November is coming to end and in no time we will be busy creating New year cards , I started ! Used the beautiful Floral bloom stamp for spotlight technique.

The sentiment is from Diwali greetings

For this card I used Little Sparrow set from September ,used only the bird and good things form the set.The leaves are from Floral fantasy while the small flower bunch are from Floral Blooms.

The background has crackle texture paste through Grid stencil.

Look who is celebrating her Birthday with a fun ride !

Its our beloved Renne ! I mixed chalkboard look with some paper piecing on this card. The sentiment is from Floral fantasy.

Thank you cards, sending happy mail with Swapna

Hi.. Crafty friends...

Here I am with my second DT post. To be frank I really struggled and liked the process of these 3 cards. At the end I am pretty happy with my cards.

I hope you are playing along with our October challenge which is a recipe. Please do read Guidelines carefully before linking your project.

Card #1
** First card is inspiration for our october challenge.
** I masked the card base (1"around the card base), placed the stencil diagonally on the base and secured with masking tape.
** I mixed candid apple distress ink with texture paste, applied it through stencil. Left it dry on its own.
** Die cut the scalloped frame (bigger) with same CS, few vellum fern flourishes and one white fern flourish.
** I double heat embossed the CS fern flourish with gold embossing powder to give it dimension. Die cut few Thank you, adhered them together and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
** To assemble the card, I foam mounted the frame on card base around the stencilled area. I put silver embroidery floss on top of which glued ferns. Added the sentiment.

Here is a close up of die cut embellishments, just love this texture of white embossing powder.

Card #2

** This was real fun to make. I just kept die cutting stitched bubble die.
** Used distress inks in blue range to blend over them.
** I stamped the image towards bottom and coloured with Staedler water colour pencils.
** Stamped sentiment with black ink.
** Used stitched rectangle die to die cut these panels.
** I glued these panels with liquid glue leaving little space in between.

Here is a closer look of die cut

Card #3

** This is water colour card. I stamped the flourish image with versa mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
** Used zig markers to colour flowers and leaves.
** Die cut the panel and foam mounted it on a grey CS.
** For sentiment, I die cut 2 times with grey CS and once with water colour paper.
** I used Zig marker to add shade to the die cut sentiment.
** Added few sequins.

Challenge # 11 Inspiration and some more

Hello friends Pooja here ,did you check our current Challenge #11 : Recipe ? Its Special as we are celebrating Peek-A-Boo Designs First Birthday ! My teammates have created some beautiful creations and today its my turn to share mine.

My first card is based on current challenge theme with 1/4 red ,1/4 gold ,"One" and dash of glitter.I used the Floral blooms stamp set released this month,This set is so beautiful and perfect for coloring ! I controlled my urge to color the entire image and just colored one bloom and fussy cut it.

The idea was to highlight "Special one". I have used negative of scallop circle die-cut to frame the flower and the sentiment "You are special" is from little sparrow set and I painted "one". Few sequins to embellish the card.

You all must have met Renne earlier(making Rangoli). She has got new cycle this month, calls for a photo ;) I wanted to let everything fade in background and a specific memory to be clear ! Drew images to support the photo and card design and finished of few with few enamel dots.

I wanted the hearts butterfly die-cut to be in focus on this card.Created the background by stamping the butterfly from doodled butterfly set repeatedly with masking and coloring the open space with grey color pencil.

Layered scallop rectangle die-cut and few enamel dots for embellishing and the sentiment is from little sparrow set.

I hope you enjoyed my cards .In case of any query drop a comment we will reply !
