T Stands For The Parts I Didn't Show You

Hi everyone, this will be a short post as we are dashing around trying to make sure we have the things we need for our break and that includes all of the paper work and legal requirements for driving in France!

There are some Paris photos that are still unseen.

One afternoon we went to the Jardins du Palais Royale.

As you can see it was still coat weather but we found a sunny bench and did some people watching.

We also spotted this....
...so small we almost missed it!

We took a different exit out of the gardens

We also visited a couple of Passages, small galleries with lovely shops.

From here it was a short walk to Gallerie Vero Dodat

We didn't take many photos here and I suppose that says it all!

For my T Stands for Tuesday ticket I have a more recent photo, not of hubby - he kept pulling faces then took my phone from me and took this of me. It looks as though we are in a garden but if you look again you will see circles of frosted glass.
It was taken at a local garden centre where our coffee(mine a flat white and hubby's a Mocha) was served for free, courtesy of our loyalty card. We did add some extras though - a scone for me and a cheesecake for hubby.

All being well I'll be back in a few weeks when I hope I will have more luck leaving comments. My computer refuses to let me comment and the tablet is very slow as hubby has a lot of info and films on it!

Thanks for looking, Chris

I love Passage Vivienne, and once had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant there. (OF course I don’t know if it’s still in business). If you have ever seen the movie Zazie dans le Metro, you may remember a very manic scene that was filmed there.
thanks again for the great Paris trip! Enjoy your next one.

I love the rows of trees, there is something quite stately about that.
What a gorgeous place to shop, from the words on the tile floor to the elegant window displays. I think the bookshop is my favorite because of the wood exterior and the postcard displays. Exactly the shopfront I picture when I think of France. So glad you shared!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Hi Chris, lovely photos, I especially like the one with the rows of trees, the mosaic floor, the spiral staircase and of course the bookshop! Would you ever think about moving over to France to live, would that be possible? Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx

It's always wonderful to see your photos Chris. You must excited to go back to France. Is all your paperwork because of European Union rules or other things? I didn't realize it was so much work to drive from country to country. And it's great to see a photo of you with your coffee. Have a wonderful T day and week ahead. When do you leave? Hugs-Erika

I saw lots of things that caught my eye, like that staircase. But the one that really had me sitting up an d taking notice was the shop with the postcards out front.

You look like you have really lost weight. I would gladly share that cheesecake with T. Thanks for these wonderful places in Paris and your coffees with us for T this Tuesday, dear Chris.

Great photos again of Paris. I love that row of trees.
The galleries are beautiful. I bet the shops were very posh.
I’m sorry my blog is a mess. I’ve re-written it, but it’s made little difference. I’m sorry, I don’t know what I’ve done wrong.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

These are beautiful photos, Chris. Paris is such a lovely city and there are always new places to discover. The bear in front of "Si tu veux" reminds me of the wooden toys that my daughter had when she was little. What is all the paperwork you have to do? Is this because of Brexit? That was such a dumb thing.
