Honey Bee - Zen Bouquet Birthday Wishes

Hi All,

I am back again to share another card I made. It's a birthday card I made for my friend.

For the card, I heat embossed the Zen Bouquet stamp on watercolor paper with embossing ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder.
After that I roughly added lines of colors using Zig clean clear real brush pens and blended the colors with water brush.
For extra dimension, I die cut the panel using my new tag die from Lil' Inker. Added another vellum tag die cut using smaller tag from the same tag die set.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the "Happy" sentiment from Honey Bee's Happy everything stamp set and die cut "birthday" using Mama Elephant Birthday Creative Cut die from glitter cardstock. Here is a closer look.

Supplies Used :

CardStock : Neenah Solar white, Strathmore Cold Press Watercolor paper
Stamps : Honey Bee Zen Bouquet, Honey Bee Happy Everything
Dies : Mama Elephant Birthday Creative Cut, Lil'Inker Anytime Tags Die set
Coloring : Zig Clean Clear Real Brush Pens
Others : Ranger super fine embossing powder, Vellum

I hope you liked my card. Do leave a comment. It makes me super happy. :)
Have a great day!

Guest Designing at Paru's Card Making Challenges

Hi All!

I am super excited to be guest designing at Paru's Card Making Challenges! The challenge is to make a card or a tag with a Hint of Gold.

I made both a card and a tag to provide some inspirations for the challenge.

Diwali Card :
I love making Diwali cards! Since it's already October I took it as an opportunity to make one. I used Fringed die from MFT and die cut strips of cardstocks in warm colors. I also diecut a strip of Gold foiled cardstock and added in between to add a touch of gold. Then I adhered all the strips to create an Ombre effect.
I also heat embossed Diya Stamps from Mudra's new Diwali release. The sentiment is from Varna's Diwali stamp set which they released last year.

Here is a closure look at the gold + Ombre effect.

Best Wishes Tag :

For the tag, I diecut a watercolor cardstock using Avery Elle Bookmark die and then used Gansai Tambi watercolors for some rainbow effect. I heat embossed the Lacy circle stamp from Waffle Flower using white embossing powder.  For the gold, I heat embossed Honey Bee's Zen Floral Stamps on vellum with gold embossing powder from Ranger and fussy cut the images and created my own bouquet. I added some sentiment and Twine to finish off my tag. It's an any occasion tag which you can use for birthday's, anniversaries, Diwali, etc.

A closer look at the gold effect. The gold embossing on Vellum looks fabulous!

That's it from my side. I hope I inspired you a little today to make some festive projects with a pinch of Gold. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Have a great day!

Sequin Shaker birthday card + Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop!

Hi All!

Today I am participating in "Cutting Edge Blog Hop" hosted by Pretty Pink Posh, for those who love die cutting... and I am one of them..

Here is my card I made for the hop. I made a birthday Shaker card using my favorite dies (Spellbinders Label 8) to make shaped card. Those who follow me would know I love the shape so much!:

A view from the side :

I locked the sequins using acetate and double sided foam tape. So when you shake the card, the sequins move around. I am sure kids will love it. Like I did! I had a difficult time yesterday deciding on the pattern papers to choose.. finally I picked my choice.. all papers are from different paper pads of different brands.. I matched the MS cupcake chipboard with the dotted PP from MME..

Here is the list of supplies I used :

1. Cutting Dies : Spellbinders Label 8 nesting dies for card base and sequin frame. PTI Birthday Die
2. Cupcake Chipboard : MS Modern Festive Collection
3. Papttern Papers : Mix of My Mind's Eye
4. Sequin : From Stash

Thanks for stopping by!

Stretch Your Stamp Class Last Takeaway

Hi All!

Sharing another card I made with my learning from SYS Online Card Class. I simply adored the card made by Yana Smakula, from guest faculty using paper smooches stamps and masking.

Here it is,

I did some masking as taught by Yana. Loved the colors on the Kraft paper. I so wanted to try embossed die cutting which is trending now a days. After all the stamping, I cut "Hello" sentiment using cutting dies. After that I cut 5-7 "hello" die cut using black cardstock, stacked and glues all the die cuts together keeping the stamped die cut at the top. This will give you a sturdy chipboard shaped "Hello" die cut.

See, how thick it is.. I deliberately used black cardstock so that the diecut pops out a little.

I hope you guys liked it.

Supplies used :

1. Stamps : Paper Smooches Botanical 2
2. Dies : Avery Elle Hello Die
3. Inks : PTI Smoking Shadow, Raspberry Fizz, Scarlet Jewel and Enchanted Evening Ink Cubes
4. Cardstock : PTI black and Kraft Card stock.

Challenges Entered :

1. Paper Smooches - Anything Goes (Ends 23rd Aug)

2. Penny Black All Sorts  - Anything Goes (Ends 3rd September)
3. Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes (Ends 3rd September)
4. Brown sugar challenge. - Let's get Krafty
