Lunch from Cold Storage

Now... what is so nice about driving out to Cold Storage during lunch break and tapao lunch? Actually we only do this after doing some banking chores.

It's actually very worth it ler... and it's yummy too! You can ask the guys there to heat it up for you! Well, there goes my diet plan! :p

For me, I will also buy a pack of zucchinis to supplement o the vege side of the meal.

Cell makan outing... at "Look Out Point"

Let's see........ most outings has to do with food, food, food & more food! Right?! Well, I couldn't agree more! It's been yet again another fattening weekend. Unfortunately, there weren't many photos, or even if there were, they are not so good... Hubby left his precious camera back in Kajang. I had to use mine... photos didnt turn out well... so.... very unfortunately, I couldn't let the photos do the talking. Hmmm....

Anyway, just for the fun of it... here are some acceptable photos that I have... :p
Last Friday.... the cell went to "Look Out Point Western Food Restaurant" in Hulu Langat. Beautiful view of KL city... as you can see... Check out the lights! I love the city of lights!! Beauuuuutiful! :)

Anyway, had a great time. It was a short makan outing, but it was worth the try, especially so when the view was sooooooo beautiful from up there! Too many people though (well, it was a weekend), so we didn't get to choose a good spot to sit. Also, thanks to Uncle for the treat, and for bb sitting! :)

KFC for dinner!

Yeah... Talk about DIET! LOL! :p

Had KFC for dinner last night with hubby & BB Daniel. Hubby had food cravings lately.... Hahaha! Added to that, it made me drool too... thinking of the food that we're gonna wah-lup!

Wanted also to try the "New KFC Spice Crunch". Hmmm... Food review? Not as good as the "original Hot & Spicy". Nothing new accept some additional spice which makes it taste a lot more like eating murukku with chicken!

Fattening week!

The fattening week had just gone by... been eating out and eating lots... even harder to resist when the food taste o so good! (There goes my dieting plan... :p)

Sunday after church, went to Cheras for lunch, together with four other families - the PNgs, the Seahs and the Chongss... Read from BB Daniel's blog about the yummy "tauhu kang" served in this restaurant: Restaurant Sim Sek You Fook in Tmn Mutiara (opposite Leisure Mall) - Sorry, no pictures taken :p *BURP!*

Dinner on Sunday was only a few hours after that heavy lunch! And it was at Restaurant Makanan Laut Telok Gong, Klang - one of the many sea food restaurants in that area, but heard that that's the best of the lot! So many restaurants there, and they were all pack with sea-food eaters - the human!! We reached there a little after 6 and there were already people eating, and the place was half filled, and more people were coming in!

The price was reasonable and the food was superlicious!

The story: My family from Melaka (except my sis) came up. Bro had some meetings and seminars to attend. Mum, Peggy & Paul were around for the weekend. Mum missed baby Sarah soooooooooooooo much. She said baby Sarah big girl already.... getting quite mischievous too! :p
Saturday night, the 2 families met up for dinner. The food was yummy... really really yummy (salivating liao...), and charged at a very reasonable price. The place looks new too. It was
operated from home, but before long, their business expanded and seemed to me, they are doing pretty well right now!

Bah Kut Teh in Klang

This took place three Saturdays ago.... ie on 19th July (wow! time flies!)
Anyway, the Chong family went for food that Klang is well-known for... Bah Kut Teh!
We went there firstly to visit grand-aunt... ie great-grand-aunt of baby Sarah, and thereafter headed for BKT dinner.

The cool thing that i heard from hubby is that "she" connected Mum & Dad! Hehehe... Here's a short story that comes along... MIL was working in grand-aunt's rattan furniture factory... and there was where she met FIL. While they were both working as colleagues... love sparked between them... love was in the air... and the love story continues.... Hohoho! Cute-leh.... "she" also helped grandma to look after hubby, his sibling (none other than CK of course) and 2 other cousins.

Here's baby Sarah... after drinking milk... and great-grand-aunt carrying and burping her... and as usual, she's in her own world with her hands in her mouth... yum yum for her!


As for the food... it was just OK. It would have tasted better if i could eat BKT with SUPER DUPER HOT soup + chili padi that burns my throat, and slowly nibble on the "bak", but it wasn't like that that night. However, was glad that baby Sarah gets to see her great-grand-aunt and that the family had a small reunion that day. We didnt need to wait for "CNY" to have reunion right?! :)

Didn't manage to take many photos that night too... Hands were full... Yes! Sarah's hands were "full" too!

Satay supper before bowling...

Because we had to "kill time" before going back to the bowling venue to "claim our lanes", we went out for satay supper at Restaurant Malaysia...

Today's lunch

Lunch today is tuna sandwich, celery, homemade yogurt+apple
Later, will have an orange - for tea break :p
