Crazy 4 Challenges - STAR

Stars decorate our Christmas trees, so for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge this week we are using the word 'STAR' - incorporate something starting with each of the letters in the word.  I chose spoon, teal, aroma and round.....let's see how I did it.
I pulled out a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set called Treat Yourself for the sentiment.  I used Karen Burniston's Labels & Circles to stamp the sentiment onto.
I used Karen's Cup Pop Stand along with the frosting/whip cream top from Elizabeth Craft Designs' Cupcakes.  Who wouldn't want to smell a cup of coffee that also has whip cream too?  To make the saucer, I used the Cup Pop Stand die that makes the pop up and die cut it onto scrap paper and then used the circle die from Clock & Gears to cut it out.

Crazy 4 Challenges - Fresh Fruit

This weeks Crazy 4 Challenges team members are to put fruit on their cards.  This Cherries Stencil from Karen Burniston and Speech Bubble Edgy Options from Els van de Burgt made this card so easy!
I cut a piece of Whisper White, die cut the top and sponged the cherries on the bottom.  The Cherries Stencil is so easy to use because the cherries and the stems are on the same stencil but apart from each other so you don't have to worry about mixing the colors together.  I used Endless Birthday Wishes and Bravo Stampin' Up! stamp sets for the sentiment.
I used the Speech Bubble Edgy Options again on the inside - what I love about this die is that you can make the bubble as small or as large as you need.  I used Hot Air Balloon die to animate the Cupcake topped off with a cherry and candle.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Pop It Ups Wednesday With - Spooky Greetings

I have a full tutorial for this card on the Elizabeth Craft Designs' Blog.  Click here to see how I made this very dimensional Halloween card.
My son Jake was crafting with me today and he made this version of my card.  Making cards is not only fun and it's easy enough for kids as well.  Jake added both layers of Midnight for stability, some stamping around the edges and a few stars.

Happy Stampin',

Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month and that means it's Sketch time with the Crazy 4 Challenges Design Team.  I love Halloween!  It was so easy to follow the sketch and use Karen Burniston's new Halloween dies!  Using the Bats Stencil was so easy and I love all those bats.  I also used the spider & web from Halloween Scene.  The sentiment is from Halloween Clear Stamp set and I die cut it on a pumpkin from Halloween Charms.
On the inside, I used Halloween Scene but made the graveyard a bit longer by stopping the cutting pad short.  To hide the spot where I extended it, I added a raven & the spooky tree.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel
