Michele Bachmann to chair Zombie Apocalypse Committee

Washington, DC (ParodyWire) - Under pressure for appointing what many saw as a token  woman to lead the House Administration Committee, John Boehner appointed Michele Bachmann chair to the coveted Zombie Apocalypse Committee.  "The idea came to me during the House Halloween party.  Michele was dressed as Vampira, and her husband Marcus as Tor Johnson.  You know that Plan 9 look.  Of course, Marcus looked more like Liberace than Tor. Heh.  Anyway, that's all I remember before I blacked out from drinking a half gallon of bourbon," said Boehner.

Republican troubles are just beginning

These clowns never had a chance

Today the major went to a VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) which is the VA clinic in the northern part of the county he lives.

He was looking at an old Time Magazine when the GOP primary was occurring and Rightardia didn't see one person in the clown caricature who could be elected.

Rick Perry was just another dumb ass for TX, exactly what the country didn't need.

Michele Bachmann is a GOP caricature without the clown makeup on. She had made so many absurd statements she would have been easy to defeat.

Newt Gingrich was a sanctimonious windbag who had serous moral and ethical lapses in his past.

Then there is Father Rick Santorum who sees the political spectrum colored by religion. He would have been an easy mark based on numerous bizarre quotes the Democrats have on him.

Ron Paul, the libertarian, was the most normal person in the group within the most normal family, but hardly popular with Establishment Republicans, who like to start wars and develop lavish defense budgets.

Essentially, none of this crowd including Mittens, the corporate clown, is electable.

Republican voters would be wise to skip the 2012 elections with the hope that the GOP would move toward the middle after suffering another  humiliating defeat in 2012.

The GOP has moved to the right due to the disgust of the Tea Party with establishment Republicans, but the extreme views of the Tea Parters can not sustain the GOP much longer.

If the GOP can move to the middle, John Huntsman, Jr. might be a great candidate in 2016. If it stays in right wing world, Republicans are likely to lose the 2016 presidential election as well.

Bachmann: Women Need To Make Their Own Choices On Healthcare

Published on Apr 15, 2012 by

One of the Rightrdia spouses watched the debate and noticed Bachmann constatly talking over Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

Think Progress comments on the debate:

Without noting the irony of the GOP war on women targeting Planned Parenthood, abortion services, and contraception coverage, Bachmann said women need to be allowed control over their own bodies.

Michele Bachmann advocates Middle Eastern regional war

Michele Bachmann said at CPAC:

His strategic blunder is putting distance between the U.S. and Israel.

That has a far more calculable impact on the United States and our safety.

How do a close relationship with Israel ensure US safety?

John Mearsheimer called U.S. support for Israel’s policy toward the Palestinians “a major cause” of terrorism.

A State Department advisory group concluded “Citizens of these (Islamic) countries are genuinely distressed by the plight of the Palestinians and the role the United States appears to be playing. As John Mearsheimer explains:

Not surprisingly, that anger helps fuel terrorism against the United States.

Neo-conservatives led a willing US into the Iraq war. What did we learn after dropping $ one trillion on a fruitless war?

If we were to accede to Israel's wishes in iran, the US would be drawn into a regional war that could escalate into a world war.

Michele Bachmann is advocating that the US support Israel's grand design to neutralize Iran in a regional war. It is clear the Us would prefer a cold war to an armed confrontation that could involve China and Russia.

Clearly President Obama's policy is far more sane than the close relationship with Israel that Michele Bachmann is advocating that would likely embroil the US intro another costly war.

Are you a narcissist?

Rightardia has written about narcissism many times before because we have to constantly deal with one.

A recent study indicate that narcissists may have a endocrine system disorder.

Unhealthy narcissism in college-age men may chronically activate the body's key stress response system. This  puts  men at risk for cardiovascular and endocrine problems.

The narcissistic trait appears to activate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, increasing cortisol secretion and subsequent stress levels.

Sara H. Konrath, PhD, of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and colleagues, reported their findings in PLoS ONE.

The researchers also measured mood and took two saliva samples to measure stress on the HPA axis by looking at cortisol levels in the saliva.

Narcissistic Personality Quiz

Take the quiz at Psych Central: http://psychcentral.com/quizzes/narcissistic.htm

This test could be useful in human resources. Sales people need healthy levels of narcissism but this trait is not conductive to team building in a corporation.

Narcissists can produce chaos and some GOP politicians such as Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and Newt Gingrich have narcissistic traits. All of them have had problems holding onto key staff.

During Newt's first attempt to run for president, all of his staff resigned. Newt's management style has been described as chaotic and he has admitted he thinks grandiose thoughts.

Newt has compared himself to a variety of historical figures such as Moses, Woodow Wilson, Charles DeGaulle and the Wright Brothers among many others. See http://mittromney.com/news/press/2012/01/i-think-grandiose-thoughts

Is Newt a narcissistic? Rightardia thinks it is highly likely.

Michele Bachmann to drop out of primary race

This Christian soldier bites the dust

Michele Bachmann finished with 5 per cent of the Iowa vote while her evangelical competitor, Rick Santorum, finished with 25 per cent. Santorum was 8 votes shy of beating Mitt Romney who dropped $700,000 on the primary election.

The IA results suggest there isn't a great deal of enthusiasm for Romney .

Santorum has yet to be vetted and there is plenty of material to attack him with. He has made numerous gaffes.Rightardia thinks that Pastor Mike Huckabee from the 2008 primaries was a far better candidate that Rick Santorum will ever be.

Santorum's evangelical family values platform won't work with independents and Democrats in this economy.

Rightardia noticed that Bachmann had cancelled several campaign events a few days ago and did not appear to be heading to SC.

So good riddance. Politifact rated Bachman as tops with false statements and pants on fire lies. Don't hit your head on the way out, Michele!

The other Evangelical, Rick Perry, is also dropping out. He has some gray matter issues. Being from TX didn't help either.

Jesus gave those drop-outs  their just rewards.

Who is really winning in Iowa?

The new CNN-ORC International Iowa poll made news on 12/28/2011 says

Mitt Romney is the leader with 25 percent.
Ron Paul --22 percent.
Rick Santorum--16 percent
Newt Gingrich--14 percent
Rick Perry earned--11 percent.
Michele Bachmann --9 percent.

The Iowa Public Policy Poll a day earlier has very different results:

Ron Paul is the leader at 24 percent
Mitt Romney--20 percent
Newt Gingrich--13 perccent
Michele Bachmann --11 percent
Rick Perry and Rick Santorum at 10 percent
Jon Huntsman --4 per cent,
Buddy Roemer --2 per cent

Is this what a difference a day makes. Possibly, because Romney dropped a $700,000 money bomb on the Iowa primary which elevated him in the polls.

But the PPP poll may be more accurate because it polled independents, something the CNN poll may not have done. Independents can vote in the Iowa primary and Paul has a clear advantage with them over Romney.

The CNN/Time poll says it was conducted by ORC International from Dec. 21-24 and Dec. 26-27, with 452 voters who are likely to participate in the Iowa Republican caucus. The poll does not indicate if any of those likely voters are independents.

Update: The CNN poll, conducted by telephone between December 21 and 27, surveyed 999 registered Republicans in Iowa, including 452 likely voters, who were identified by their stated intention to participate in the 2012 primary, interest in the campaign to date and voting history.

The CNN has an error margin of +/-4.5 percentage points.

PPP surveyed 597 likely Republican caucus voters from December 16 to 18th. The margin of error for the survey is +/-4.0%.

Buzz 60: The I that matters

Uploaded by on Dec 28, 2011
While everyone spends the rest of the year wondering what a small number of very conservative voters in Iowa is going to do, the only "I" that matters is not Iowans but Independents. They'll decide who wins in November and right now, they're not liking anybody.

Good Old Boy club takes out Michele Bachmann in IA

Rightardia thought it was peculiar that Rick Santorum, who ran a lack luster campaign, is beating out Michele Bachmann for the evangelical vote. Santorum surged to 10 per cent in the IA caucus, which was great for someone who had been a 2 per cent.

Bachmann has a better speaking voice and was a lot feistier in the debates than Santorum, yet Santorum prevailed. Perhaps the call to Sarah Palin helped him.

Palin and Bachmann had been bosom buddies, but apparently the two had a falling out in August. Palin believed  Bachmann's team has gone around Iowa saying Palin is a lightweight and a quitter .

Well, that is certainly true. Democrats have been well aware of Palin's limitations,

Bachmann asked Ed Rollins to apologize to Palin. Rollins quit as her campaign manager.

Then this!

Bachmann's Iowa Chairman Kent Sorenson abandoned Bachmann  for Ron Paul. Sorenson suddenly quit the Bachmann campaign and endorsed Ron Paul.

Was the Republican good old boy network to blame? Sure, but the campaigners also realized that it is probably be the end for Bachmann in IA. However, it should have also have been the end for the Rick Santorum, too.

Of course, Bachmann like Palin has trouble keeping staff around. Perhaps both are overbearing and narcissistic. Palin has certainly been accused of the latter. But the GOP is also a good old boy club that has little regard for female candidates.

It will be interesting to watch who stays in the campaign.

There are some indicators that the party bosses would prefer a primary stalemate in which none of the candidates have sufficient votes for the GOP nomination. This would cause a brokered convention in which the country club Republicans picked the party's nominee: probably Jeb Bush or Chris Christie.

This scenario is likely if Ron Paul starts winning most of the primaries. It will be interesting to see how many candidates are left after the next three or four primaries and caucuses.

If a bunch are left, the fix is in for a brokered convention. If candidates start dropping, the GOP is confident that Mitt will win enough delegates to get the nomination.

Buzz 60: The Last Debate of the Season and Nothing's Changed

Uploaded by on Dec 16, 2011

The last Republican Presidential debate of the year has come and gone and after 13 such shows and seven months, where do we stand?

Pretty much where we did in May with no clear frontrunner. Why? Maybe because so far none of the GOP candidates seem both likeable and competent.

Could the Democrats be headed for a huge victory in 2012?

Mike Tomasky wrote an article in the Daily Beast that Obama could be headed for a landslide victory in 2012. The Democrats may take back the House, but lose the Senate in the process. However, a big presidential victory might give the Dems all three houses.

Stranger thing have happened!

The GOP ticket is like a circus clown show. The three evangelicals: Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum have no chance at all. Perhaps they are there to pander to evangelicals. None of these candidiates have the stature or communication skills of Mike Huckabee who ran in the 2008 GOP primary.

Newt Gingrich's act is fading. Both left and right wing media have trashed him. The conservative National review say his character flaws make him unfit to be president. The review  then asks Republicans to “reject a hasty marriage” to Gingrich.

Mitt Romney is probably the best candidate the GOP had but lacks charisma and he has run a lack luster campaign that is more like that of an incumbent president. He has refused interviews and the one he recently had with Fox News was a disaster.

Jon Huntsman, the former US ambassador to China, is a great candidate but far too moderate for the Tea Party crowd. Many pundits suggested that Huntsman really has his eye on a run in 2016 and just wants to get acquainted at this juncture with the electorate.

That leaves Ron Paul who could win the Iowa GOP caucus . Paul is despised by some of the other candidates because of his position on defense, drugs and gay marriage. Paul may end up as a third party candidate and IBOPE/Zogby said he could win 16 per cent of the vote.

Rightardia thinks if Paul runs for president as the Libertarian choice, the GOP is sunk. However, Paul will also pick a lot of students and Occupy protesters that could also hurt Democrats.

In any event a presidential victory for Obama would be amazing with a 43 favorability rating today from Gallup and a 44 per cent rating form IBOPE/Zogby.

Bachmann would close the "US embassy" in Iran

Michele Bachmann told supporters in Iowa on Wednesday she has big plans for US diplomacy.

She said during a Bachmann presidency there would be no U.S. embassy in Iran.

Duh! The US hasn't had an embassy in Iran since 1980.

Bachmann also has a new axis of evil: Iran, Syria, North Korea, China and Russia.

Why won't Michele Bachmann mud wrestle Sarah Palin?

Michele Bachmann said to Politic0:

They want to see two girls come together and have a mud wrestling fight, and I’m not going to give it to ‘em.

Rightrdia recommends that Rep. Bachmann reconsider mud wrestling with the Quitter Queen. Rightardia is certain she would win the GOP nomination for president provided she whipped Bible Spice.
