Sunday Stamper - Week 367 - Just An Old Fashioned Girl

Goooodly Afternoon Stampers and a very happy  Sunday to you all!  Thanks for your entries into the last challenge... I loved seeing all your gorgeous entries!  This week the theme is ... VINTAGE.   To join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something; a card, canvas, ATC, a piece of altered art... the choice.. it be yours! Add in some stamping and then hop back here, leave me a comment with a link to the place you are showing your entry and I can come see you.   If you haven't got a blog, you can join in via Facebook (just tag me name) or by emailing a small res.pic to me or by leaving me a link to your Pinterest or any other photo hosting site.  The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 5th December 2015.

My entry is a whoppping mahooooosive canvas (12" x 16") I decorated... it was my class sample from my Melt Pot class yesterday for Ali-Craft in South Hykeham... we had a glorious day getting all hot with the Melting Pots... you all know how much I love anything with a smidge of beeswax slapped on it and this canvas sure is covered in it!

The papers are from Prima's Archivers collection - they are beautiful... the colours are right in my comfort zone... and I just edged them with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to give them a bit of oomph.  The flowers are made from Tim's Tattered Florals die... they are my fave flowers to make - you'd never have guessed that right?  I just edged these with Aged Mahogany to give them a bit of a pinky tone and then dipped them right into beeswax to coat them... I did the same with the leaves which are Tim's Tattered Leaves... and then I added a butterfly - stamped onto the same card and also dipped into the wax and pearls added for his body.  The birdy is my Carabelle Studio FAVE bird stamp EVER *and I have a lot of birdy stamps!* ... he was stamped onto the same papers and cut out, inked and then glued down before I waxed so he looks part of the design.  The little embellies are moulds of UTEE poured from the Melt Pot and then generously coloured with Treasure Gold - I am loving the flower... the different metallic colours look so pretty IRL.

Thanks for looking and have a great rest-of-the-day... I am about to bung a leg of lamb into the oven (yes, the Domestic Goddess in me is alive and kicking today) and I shall be serving it with cauliflower cheese (nomnomnom), swede and carrot mash, roastie spuds and sweetheart cabbage.  A few Yorkshire Puds will also put in appearance along with my special mint gravy too... ohalalaaaa... and wait til I tell you what is for pud!!!  Mmmm, I am positively drooling and having to sit on my hands so I don't go and nibble at it already... my favest raspberry cheesecake and..... double cream!!!  I can hear my hips saying "please no" but today I shall be listening to my mouth which is saying "give me something tasty!"   Well, it is a well known fact that raspberry cheesecake and double cream is actually completely free of calories if eaten after lamb... they cancel each other out you see... *ahem*    Right, I shall love you and leave you and say.... TTFN!

Sunday Stamper - Week 355 - Everyday I Write The Book

Goooodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Sunday to you all!  Thanks for your fabulous entries for the last challenge.  The new theme this week is... BOOKS.  You can interpret the challenge how you like: use book pages as a background, use them for decorations, make a book, stamp a book... the choice, it be yours!   To join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something, it can be anything you fancy.  Add in the theme AND some stamping *this is THE important bit guys, please remember your rubberstamps!*  and then hop back here, leave me a comment with a link to the place you are showing your entry and I can come see you.   If you haven't got a blog, you can join in via Facebook (just tag me name) or by emailing a small res.pic to me or by leaving me a link to your Pinterest or any other photo hosting site.  The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 9th May 2015.

Massive apologies for the lack of blogging and missing last weeks' Sunday Stamper - I had... MANFLU!  That is official, I know because I spent most of the time laying supine on the sofa moaning and whinging... blimey, it knocked me for six!  However, I am over the manflu (apart from a very annoying sniff that is being persistant!) and back to normal again.

My entry this week is a demo tag from a few weeks ago.  Book page covered tag with a bit of stencilling... a fancy rose made using the new Prima Archivers papers and some rusty embellishments found whilst being a Womble and rummaging around car parks... car parks are the best place for picking up rusty buttons and washers and whatnots!

More apologies for not visiting all your latest entries... I said thank you above because I know they will all be fabby... I am on a mammoth catch up now so hopefully I will be with you by the middle of the week!   I shall away now... hope you have a great day!  Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Lucky, Lucky, Lucky....

...I should be so lucky... lalalalaaa... did you hear me signing?  No? Probably not a bad thing as I do tend to make peeps' ears bleed when I warm up the vocal chords.  Anyways. I am indeedily lucky because the delicious folks at Snazzy's have sent us teamies some new stuff to play with this month... and it is only the Sunrise, Sunset goodies from the one and only Ania Dabrowska for Prima.  Oh! My! Good! Lordy Lordy!  It is LUSH.  I have some exciting news too... this week, for one week only, there's a special challenge running over on the Snazzy's blog... HERE is the link to the post so you can nip over and visit. And, what is more... there is a prize! Oh yesh, a LUSH prize!!!   And... you can also see some of the projects that the teamies have made with said lush stash.  Here's my project in its entirety....

It started life as a canvas board in a frame, making it about 8" square.  True to form, I used the heavenly papers to create a paper blocked background... seriously, those papers, well, once I had wiped off the drool and stroked them for several days, I finally got brave and cut into them... worth it I think, be brave, cut into your papers, they love it!!!  (that's what I tell meself lol)

A very light wash of Trad Tan paint to blend all the papers together, then a coat of Glue & Seal and then once dried, I got cracking with the embellishments...

I used a charcoal pencil and Cut & Dry Nib to create the shading between the overlaps on this one, I wanted to do a more subtle shading than my normal Stabilo All Pencil.   The flowers are plain old white ones that had a generous squirt of Orange Sunset, Post Box Red and Black Dylusions and then some added bling with Ancient Copper Cosmic Shimmer sprays.

I broke up the background slightly by stamping my "new fave" stamp, which is the little dotty stamp, also from Ania's collection.  Stamping in Jet Black Archival and heat setting as we have the Glue & Seal layer making it a waterproof surface.  Once these had dried, I set about altering some of the wooden embellies that are also in the range.

The chequerboard (always going to be a winner with me... ) was painted black and the scallopy bit was coloured with Treasure Gold.  The metal embellies are Graphic 45 - the butterfly was overstamped with a script stamp, again using Jet Black Archival... and the flowers, I used a pair of pliers and changed the shape of the petals.

And there you have it... an altered canvas made into a special piece of wall art.  The collection that Anna has put together is second to none, I was lucky to see all the goodies at CHA and knew immediately I *needed* it all... the embellies are SO gorgeous, the metal in the flowers is sturdy but can be shaped and also, can be cut into too!    I shall away now, I have a busy day.  This Room of Trash is getting totes out of hand, I needs to get it organised and sorted because I have a project in my head I want to get made... and at the moment, every single flat surface is covered in boxes, stash, junk... and every chair has boxes stacked on it... nightmare! I thinks I may be some time lol   Thanks for looking... have a great day!  TTFN

Sunday Stamper - Week 252 - Hip To Be Square

Gooodly Morning Stampfans and a very happy sunny Sunday to you all!  Many thanks for the gorgeous nature inspired entries for last weeks challenge... wow, you all made beautiful art.  This week is a nice simple theme... and it is... SQUARES.   To join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something - it can be anything you fancy.  Add in the theme and some stamping, pop back here with a link to the place you are showing your entry and then I can come visit you.  Those of you who don't have blogs/web-photo-hosty thingy's can join in via email (my email is in the sideybar... ) or on Facebook (just tag my name and I will be able to visit that way)  The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday April 13th 2013.

Apologies for the later than normal posting of the challenge this week - being as Chez Sheridan appears to be living in the dark ages, our internet is still ADSL, which means, of course, that the slightest breeze takes away all possibilities of getting access to my blog, which is, I admit, incredibly irksome.  I was all set to do the post last night and saw the internet had gone red.  And no matter how many times I reset it, grovelled on my knees under the desk to unplug it and re-plug it, a copious amount of begging... nope, it wasn't playing ball.  Gah!   Anyways, it is back on now so on with my post!

This square is an Ikea mirror/frame that is the sample for my class at The Craft Den yesterday.  Lots of lovely paper-blocking going on (I do love a smidge of blocking) and there's some stencilling with Ferro texture paste... and some diecutting in the form of the Mini Tattered Florals and of course, being as I am mad crazy on the Melt Pot at the moment, there are some Faux Porcelain flowers, leaves and twigs.

The black bits are done with a Stabilo All pencil - I love this little bit of my kit soooo much! It acts almost like a charcoal pencil but it is, to me, darker and smudgier.  The papers are Prima's Almanac ones, I LOVE Prima papers and these are a top fave of mine too (see a pattern developing? lol)   And the stamping is the little sprigs across the bottom of the frame - this is an ancient Magenta stamp that I use as a little filler or to add some stamping without it being overbearing.  As ever, I used Black Archival ink to add the sprigs... just remember to heat set it if it is going on a surface that isn't absorbant.

So, yesterday saw me tootling off to Sheffield.  I had planned to get up at 5am so I could have a leisurely coffee and shower and allow my face to subside before make-up applications... I still believe that there is a troll living under my bed: during the night he gets a sink plunger and applies it to my face, repeatedly, making it all sticky outy and puffy!  *yuk*  Also, he has access to a pot of super strength hair gel which he puts onto my hair and then scrunches it up.  Either that or I have a very strange sleep habit lol   Anyways, said troll under the bed  worked his magic during the night and also, the little critter turned my phone alarm from Saturday to Sunday.  So that meant that I was reliant on the diddy alarm... which did, indeedily, awaken me.  What it failed to stop me doing was sitting on the edge of the bed and nodding off and snuggling back under the duvet again, which is what happened!   Until Grim said "Hels, what time are you leaving again?"  To which I replied "7"  And he said "It is 6.43"   "WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  screeches I.  Next are scenes of me haring about the house, making coffee, slurping coffee at scald-the-tongue speed and attempting to apply make up to eyes that have been visited by the troll with the sink plunger.  And I was out and on the road in 20 mins!  And did you know, when you go over... ahem... a certain speed, Jane the SatNav makes a weird boinging noise?  No, I didn't know that either... ahem.... whoops!   Right, on that bombshell I shall say... thanks for looking, have a grand weekend!  TTFN

Sunday Stamper - Week 249 - Brown Eyed Girl

Goooodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Sunday to you all.  Big thanks for all your grand entries for last weeks challenge... on with this week which sees a nice and easy "colour" theme... to use... BROWN somewhere on your design.  To join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something, it can be anything you fancy.  Add in the theme AND some stamping and then pop back here and leave a comment with a link to the place you are showing  your entry.  If you haven't got a blog or web-photo-hosty thingy, you can also join in via email or on Facebook.  The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 23rd March 2013.

It is a little known fact about me... you know, that I loves brown (ok, everyone knows it is my comfort zone lol)  Anyways, when I got my Snazzy's DT pack last month I fair did a whoop-de-whoop because it was the Engraver collection from Prima... and lots of browns and neutrals in the colour palette.  I had hoped to be able to get this particular piece finished before today but alas, I ran out of time.  So, instead, I finished it off last night after my class and decided to use it for the Sunday Stamper.

You will see my fave paper blocking technique going on, this is a really cool way of using up all those ickle scraps of paper you have kicking about in your crafty stash.   The blocks were just glued onto the canvas with a bit of Cosmic Glue and layered as I went to add in some depth.

The stamping is a little bit frugal on this piece but it still qualifies because if you look closely you will be able to see some script on the metal Graphic 45 butterfly... I did that with Jet Black Archival and then heat set it... and also the little black dotty patches... that is a brand spanking new stamp from the genius that is Finnabair (HERE is her blog) and it just so happens that Snazzy's have some of her new Sunrise Sunset collection fresh in stock.. ooohlalalaa... don't tell anyone but... ahem... I have a little basket sitting there, FULL of the new goodies... and they will be coming home with me later today!  Teehee!  Well, it is compensation for my terrible disappointment with the gorgeous shoes that were made for pixie feet... I got the refund... so ... erm... I spending it on... stash!  Like I said before... stash doesn't have to fit rofl

Anyways... that is more than enough wafflingtons from me for one day... I shall away as I am up early again for my second class at Snazzy's... thank you to the lovely ladies who came along to get all hot and bothered in my Melt Art class today, was lovely to see you again/meet you!   Have a fabby weeks peeps.... Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Melted Chocolate & Cappuchino...

...mmm, nomnom-nommety-nom! Sounds like an edible treat doesn't it? Actually, it's the name of the two colours I plucked from the Drawer of Sprays last night when I fancied myself a little play in the Room of Stash. The Melted Chocolate is a gorgeous lush Dylusions Spray and the Cappuchino is a Perfect Pearl Mist. Together? LOVE the effect!

So, I had a little faff with some of those gorgeous Prima papers that I am lurving at the moment. I layered some onto a tag and did some distressing of the edges and edged them with Gathered Twigs DI so they looked nice a scruffy. I used the Melted Chocolate to spray lightly up the tag so the concentration of colour is bottom right hand corner. This was all part of the plan because I had made a big old flower using Prima's and paper roses along with a metal embellie or two and I knew I was going to be spritzing these... so the colour kind of gave some balance to the design. I added some snips of organza and lace, an Adage Ticket, some Idea-ology, a few dangly pearls and a brass dragonfly for the finishing touches.

Today is a very special day indeedily! Oh yesh, it is 13 years today since I uttered the words "'Scuse me, are you Graham?" I was starting my training to be a Train Driver and had been assigned to an experienced Driver, namely, one Graham Sheridan, to shadow him and his shifts for the next 10 weeks. Well, you should have seen the look he gave me when I asked him if he was, indeed, the Driver I needed to find. *this is after asking about 27 other blokes if they were Graham... imagine how nerve wracking that was!* Anyways, the look he gave me *dog look*... and then "yes, who are you?" Poor bloke had been told he had been assigned a trainee - they had just neglected to tell him a) my name and b) that I was starting that day. Thankfully he soon got over the initial "yikes, it is a woman, and a mad one at that" and he really was the best trainer and mentor I could have wished for. And who would have thought that all those years ago we would eventually end up married! Poor bloke got more than he expected that day... hahahaaaaa

Hopefully it will be a nice sunny day today - we are meeting up with some friends (hello Richard and Mary) for a day out, a *whispers so the weather doesn't hear* BBQ and they have the most adorable Springer called Jerry who is going to have little paws run off playing with me! So, I shall away for my beauty sleep (snort... I know, who am I kidding right?) Hope you all have a splendid Saturday. Don't forget to hop back here tomorrow because I have a very special Sunday Stamper challenge... oh yesh, the Sunday Stamper is being sponsored tomorrow and there will be a prize! More about that tomorrow though... I am still sitting here waffling when I should be brushing my teeth and getting into bed! Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Bliss & Birthdays...

...tee hee, isn't it just bliss eh? To be able to have a little play with favourite goodies and make something that (to me) could be edible. Ok, I am probably pushing it a bit but I am in the mood for coffee cake, hence the coffee colours on my latest DT creation for The Stamp Attic. Here's a sneak peek of my tag... and all the deets on how I made it and what I used etc are HERE.

So, I mentioned birthdays in the title.... whose birthday is it? Only my lovely American BFF, Ellen Vargo. I am sure you will have heard my wafflings and seen our "I Challenge Thee's" and our "Recipes" but HERE is her blog... go and have a look - I recommend you take a cuppa and a nice caramel digestive with you, you may be there some time because her art is... ohlallaaa, gorgeous! Ellen is a constant source of support and inspiration to me. There aren't many peeps in the world who will accept someone for who they actually are, warts n'all. These people are rare, no hidden agenda's etc... but Ellen is one of those rare peeps. We met a couple of years ago because of a stamping artist that is Wendy Vecchi. Wendy posted a piccie of a piece I had made on her blog. Ellen saw it, popped over to see my blog, joined the Everything Wendy Vecchi group, and the rest, as they say, is history. I have been incredibly lucky to be able to actually meet Ellen in the real too. Oh yesh, yonder t'internet may make the world a smaller place but to actually meet someone and really get to know them... and still love them for who they are.... well, it is an honour and priviledge to be able to call her my mate. See from this pic... I think I have finally found someone who is dafter than me... and it took me several decades to achieve that... daft as a brush the pair of us lol

We have been lucky - four visits in a year... and now it is nearly a whole 10 months since we were last together... time flies so quickly doesn't it? Still, that will be remedied soon because we have a trip planned for the New Year... I am saving like a loon for it... I will be going there... and I can't wait! So, after all that waffle, I guess all that is left for me to say is ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ellen... I hope you have a day as special as you hun.. wish I could be there to share that cake (not to mention the Cheesy Chester Cheeto's) This pic was taken on Ellen's first visit to England....

And this one was taken on my first visit to Baltimore... oh how I LOVE this photo... actually, I love America... very lots... I can't wait to go back!!! *oh, I said that already lol*

Right, I better get going... remember that pile of ironing from yesterday? Ahem.... still not done! I know, I know, I am going to be getting a reputation for my slatternly behaviour, so I had better go and rectify it (plus, I am running out of clothes lol) As ever, thanks for looking... TTFN!

Skype Cook-out...

...tis me, oh bitten one, I have fair dragged myself here today - actually, the bites are a bit better but I am still feeling a bit ikky but nowhere near as bad as I was yesterday. Anyways, last week, when I was still well (yep, milking it again lol) Ellen and I had a nice impromptu Skypey sesh... and we did another little recipe. Whilst I do love and "I Challenge Thee" I actually prefer the recipes, mainly because we can both use our cunning wiles and pick out our fave *in the moment* techniques and stuff. Ellen's AMAZING creation is HERE.... seriously, that gal certainly knows how to make some gooooorgeous art... oooh, and while you are there, have a little scroll on down her blog, yesterday and the day before (ok, would have been easier to type Monday) Ellen has show her MAHOOSIVE Art Parts project, oh my word indeedily... you need to see it!!! Anyways, here's the recipe (and because I am late posting, I nicked this off Ellen so I didn't need to type it out, well, I am on my death bed after all lol):

- Art Parts Dimensional Sign frame
- Art Part scallop trim as a shelf
- Black and white (or neutral) patterned paper
- All black and white + 1 colour if desired
- Resin flower
- Bottle caps (3 minimum)
- Vintage bottle
- Idea-ology facet with patterned paper on back
- Black paint / gesso in center of frame
- Hand-written message written with white Sharpie pen (to look like a chalkboard)
- Hand-doodled border
- Other embellishments of choice

So. Black Gesso. Can you believe that I don't own any? Nope, not a smidge. I am rectifying that at the weekend for deffo. I used Pitch Black Dabber for the blackboard bit. And yep, it covers it perfectly and it a matte finish too. Time for me to be owning up to my, erm, mistakes. So, we are sitting there, with main Art Part in front of us and a little ding went off in my brain and I saw a "black board" sitting there. SO, I says to Ellen "and handwritten words...." What on Earth!!! I hate my writing... almost as much as I hate green peppers, which is very lots. Anyways, I have said it now, I could see Ellen gleaming with a grin cos she loves adding writing to stuff. Well, I decided that I am no longer going to be dictated to by my finicky side and embraced the writing bit. And I embraced the doodled bit too... until I hated it so much, I painted right over the top of it again... whooops! I did re-doodle and because it was tooooo white, I used my Stabilo All to just knock the whiteness back a bit.

The papers used are my fave of the moment Almanac by Prima - looove the tones and blush colours in these. I added little snippets from the paper pad into the bottle caps and then filled them with Glossy Accents. When I went to visit Ellen last year, we went to a fab Antique Mart in Chesapeake Bay (I needed a whole week there!) and I picked up some tiddly glass bottles... so after saving it for over a year, what better project to put it on eh? I added some twine and a bit of paper to it and then popped some fancy pins into it. Two of them... to signify the two of us. The stars were a pressie from Ellen... the large resin bloom is a Studio 490 Embellish Your Art piece (loooove those) and I added some black Distress Marker to the raised bit to add some definition. The finishing touch is the mini peg with the reminder to Skype on Sunday at 1400 - which is our usual time to sit and have a natter. Oh and the sentiment? It is actually taken from a Stampotique stamp - an anonymous phrase but very apt all the same. And get this... Ellen came up with the fabbest idea, bung magnets on the back so it can sit on the fridge! So I did that too (such a copy cat)

Right, I shall away, I am knee deep in sample making - actually, it is just as well I have lots to do because I think otherwise I would be spending the day in bed, moaning and whinging and generally feeling sorry for myself. Now, is it me or... are there more nasty bites out there this year? I know I usually get the odd bite and last year that horrid spider bite caused me some bother but I know I am not the only one who has been suffering... I reckon it is all this horrible wet weather, drives the little beasties inside and onto my skin. Anyways... I have waffled again... I shall go now... thanks for looking... TTFN!

If I Had A Box Just For Wishes....

...ahh, a line from one of my favourite songs, Time In A Bottle by Jim Croce. Well, I have had this little alterable box for a yonk and a half so I decided it was high time that I... erm... altered it! It is my DT offering this week for The Stamp Attic. To see all the deets on how I made it, altered it, embellished it and the goodies I used, please CLICK HERE to be magically transported on the back of a humungus dandelion clock (I used Indigo Blu stamps on this box, hence the dandelion reference... )

Anyways... that there is a sneakily peekily at the finished piece. I know... it is ... PINK! Whatever is happening to me eh? Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a wee young lass who adored pink. She had pink hair streaks, a pink mobile phone, a pink camera, a really cool pair of pink suede boots (actually, I still have them and I still lurve them and don't care that they are sooo out of fashion lol) Where was I? Ah yes, the girl who loved pink. You know, she loved pink so much she even named her blog after her nickname at that time, which was Pinkle. So began the crafty blog "pinkleart". Then one cold and frosty morning, she awoke and realised that her world had become black and white and grungy. So she cast aside her love of all things pink and turned her back on the colour that she had so loved. Several years intervened where she avoided all things pink at all costs. Then one day, she awoke and realised that actually, pink is a rather nice colour... and there are so many "pretty" shade of pink that they should be embraced and used.... maybe not on everything but... it's a step in the right direction.

Anyways... enough of my inane wafflings... don't forget to hop over to The Stamp Attic... I have done links and all that stuff so if you fancy yourself a nice little bit of retail therapy, they are all there, at the click of a button.... am good like that yes? Thanks for looking... TTFN

Milestones...

...Cor blimey and thrice, I am scraping in by the skin of my teef here because the t'internet has been wonky all day!!! Anyways... as promised, pics of my gift for Grim for our 10th anniversary. But first, a few words... indulge me do :O)) Ten years ago today I married Grim. The man of my dreams. The love of my life. My very best friend. My better half. It took me a fair few years to find him, I admit that a few frogs were cast aside before I found my Handsome Prince, but I endeavoured... and I found him....

We have had some amazing times... and we have had our fair share of crappy times too during the past 10 years... but one thing that has seen us through all of that is our ability to do exactly what my dear old Dad said during his speech at our wedding. He said "May you live, laugh and love". Which is more or less what we have done (yes, for once, I did as my Dad said!) Wise words that have stood us in good stead for all that life has chucked at us. So. This is my little message to Grim; thank you for being YOU, for being with me for the past 13 years, 10 of which married. For being a constant source of support, love and laughter - I know, without you beside me, I would have not coped during the hard times nor would I have enjoyed the good times as much. I love you Grim... you are my all and everything.

I was Skyping with Ellen on Sunday and we decided to do an "I Challenge Thee" because we haven't had a good old crafty sesh together for a yonk and a half. The rules were pretty simples: Shadow Box, mini canvas, paper blocking technique, Texture paste, paint, stamps, stencils and embellishments to include Corked Vials, Screw Eyes and whatever else we fancied. I had a plan in my noddle that I was going to make something for Grim for our anniversary but wasn't sure what. As I went on with the making of this piece it became more apparent to me that it was actually what I was making for him. There are some special bits n bobs on the piece that make it more special for us... and he has told me that he loves it... that's the main thing eh? To see Ellen's finished project, CLICK HERE, it is ... totes-amazeballs.... LUSH, is what it is!!!

Of course, as well as the pressie, I needed a card... so I used the same papers etc to make a card, adding on the little phrases (HOW CUTE!!!) - the papers are Prima BTW, I LURVES them... and then I added some Embellish Your Art bits to add a bit of specialness (word? made up word? whatever lol) to the finished look.

Well, I shall love ya and leaves ya, I am fair pooped with all this excitement - plus we have had another lovely day out in the Dales, the weather was a smidge better - and we have just had THE most amazing meal in the hotel... oooohlalalaaaa... we had a trifle for pud and NEVER have I had such a wonderous pudding... the fact that I can hardly move is neither here nor there. A couple of pics of us... I have more but they are on Grim's camera so I will need to nab that and faff with the pics (in need of photo-shopping methinks lol) I have tonnes of pics from our adventures today so I will try to get those on tomorrow... don't worry, I won't become a holiday-photo-bore... much hahahaaaaa

Thanks for looking... I am off to bed now... up early for our trip home, of course, a little stop off at Art From the Heart might be in order, well, it would be rude not to wouldn't it? Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Hels x
