More Embroidery and Crocheted edgings...

The embroidery was completed on some tea towels a long time ago.
They were tucked away in a box just waiting for the crocheted edgings.
Crocheting the edgings really don't take long to...not sure why I procrastinate.
Love all three!!
The apple pie is a free design from Kaaren at The Painted Quilt.
It was one of her First Friday Freebie patterns back in 2010.

The cute rabbit tea towels are Aunt Martha's iron transfers, pattern #3828.
They are available at Colonial Patterns, Inc.

Playing with some new embroider designs...

A tea towel with some yummy blueberries and a
simple crocheted edging.
The pattern is The Berry Patch.
The pattern for the embroidery on the clothes pin bag
is Grandma's Back Yard.
I can see myself making a few more of these for gifts.

I love clothes line embroideries and when
I find a new design I end up making another clothes pin bag.

I've made a few over the last few years...
which one is your favorite?

here they are all in a row...
I'd say they are all looking pretty cute.

The middle one was a practice one...plain and simple.
Then I added ruffles and an extra pocket and that is
the one I use...(second from the right).
My favorites are the ones with the embroideries.
I have lots and lots of clothes pins and
most of them are stored in
a log cabin.
I love it!!

Think Ruffles Blog Hop and a Giveaway

Welcome to my blog...it's day 2 of the Think Ruffles blog hop
organized by the amazing Mdm Samm at SewWeQuilt and
Amy at SewIncrediblyCrazy.  Both are amazing cheer leaders.
Thank you ladies for all your hard work!!

My first project is a clothes pin bag...I just love hanging my laundry outside.
When I lived in Canada...
one of my neighbours commented many times...on how neat my clothes line looked.
The socks were always pinned in pairs and
the heels always facing in the same direction.
I have always had a clothes line until we moved to Michigan.
I do cheat and hang my laundry on 2 portable lines
on our covered deck.
Am I crazy??
I will have a real clothes line at my next house...for sure!!
We have a Home Owners Association now and
we am not to hang laundry outdoors in our subdivision...
I think they refer it to be...unsightly!!!
I'm ready to hang my clothes outdoors...
if SPRING ever comes!!

I knew I wanted to make a ruffled Tammy bag and
I've made lots of them using Mdm Samm's pattern but these
are the only ones I've made with ruffles.  I luv them!!
I will be making more of them with ruffles...sEw girly!!
They make the perfect sewing bag.
Luv the lambs on the bag on the left...too cute!
I really should have taken a picture of the inside...it's soft pink with lots of little lambs.
The last of my projects...a tea towel...and after I made one...
I had to make another...
when I found some black gingham for the trim...I luv them both!!
I do not have a red kitchen...maybe I'll have a red kitchen in my next house.
All the fabrics for the projects and the tea towels...from IKEA, were from my stash.
The panel had 15 chef designs.
I don't remember buying it so it has been in my stash awhile.
It's called Chefs International by South Sea Imports designed by Tara Reed.
I hope you enjoyed my ruffle projects.

Remember to visit all the ladies ruffling with me today
leave them a sweet comment...make their day!!
