visits and your comments!
Stop by the Unity blog to check out the rest of the FWF participants today!

I am sharing a layout today for Friends With Flair, finally I have gotten a bit of my scrappy mojo back....or at least the desire to scrapbook back!

The paper I used is Bo Bunny Etc. and is available at Paper Wings, for those of you that are in New Jersey, you should visit there for some shopping, just sayin! The journaling stamp is by Unity (sorry I can't find the link for it on the website, it might have been part of an old kit of the month!)
