A Labour of Love!

Hello everyone (again!), I was going to post this card tomorrow but I have just finished it and decided to post it straight away, it has been a total labour of love and it seems like it has taken me ages to do! I started it last week and I have done other cards in between but at one point I thought I was never going to get it finished!!! It is a Whiff of Joy DT card and all of the stamps I have used are from the Whiff of Joy Stamp Kit Birdie Love. I am also entering it into the following challenges; I have followed the sketch from Totally Gorjuss Challenge 20, Copic Creations Challenge 23 is to use green, Stamp Something has a girly theme, Cute Card Thursday Challenge 102 has a green theme, Simon Says Stamp has a mother/girly theme, Quixotic Challenge 15 has a theme of leaves and finally Stamp with Fun Challenge 49 has a spring theme this week.

All the stamps are from Whiff of Joy and all images have been coloured with copics. The DP is from DCWV and the ribbon, jewels, flowers, spacer and brad are from my stash.

On the inside of the card I made a pocket on one side the holds two tags and decorated the otherside. I made an insert that slides inside where a greeting can be written.

My final image shows the two tags and the insert pulled out so you can have a better look. I stitched around all the elements of my card using my sewing machine. Stamp Something & Charisma Challenge 2

Hello everyone, today's card is for Stamp Something where the theme is blue and white and Charisma Cardz Challenge 2 where you have to use something new - my new things are my gorgeous Lockhart stamps. Apologies for the bad photos too, it was a really dull day and I had to use my flash, hence the glare!

I made two cards with the same materials, but with different layouts. The stamps are by Karen Lockhart and they are coloured with copics. My DP is from K & Co and I have used my swiss dots folder and paisly folder for the embossing. I have stiched all around the edges with my sewing machine and finished off with ribbon and jewels. I am really disappointed with these photos the more I look at them, the worse they seem, and they really don't do the cards justice I'm afraid. I can't take anymore either as they have gone off to be sold.

Stamps: Karen Lockhart - Cottage Flowers and Delphinium and Peony

So, onto the card! I have used the wonderful Rae with Journal from Mo's Digital Pencil and she is coloured with copics. My DP is from Basic Grey and I have stitched around all the elements. The ribbon is from my stash, I have computer generated the sentiment and attached it with silver chain. Finally, I finished of with a jewel.
