Welcome friends to some exciting new! There's a new Blog challenge in town! I have been on the Design Team at
Serendipity Stamps for a few months now, where we had a fortnightly blog hop with just the D.T members showcasing the beautiful stamps from
Serendipity.
Jeanne Jachna, a member of the D.T has put together this new challenge blog, to see what creations fans of Serendipity Stamps make! So please welcome the new
Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog!
For this first challenge, we have a theme of Accordian Folding - where you take a die cut and layer together several pieces of the same shape to create a dimensional effect.
Here's my creation:
I have used the beautiful
Ornament Die, and cut four baubles out of some Gold Glittered card from my stash.
Then, using my glue gun, I very carefully layered them together to create this lovely topper for my card.
I had some red and green beads in my button box, so I threaded them together with some twine, then glued them in place along the centre of the bauble.
I then layered the bauble onto a red die cut using a Sizzix framelits die, and wrapped some striped ribbon around the patterned paper. Then attatched the topper to the card panel, and added a stripy bow, and hot glued some Christmas flowers and beads to the corner.
The
sentiment is also from Serendipity Stamps, stamped in Tuxedo Black onto some Christmas themed paper from my stash.
I do hope you can join us over at the new
Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog, and check out what the rest of the design team have created! One lucky participant will win a $20 gift certificate to spend at the Serendipity Stamps store!!
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
The Pretty Little Ribbon shop
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge
Papertake Weekly
Top Tip Tuesday
Thanks for stopping by,
