Today Rob drove us up over Donner Pass and down into Sacramento. I have been through on the freeway many times on our way to Palo Alto, but have never stopped. So this was a treat. We spent the morning in Old Sacramento, the historic district next to the river. After lunch we went to the Railroad Museum, which turned out to be fun and instructive. On the way back to Reno we stopped at IKEA so Lucy could get a frame for her NY Subway poster. We made an unsuccessful attempt at sampling some cream puffs at the Westfield Galleria Mall in Roseville. Beard Papa's has closed in that location. Oh well. Back home, Lucy framed her poster, which now looks really good.
