It's the final challenge for the Crazy 4 Challenges design team and for me as well as I have decided to step down from the team. I have chosen sketch C4C439.

It's a tree-mendous time of the year with the Crazy 4 Challenges team! It's time to decorate the Christmas tree...on our cards that is. The Crazies are creating cards with that feature a tree. I chose to stamp this little cutie.

November 15th is Use Less Stuff Day. In its honor the Crazy 4 Challenges team members are making a true one layer CAS card for any theme. I sponged Pineapple Punch Classic Ink over the Irresistibly Floral DSP and then adhered a die cut to the center.

During the fall and spring seasons, leaves are all around us. The Crazy 4 Challenges team are making cards in which the only images are leaves. I found this patterned paper in my stash, die cut a few leaves, and sentiment.....easy card!

I never knew there was such a thing as Black Cat Day, but my Crazy 4 Challenges team member, Kathleen Adams, says there is. SO.....we're to make a card with a cat on it or make a Halloween card. I love Halloween so that's what I chose.

Today is Cancer Awareness Day. The Crazy 4 Challenges members are making cards in support for someone who is currently fighting cancer or a card to cheer someone up. I have stretched the meaning of the theme a little bit to make it a celebration card. My parents are celebrating 52 years of marriage and if you look hard enough they have survived each other for a really long time. LOL
I've used Karen Burniston's Spinner Square Pop Up for my card base. I die cut an opening in the front of the card so the stamped sentiment can be viewed whilst closed. The "Celebrate" die cut is a framelit from Stampin' Up! called Celebrate You.
When you open the card, you can still see the sentiment and the milestone of 52 years of marriage! Congrats to my parents!

Today is Wold Card Making Day! So the Crazy 4 Challenges team members are making cards today. Shocker I know. LOL It can be any shape or theme. I chose to make a fall color schemed card using a bundle from Stampin' Up! called Floral Frames.

We have made it to the end of September and that means it's my final week to be hostess for the Crazy 4 Challenges team. My final challenge for the team is to make a fall card. The team will be putting leaves, or trees with beautiful fall colors, or anything that says fall to them.
I started off by embossing a piece of cardstock with the new Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder and sponging some black ink around the edges. I applied the owl sticker to a piece of Whisper White and used colored pencils to color him in.
I used the Transfer Sheet to apply the negative image of the owl to the inside of my card.

It's time for a birthday challenge with Crazy 4 Challenges. I've challenged the team to make a birthday card and put numbers on it. I admit that I have an ulterior motive for setting this challenge - it's my son Jake turns 12 next week!
So I set forth to search my stash for pattern paper with numbers and got busy creating. He can climb trees like nobody's business and I used to say he can climb like a monkey.....hence the monkey stamp.
I used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop Up to animate another monkey and the sentiment. I also added another strip of the numbered patterned paper and made the "12" stand out by adding a star as I did on the front.
When the card opens fully, the sentiment panel and monkey move up to the top of the card! It's so much fun and I love the up-side-down monkey with the googley eyes.

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's a sketch challenge with Crazy 4 Challenges. I chose the artistic freedom to swap the circle for a square LOL. I stamped the trio of flowers using the Petal Palette stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Welcome back to my second week of hosting the Crazy 4 Challenges team! It's grandparents day this month, so I challenged the team to make a card to show someone you love them or to show appreciation for what they do for you. I know that my son is truly blessed to have such wonderful grandparents.
I used the interactive stamp and Thinlit set called You Move Me. When you pull up on the center piece, the hummingbird appears to be fluttering!

It's a masculine challenge this week with Crazy 4 Challenges. I don't know about you but I do find masculine cards more tricky to make. I chose to use this "Dog Walker" stamp from Riley & Co. I stamped the image onto Whisper White and colored it in using alcohol markers. I placed the stitched rectangle die back over the piece of paper and sponged some ink.

It's the third Saturday of the month and that means it's a sketch challenge with Crazy 4 Challenges. I used the Floral Frames Bundle from Stampin' Up! to create this "Hello" card. I stamped the image onto a piece of Whisper White and fussy cut it out. I stamped and colored the flowers using Blendabilities and then used the Framelit to die cut them. I also die cut a few leaves for added interest.

In honor of national mountain climbing day, the Crazy 4 Challenges members are putting mountains on our cards. I kinda cheated in the fact that mine are more like a little rolling hill. LOL
I used the Foliage Frames Framelits and Starburst punch as a backdrop of the cute hedgehog from Karen Burnison's Winter Animals die set. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up!'s Hedgehugs stamp set.

The Crazy 4 Challenges team members are making sympathy, support, or hope cards this week. I stamped this beautiful flower onto glossy white using StazOn and colored it using Stampin' Write Markers. I was able to blend very easily because the glossy paper isn't porous.

The Crazy 4 Challenges team members are making shaped cards this week. The shape can be anything other than a rectangle, circle or square. I thought I'd use Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop Up die to create a cupcake shaped card. It's so smallishly cute that it could be used as a gift tag as well.
I used the pop up die to trace around a folded card and hand cut the shape out. I then used the coordinating dies to actually die cut the cupcake shape. I put double sided adhesive on a piece of Whisper White to die cut the words from Word Set 2 and sponge them with Blueberry Bushel and Call me Clover.

The Crazy 4 Challenges team members are being inspired by windows this week. We are to use an actual cut out window in front of a card, acetate see through window or even a clear card, shaker, images of building or cars with windows. I went with a cut out window using Karen Burniston's Snowman Circle Twist die.
I used the 2nd largest circle to die cut the circle opening on the front. To line it up exactly where I needed it to be, I placed the circle in the card and placed the circle die with the cut side up and ran it through my Big Shot. I used Word Set 2 to create the curved sentiment.
I found this stamp in my stash - I had forgotten I even had it.
