Hi all, welcome back to the second challenge over at at Serendipity Stamps challenge blog.

Here's a close up of the pretty basket.

I then stamped the little snowflakes, (currently included in the Special Deal at Serendipity Stamps Winter Cling Set Version 2 for $1!) in Pine and Espresso inks to make the background, stamped the sentiment in Espresso and layered a piece of rich red ribbon onto the card.

Serendipity Stamps New Challenge Blog!

Welcome friends to some exciting new! There's a new Blog challenge in town! I have been on the Design Team at Serendipity Stamps for a few months now, where we had a fortnightly blog hop with just the D.T members showcasing the beautiful stamps from Serendipity.

Jeanne Jachna, a member of  the D.T has put together this new challenge blog, to see what creations fans of Serendipity Stamps make! So please welcome the new Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog!

For this first challenge, we have a theme of Accordian Folding - where you take a die cut and layer together several pieces of the same shape to create a dimensional effect.

Here's my creation:
I have used the beautiful Ornament Die, and cut four baubles out of some Gold Glittered card from my stash.

Then, using my glue gun, I very carefully layered them together to create this lovely topper for my card.

I had some red and green beads in my button box, so I threaded them together with some twine, then glued them in place along the centre of the bauble.

I then layered the bauble onto a red die cut using a Sizzix framelits die, and wrapped some striped ribbon around the patterned paper. Then attatched the topper to the card panel, and added a stripy bow, and hot glued some Christmas flowers and beads to the corner.

The sentiment is also from Serendipity Stamps, stamped in Tuxedo Black onto some Christmas themed paper from my stash.

I do hope you can join us over at the new Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog, and check out what the rest of the design team have created! One lucky participant will win a $20 gift certificate to spend at the Serendipity Stamps store!!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

The Pretty Little Ribbon shop
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge
Papertake Weekly
Top Tip Tuesday

CR84FN 68 Wk 2

Hi all, welcome back to week 2 over at CR84FN - this will be our last challenge for December, as we are taking a break from CR84FN until December 30th.

I have made a Christmas card today, I'm so behind still, and mild panic is setting in!

I have stamped twice and embossed the beautiful Poinsettia from Waltzingmouse Stamps, Big Blooms - Poinsettias in white pearls powder, onto some burgundy card - it has a pearly sheen in real life and is so pretty.

I cut the middle portion out and layered it onto the second stamped image, and added some cream pearls to the centre.

I stamped in Versamark the sentiment from WMS Compliments of the Season 2 and embossed with Sliver Glitter Wow embossing powder onto some white vellum.

I then wrapped this around the card panel and added some cream lace and some silver ribbon.

Inside I added a smaller poinsettia from the same Blooms set, and the sentiment from the same sentiment set.

Do stop by the rest of the design team, for some more inspiration!
