JAMPEX2025

A district level philatelic exhibition was organised on February 22-23, 2025 by Department of Post, Singhbhum division, Jharkhand circle and supported by Jamshedpur Philatelic Society on the occasion of completing 50 years of the society.Exhibition was inaugurated by CPMG, Jharkhand on 22 Feb and awards were given by DPS, Jharkhand circle on 23 Feb.



Exhibits were displayed in 112 frames in which 36 frames had National Level exhibits by senior philatelist in invitee class, 54 frames in competitive class and 10 frames by 6 participants in youth class.Total 4 Bronze and 1 silver medal were awarded in Youth class whereas 8 Bronze, 5 Silver and 2 Vermeil medals were awarded in Senior class.Mrs Suchanda Banerjee was awarded a vermeil medal and Best exhibit award for her collection on “Rotary Movement”.

New Postage stamp released

Vadtaldham Bicentenary Festival 


To commemorate the 200th anniversary of Vadtal Temple, a special stamp was released to honor its pivotal role in the Shree Swaminarayan Sampradaya. The temple serves as the spiritual capital of the Shree Swaminarayan Sampradaya, which has spread across the world today. This temple was built on the command of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan by Sadguru Shree Brahmanand Swami and Sadguru Shree Aksharanand Swami. The temple is built in a lotus shape, symbolizing the spirit of harmony among all religions. It includes depictions of past avatars of gods and goddesses.

The stamp was released at Vadtal, district Kheda, Gujarat on 09.11.2024 in presence of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Acharya Maharaj 1008 Shri Rakeshprasad Ji, Dr Shri Santvallabhswami Chief Executive Kothari of Vadtladham Mandir, Postmaster General, Vadodara, Shri Dineshkumar Sharma along with other Pujya Swamishri.

Dhai Akhar : Celebrate the Art of Writing



On 9 November 24 an event on Dhai Akhar was organised at Bengaluru.In which an all women bike rally was flagged off from GPO Bengaluru. Afterwards a postcard writing session on Sandesh to Scindia was undertaken by students of Rashtriya Military school Bengaluru.



To commemorate the event four picture postcards created by Postcrossing welfare society of India were released by CPMG Karnataka circle Shri S Rajendra Kumar, Ms Disha Pannu IPoS (team leader, Bike rally) and Col akhil kumar, President of PSOI.

CHINA 2024 - Asian International Stamp Exhibition



CHINA 2024: ASIAN INTERNATIONAL STAMP EXHIBITION


CHINA 2024 will be organized under the Patronage of the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP) and the Recognition of Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP).


CHINA 2024 will open on 29 November 2024 and close on 3 December 2024.


CHINA 2024 will be held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre (Address: 1000 Yan’an Road (C), Shanghai, China 200040)


Duly filled Exhibit Application Forms should be sent through their Commissioners to reach the Organizing Committee by 25 April 2024.


7.2 Group II Competitive Classes


Class 1 FIAP Championship Class for collections that have been awarded three FIP/FIAP large gold medals in three separate years (at least two large gold medals from FIAP exhibitions) at the exhibitions patronized by FIP/FIAP over the past 10 years (2014-2023). (A Grand Prize counts as a Large Gold Medal)

9.4 The fee for participation in Literature (Class 15) is US$50 per exhibit.
