Happy 8th Birthday | Card

Hello everyone!
This is my final card for the day. If you would like to see my first two cards, you can check them out HERE and HERE.

I have this super fun card to share I made using several stamps and dies from Winnie and Walter. I never make masculine cards, but I think this one would fit the category very well! It would be perfect to give to a boy. Here's how my card looks:

I have done quite a bit of layering on this card. To start with, I first trimmed a piece of kraft cardstock to adhere to my card base. I also die cut a white panel using a Stitched Rectangles die to create my card panel. Once all the base preparation was done, I began to work on the focal of my card. I die cut balloons from different patterned papers except for the large polka dots balloon in red, which was stamped and then die cut. I used the Big Round Balloon Cutaways to die cut the balloons. The large polka dots balloon in red was stamped and die cut using the Ring in the Celebration stamp & coordinating die set

I wanted my sentiment to read "Happy 8th Birthday" so I stamped the number eight and the 'th' using stamps from the Typecast: Cary set and fussy cut them and adhered them to my panel. The word 'happy' is from the In a Word: Happy Coordinating Cutaways. I die cut it from white cardstock several times and layered them one on top of the other to give it a raised look. I also lightly inked the die cut using pink dye ink. The 'birthday' is from the In a Word: Happy (the stamp set) and was stamped using black dye ink on a piece of white cardstock. I then embossed a piece of green cardstock using Provo Craft's Swiss Dots embossing folder to create the grassy effect. And my card was done! This was so fun to put together.

I am entering this card in the following challenges by Winnie and Walter:
Stamp Images Mash Up Challenge with Jessica
Number Cruncher Challenge with Keren
Dress Up Your Die Cuts Challenge with Gayatri (I've done ink blending on the 'happy' die cut)
Lucky 7 Limit Challenge with Shay - My lucky 7 goes like this: 3 stamp sets + 3 die sets + 1 embossing folder.
Ink Blending Challenge with Lea (I've done ink blending on the 'happy' die cut)

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card. If you did, please let me know! I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Birthday | Card

Hello everyone!
This is my second post for the day. To view my first post, please click HERE.

I made this card keeping in mind a couple of challenges from Winnie and Walter's World Card Making Day challenges. This card features some of my favourite Winnie and Walter products. I have been in absolute love with the In Bloom: Maggie's Roses Cutaways die for as long as I can remember, and I finally got my hands on this set last year, but wasn't able to use it till now. I'm so happy to finally get a chance to use it!

To create this card, I first started by die cutting my card panel using the scalloped frame die from the Essentials: Audrey's Cutaways. Next, I die cut the roses and leaves from In Bloom: Maggie's Roses Cutaways and lightly ink blended them using dye inks from Altenew. I did some stenciling on the background using the Scenery: Do You See What I See? Creative Screenings to add some more interest to my card.

I created my own sentiment by using sentiments from two different stamp sets: In a Word: Happy and The Big, the Bold and Party. All that was needed to complete this card were black ink paint splatters and few clear sequins, and my card was finished.

I am entering this card in the following challenges by Winnie and Walter:
Ink Blending Challenge with Lea
Dress Up Your Die Cuts Challenge with Gayatri (I've done ink blending on the die cut roses and leaves)
Stamp Images Mash Up Challenge with Jessica
Number Cruncher Challenge with Keren (I have added two flowers as my focal, six sequins, and eight leaves on my card so all my elements are in even numbers)
Lucky 7 Limit Challenge with Shay - My lucky 7 goes like this: 2 stamp sets + 2 die sets + 3 tools (blending tools, die cutting machine, adhesive)

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card. If you did, please let me know! I would love to hear your thoughts on this one.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Thanks for being Amazing | Card

Hello friends,
Belated World Card making Day to all of you, my fellow crafters. I know, I have been missing in action for a long while here. I have been really busy with commissioned order work and festivals here in India. I do have a couple of cards to share this month which I will be sharing soon on my blog and social media. If you would like to stay updated with all my latest works, please follow me on Instagram. I tend to share all my latest creations there!

I am very excited to be participating in Winnie and Walter's WCMD Celebrations. World Card Making Day, for me, is always associated with the challenges that W & W put up on their blog every year. It's almost like a tradition for me! :) I couldn't create as many cards as I would have liked to this year, however I did manage to create a total of three cards. Here's a look at the first one:

This card took me a while to create! I started by stamping the mini triangles border stamp set from the Scenery: Stripes 2 set. I stamped the border several times so that it would create the background for my card. For my focal, I die cut a white circle and stamped several flowers and leaves from In Bloom: Ashlee's Rosie Posies and In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet stamp sets. I stamped them on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest cardstock and fussy-cut them. I adhered some of the images directly on the circle while I popped few on foam tape for dimension.

To complete my card, I die cut the mini 'Thanks' Cutaway (I got this die as a free gift with my order from Winnie and Walter) several times from black cardstock and fun foam to give it a raised look. I added few clear sequins to finish off my card.

I am entering this card in the following challenges by Winnie and Walter:
Black and White Background Challenge with Crystal
Stamp Images Mash Up Challenge with Jessica
Lucky 7 Limit Challenge with Shay- My lucky 7 goes like this: 3 stamp sets + 3 tools (MISTI, die cutting machine, adhesive) + 1 embellishment (sequins).

That's it for this card! I will be sharing two more cards in the next couple of hours. If you liked this card, please let me know. I'd love to hear from you! :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Trio of Gift Tags | Winnie & Walter

Hello everyone,
I have some really cute gift tags to share today. I love making these and it seems like I am very much into circular tags these days. :D Here's a look at all my tags :

Here is the individual view :

To create this tag, I went with the ombre look. I wanted to use the newly released dies from w and w as they are the perfect size for the tags. I'm especially in love with the Thanks word die.

I started with first die cutting some circles in white cardstock and then stamped and white heat embossed the background using the Mini Scenery stamp : Do You See What I See set. I then did some ink blending using Picked Raspberry Distress ink keeping the top part dark and gradually fading the ink blending, creating an ombre look.

I die cut the sentiment 'Celebrate' and colored it partially using Picked Raspberry Distress ink and the remaining half with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush pens. The flowers and leaves are stamped and die cut using the Winnie and Walter: The Big, the Bold and Extras set. The small poinsettia flower is from the In Bloom : Hollie's Festive Florals. I also added some Diamond Stickles over my die-cut sentiment to add some bling.

I made another tag keeping the design same, but changing the ink colours. I have used Fired Brick and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks to get the orange colour. I ink blended the colours and created an ombre background.

The flowers and leaves are stamped and die cut using the Winnie and Walter: The Big, the Bold and Extras stamp set. The small poinsettia flower is from the In Bloom : Hollie's Festive Florals. I also added some Diamond Stickles over my die-cut sentiment to add some bling.

Thanks Tag

The circle for this tag is cut from the w and w Ring in the Celebration cutaways. I love the scalloped look of it and even though it is not a stand-alone die, I think it looks great as an individual tag.

I heat-embossed the Mini Scenery : Do You See What I See using Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder. This time I used Broken China Distress ink to create the ombre background. The poinsettia and the foliage are from the In Bloom : Hollie's Festive Florals. I also added the thanks die cut from the Thanks Cutaway to complete my tag.

I am entering these in the following challenges :

I hope you liked my tags :) I would love to hear what you think of them. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Congratulations on your new home | Card

Hello friends,
This is my second post for the day. I shared a CAS card in my previous post which you can check out HERE. I love making cards for house-warming and the Winnie and Walter Our Town set is my all time favourite to create cards for this occasion.  This is a very versatile set and has so many possibilities. Here's a look at my card :

I have tried to create a mini scene on my card. I started by first stamping the houses from the Winnie and Walter Our Town set in grey using the Hero Arts Soft Granite ink. I then stamped one of the houses in red to make it stand against the grey background.

Next, I popped two of the houses using foam tape for dimension. I then stamped the little clouds, sun and two trees on either side of the red house and red hearts using various dye inks. The yellow birds are a part of the Winnie and Walter Comfort + Joy set.  I also wanted my houses to have a bit of grounding, so I stamped the little pebbles using the same grey ink.

The sentiment has been masked from two different sets. The 'congratulations on your' is from a Papertrey Ink stamp set and the 'home' is from the Winnie and Walter Happiest of Holidays by Evelin T Designs set. I added some diagonal grey Washi Tape to complete my card.

I hope you liked my card. I would love to hear your comments/suggestions on it. They always make my day :)

Sparkle & Shine | Card

Hello friends!
I have a new card to share today which I made using lots of techniques. Here's a look at it :

I started out by first creating my card background using Ink Smooshing.  I used Mustard Seed and Broken China Distress inks to ink smoosh the background. I also added few black and gold paint splatters.

I then started to work on the focal of my card. I wanted to create a diamond ring so I die-cut out a circle out of white cardstock and then foam mounted it to create a raised look. I then coloured it using Inka Gold in Old Gold. Next, I heat-embossed the diamond from the Winnie and Walter My Precious stamp set using Ranger Super Fine Gold Embossing powder and I slightly coloured it using my Zig markers to give it a hint of colour like the light coming out from a faceted diamond.

I also stamped and heat-embossed the rays using the same embossing powder. The ring, the diamond and the rays were all popped on the card front using foam tape.  I then added some Gold Chevron Washi Tape on the four sides of my card to add some balance to the design. Finally, stamped the sentiment which is also from the My Precious set to complete my card. I have gone very CAS, which is not my forte, but this idea was stuck in my head and I just had to execute it.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges :

Winnie and Walter Background Building Challenge with Mayuri ( I have created my own background by watercoloring the grey stripes)

I hope you liked my today's card. I tried to keep it clean and simple :) I would love to hear what you think of it. Thank you so much for dropping by!

There's no place like Home | Card

Hello friends!
I have a new card to share today which is pretty different from my usual style. This card has no flowers on it. (LOL!)
Here's a look at my card :

I have again used a stencil from CrafTreat on this card. This one is called the Layered Cityscape. This stencil comprises of two designs - the negative and positive of the Cityscape. The positive consists of all the windows and the details that you see in the buildings. The negative creates the silhouette of the cityscape.

To create this card, I first stenciled the silhouette of the buildings using Black Soot Distress ink. I sponged it quite heavily on a watercolour paper to give that extreme crisp black outline.  Using the positive design of the stencil, I create the window details by using the Papericious White Modelling Paste and with a spatula, I spread the paste over the design to create that raised effect. It looks super cool in real life!

I then did some ink blending on the background of the cityscapes using Distress inks and I die-cut a semicircle using a Spellbinders circle die on my card panel which I then popped over the inked background using foam dots. Before adhering the card panel, I stamped some red hearts and the black birds from the Winnie and Walter Our Town and Comfort + Joy stamp sets respectively. I also stamped the sentiment on the card front which is from the Winnie and Walter Happiest of Holidays by Evelin T Designs stamp set. I added a strip of gold glitter paper and a strip of stamped back stripes along with few clear sequins to finish off my card.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges :

I hope you liked my card. I would love to hear your comments/suggestions on it. They always make my day :)

Leading Lady | Post Four

Hello everyone,
Today is my final post as a Leading Lady this month on the Winnie and Walter blog. I am really honoured to have been given this opportunity and I had so much fun working with their old and new releases to create cards and other projects. Today, I have two cards to share and I've gone floral all the way :D

For my first card, I have used the flower from the In Bloom : Elsa's Flora set. I lightly coloured it using Peacock Feathers Distress ink and did my shading using Prismacolor pencils.

The leaves, berries and the entire foliage is also from the In Bloom: Elsa's Flora stamp set. I wanted to go with a monochromatic look by highlighting only the colour of the flowers against the grey background so I coloured my leaves and other foliage in grey.

I also added a pop of colour here and there by adding the stamped and fussy-cut berries. If you see closely, I have also done some light yellow stenciling using the Do You See What I See Creative Screening.  The sentiment banner is from the The Big, the Bold and the Extras stamp and die set. I finished off the card by adding few black paint splatters and silver sequins.

Moving on to my second and last project.

This card has a riot of things going on. Haha :) It's a rather full design and I tried to do something different. I love the way the colours pop against the black background!
I have used the flowers and leaves from the In Bloom: Anna's Flora and In Bloom: Renee's Leaves. I stamped the images on watercolour cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink and did loose watercolouring using various shades of Distress inks. I fussy-cut the images and have popped some using foam-dots while others are stuck directly on the card  panel.

For the sentiment, I have heat embossed the word 'thankful' from the Happiest of Holidays stamp set and the 'for your friendship'  is also from the same set. The butterflies have been die-cut using the Audrey's Cutaways die set and watercoloured. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

I added some white paint splatters to make the look more bold and dramatic :)

So with that, we come to an end to this post. I had a wonderful time sharing my projects and hope you liked them too. I would love to hear what you think of today's cards :)

Thank you so much for dropping by! I have a $30 gift card to give away to the w and w store.

Have a nice day everyone!

Winnie & Walter Leading Lady | Post Three

Hello everyone,
Today's my third post as the Leading Lady this month and I have some gifting ideas to share at the w & w blog. I am sharing some gift tags and candy boxes today which were made mainly using two sets - Ring in the Celebration and In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms stamp and co-ordinating die sets. I have also used two of their older sets - The Big, the bold and Party and In Bloom : Hollie's Festive Florals along with their new release.

Here's a look at the tags first :

And here are the individual pictures :

To make these tags, I first stamped the different circles from the Ring in the Celebration stamp using a variety of dye inks and Versafine Onyx Black ink. I die cut the circles with their coordinating dies to not only form the base of my tags, but also to embellish them.
If you have a look at this set, you will find that it has many layering circles which fit into each other very beautifully. I took advantage of this fact to not only create frames and my centre images, but also for my sentiments.

On the floral tags, I have used a combination of the Ring in the Celebration stamp + coordinating die set, In Bloom : Shirley's Blooms stamp + coordinating die set and In Bloom : Hollies Festive Florals. The sentiments are from The Big, the Bold and Party set which were heat embossed with white embossing powder on a strip of black cardstock and foam mounted on the frames. I did have a lot of fun creating these and mixing and matching the various stamped images.

Next up I have a very fun way to use the Ring in the Celebration set to create candy boxes for either party favours or just for gifting.

Here's a look at them :

To make these boxes, I took a piece of white cardstock measuring 7 inches by 7 inches and stamped several of the smaller images from the Ring in the Celebration set using various colored dye inks. Then, using a Candy Box Punch Board I created the box. I die cut a window using the dies from the same set and added some acetate behind. I did a very light color wash using a watercolor brush and Distress inks.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have created and you find these ideas useful. I am definitely crushing on the Ring in the Celebration stamp and die set big time and definitely feel it's a very good buy :)

I would love to hear what you think of them. Don't forget to comment on my blog post for a chance to win the $30 gift certificate to the Winnie & Walter store. Winner will be announced on my blog, at the end of the month.

Have a nice day everyone!
