christmas outfit sorted...

Good morning everyone...I need a little bit of advice, my Daughters cat isn't eating very well, she has hardly eaten half a bowl full of food since she arrived...any ideas how to tempt her...I have tried her favourite things like ham but she isn't having any of it...I reckon she is missing her owners even after all the fussing she is getting from us...should I be worried or will she eat when shes good and ready?...I didn't do any crafting at all yesterday, I had a little play of some things like cutting out stuff but didn't really get down to any card making etc...in fact I even cooked instead of crafting...I know shock horror eh, imagine cooking instead of crafting lol...I'm sure that urge will pass real soon though...right now onto my card for today...I love this fabulous little fella and he just goes to show you don't need to colour him black, let your imagination go wild or do what I did and colour some bits paper piece him a lush Christmas outfit...this is the fabulous new Edwin With Derby hat from the Little London collection ...hes great isn't he and look so dapper in his festive suit and hat...I coloured him with distress inks and the papers I used for the piecing and card are from the stunning new Echo Park - Reflections Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad...I cut some of the checked paper into holly leaves and used a sprinkling of red buttons (some from the Big Red - 25g bag) to finish...everything but a few of the buttons are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from The Sweet Stop Challenge the Marvelous Magnolia Challenge and the Dream Valley Challenge too...I'm off out today I'm a little fed up babysitting (or should that be cat sitting) and need some fresh air I think, I'm sure the cat will be fine for a while without me fussing over her (although Phil is just as bad as me lol)...so I'm heading to Town with my lovely Dad for a little bit of retail therapy and get some things I have put off until I made a trip into town if you know what I mean...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and any advice about the cat would be greatly appreciated

bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrr....achoo....

Good morning everyone...thank you all so much for the well aimed boot up the bum but it didn't work because...I have the cold....right all together now aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh you poor thing...I'm coughing sneezing and sniffing like a good un...poor Phil came home to me lying on the sofa feeling really sorry for myself and lying in a massive pool of self pity lol...good thing is there is a cold going round but it seems to be one of those quick virus thingies (technical term) that doesn't last too long so your kicks wont have gone to waste and as soon as I can get myself out of my pool everything will be back on par asap....so there was nothing done at all yesterday and we were supposed to head out for afternoon coffee when Phil got home but the pool wouldn't allow me lol...I couldn't even head out with my lovely Dad as he COPD and I couldn't risk giving him a cold because it never stops there with him it always gives him a nasty chest infection and hes way to precious to pass it on too...Phil's grand he never gets anything at all, in fact he hasn't even had any childhood illness' that we all got...isn't he a lucky one, well in one way but then he gets to look at the hangdog, snotty expression on my face when he gets home doesn't he lol...anyway enough self wallowing and sniffing and onto my card for today...how cute is that fabulous Edwin Magnolia stamp, hes from the Christmas Story release and is called Edwin with Windling Fern...I coloured him with distress inks and paper pieced his hat and sweater with some of the stunning papers from the new Echo Park - Winter Wishes pad...I used the same pad for the background paper but I stamped the trees on it using the Kaisercraft Clear Stamps - Turtle Dove stamp set, the sentiment is from the same set too, I love these Kaisercraft stamp sets they are such a bargain for what you get, I finished with some Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust and a gingham ribbon bow from my stash...everything I used except the ribbon is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering it for the Midweek Magnolia's challenge, Tildas Town challenge and the Marvelous Magnolias challenge too...right I'm off back to my bed with a box of tissues and a couple of tablets for my pounding head...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and watch out for those virus' they sneak up on you when you least expect them

winter wonderland...

Good morning everyone...did you all have a fabulous weekend I hope so and what did you think about my candy...lush isn't it, I have been bursting to tell you about it but had to wait, but I hope you like it and will join in...we had a lovely weekend, Sunday lunch was fabulously yummy of course as Phil makes it and then we all went for a mooch around the shops together...since our Daughter moved out I miss those kinds of days but it makes them even more special when they happen...I even got some more Christmas presents so the list is going down fast...I have been sneezing and coughing for the last two days so I said to Phil, I think I caught your cold, he says...the only virus you have is a computer virus...cheek lol...ooohhhhh I do love a witty man, couldn't eat a whole one though lol...right onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly challenge and this month is our fabulous Marie-Theresa's turn to choose and she has chosen Anything Christmas with pearls...I used this gorgeous little Edwin on Christmas Eve from the Sweet Christmas collection, when I first looked at this stamp I thought Edwin was a strange shape until I stamped it and realised hes walking downhill and that's why his legs are like that, that made much more sense...I coloured Edwin with distress inks

I added some of the 3mm pearls mixed bag as snowdrops too...the lush fabulously yummy letter paper is from the Sweet Christmas 12x12 paper collection and called Christmas Letter, I cute a few of the letters from the paper and used more pearls for the berries on it...I finished with some ribbon and I decided to use some of the paper to decorate the inside too, everything except the ribbons are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I'm entering this for the DYSU Inspired by a Song challenge (I chose Winter Wonderland, you know the one that goes 'Walking in a Winter wonderland') I'm also entering it for the Christmas Stampin' all year round challenge (I haven't used the Edwin stamp before) and the Crafty Calender challenge too...I cant wait to see what you come up with for our challenge and when you have time you could hop on over to Bunny Zoe's Crafts blog to check out the rest of the teams amazing makes...I'm finishing a project today, one you will see on Thursday...whatever your up to have a fab day and don't forget if you haven't joined in my candy yet pop on down now as you never know do you

groovy baby...

Good morning everyone...wwwooohhhooo Friday again and almost the weekend although our weekend will be busy, are you up to anything nice this weekend?...this card really made me smile as it reminded me of my lovely Phil's old passport, it wasn't an old one but if you have seen piccys of Phil he is a little follicley challenged but the photo in the old passport was of him with long red hair and it always made me go 'groovy baby' and always made me chuckle...this card is for our new challenge over at Just Magnolia & hAnglar and sTanglar challenge, this week its our lovely teamie Michelle's choice and she chose one of my very favourite things, paper piecing, in case you hadn't noticed I love doing this, I really think I'm addicted to cutting out you know, even when I was small I would cut out all the paper dressing dolls from comics etc and if I didn't like their clothes I would trace them and draw and colour my own, crafter's start young don't they lol... this gorgeous little Edwin is called Cool Edwin and I used these fantastically coloured new BoBunny 6x6 VickiB paper pad papers, I'm so loving the fab bright colours in this pad, the pad and Edwin are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I used some Thicker's for the groovy and added a mix of buttons to finish...the fabulous sketch is from Mojo Monday, I'm also entering it for the Crazy 4 challenges, Papertake weekly challenge and Pear Tree Designs challenge too...if you have time pop on over to our Just Magnolia challenge and have at all that lush paper piecing...have a brilliant day everyone
