Christmast Remix: Berry Sweet Holiday + Giveaway Winners

Yayyyy!! It’s finally here — no, it’s not Thanksgiving or Black Friday or even the end of the release — it’s the day we can show off one of my favorite classic stamp sets: Berry Sweet Holiday.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. To start, the polymer set, Berry Sweet Holiday has 13 images: two focal images, four sentiments, and 7 little accents to help make your cards really sing.

The digital versions of these images are really fantastic too. Merriest Berries digi download gives you THREE versions of the core image, with and without a candy cane at the center. Sometimes a gal just likes to have options.

And that cute little wreath!!! As I was drawing it, I was even like, “I love you, little wreath. Thank you for popping out of my head and onto this paper.” Find this download in Wreath: Felt Leaves and Fruits.

This classic card made by Bloomie alum Tosha Leyendekker shows how you can color Merriest Berries/Berry Sweet Holiday in any color scheme! Isn’t it darling in pastels with lots of sugary glitter?

Or look at the work of one of our newest Instant Gardeners, Gloria Stengel, who was inspired by the colors of peacock feathers for her festive creation.

But wait, there’s more! Brand new cards by our designers that will show you even MORE ways to use these stamps. And did I mention that they are ON SALE?

Day 11: Festive Beverage Gift Tags

Howdy all!  Welcome the ELEVENTH day of our 12 Days of Christmas here at Power Poppy! I'm your hostess Allison Cope. We only have one more day to share some fun and festive gift ideas for this holiday season.

We should also point out this is a part of our Power & Spark Challenge. Instead of just one theme, create something inspired by one of our 12 days of tutorials, link up your creation HERE and you'll be in the running for this month's challenge. Just think you are creating something fun --creating a gift for someone -- AND you have a chance at winning $50 in Power Poppy Bucks at the Power Poppy Shop!

Today I'm sharing a variety of festive beverage tags featuring all kinds of amazing stamp collections.

The beauty of wine tags is that they can be almost any size!!  Yup... you can make them wide or thin, tall or short, multi-layered or just one simple layer.  So each one of my tags today is not like the other.

If you know me, I'm a super-duper purple fan so I always find a way to incorporate it into my creations... event Christmas ones!  So my first tag is all about purple.  It features the large "Winter Wonderland" stamp set, colored in using Copic Markers.

To create the snowflake background, I used the snowflake cluster from the "Glitter House Village" and I used the simple sentiment from the "Berry Sweet Holiday" to finish off the tag.

My second beverage tag features one of my favorite new stamp sets.  It's called "Tweet Tidings".  This cheery tag has a few touches of silver to add some sparkle.

I colored my images using Prismacolor Pencils.

Not all of our hostesses are female!  So I tried to create a little more masculine feel to it.  So I grabbed my "Action Santa" and "Holly Golightly" stamp sets and created this more manly tag.

I chose to die cut the end of my tags in a little bit of a different angle.  I even matched it to my mini hanging tag.

My final beverage tag features the "Dream Wedding" stamp set.  I thought it would be completely fitting to give to your New Year's Eve party hostess.

I even made it to be a fun shaker element with some sparkly confetti inside.  Instead of die cutting a hole I chose to use a length of wide ribbon to hang my tag around the neck of my beverage.

For variations on these tags try:
  • Adding a card to the tag so it opens up with a message for your recipient
  • Add a pocket to drop in a gift card (coffee shop, liquor store, etc.)
  • Add a detachable homemade ornament for the receipient's Christmas tree
  • Attach a gift certificate for the local taxi service or a mode of local public transportation

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember, if you try any one of the 12 projects featured during our 12 Days of Christmas -- be sure to link up your creation HERE so that you are in the running for the $50 shopping spree to the Power Poppy Shop! Be sure you pop back tomorrow for our final day of our Twelve Days of Christmas extravaganza as the lovely Kathy Racoosin dazzles us with her challenge inspiration! Until then... cheers!

Friday

Holiday Day 5: Berry Sweet Holiday

Well, happy Friday to you!! Typically at the end of the week, we let our creative feelings flow with the Good Vibe 5. Maybe you’ve noticed, but this whole release week has been like Good Vibes Infinity! Happiest Holiday sneak previews continue today with the 5th of our brand new clear stamps. They will all be available in the shop on Oct. 24 — be sure to wait for a special promotion to be announced on release day to SAVE when you grab multiple sets.

Remember a few weeks ago when we launched a digital stamp set loaded with holly and mistletoe?

Absolutely bubbling over with berries, ribbons, and leaves, our Merriest Berries digital stamp set was a big hit with our customers and design teams alike...

Isn’t that a lively design? You can go all kinds of colorful directions with this one! It really adds a burst of happy energy to a card front, with the elements twisting and curling so wildly. After seeing oh-so-many adorable cards made with the digital stamp, we decided to introduce the candy-cane-centric design as a clear stamp — along with a bunch more berry sweet bits and pieces and LOADED UP with sentiments.

Soak up the cheery vibes of today’s preview, Berry Sweet Holiday.

Berry Sweet Holiday doesn’t just have this focal image, OH NO. We have a second surprise wreath image that we’re bringing in to clear... one that’s been a favorite digi since we introduced it last year... think about stitching and felt and pom-poms. Do you know the one?

Something else special about this set... our very own Allison Cope contributed a number of wonderful sentiments to complement the set — and I don’t think they could be any sweeter!!

Let’s go check out the cards the Bloomies came up with featuring Berry Sweet Holiday — you’re sure to get riled up to create!

For EVEN MORE inspiration using the main focal image of this set (the digital set is shown both with and without the candy cane), check out our Pinterest board HERE.

Ohhhhhh friends, we have a really, really, REALLY delightful set to share with you tomorrow, so be sure to come back and visit. And, thank you for leaving your lovely comments on the blogs so far — we just soak up all of your cheerful words and encouraging energy and it fills us with the good stuff! Love you all so much!
