Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge, ColourQ #213

Hi all, I'm here today with a couple of cards for two different Challenges- Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge, and colourQ Challenge. My first card is for the cQc, using these pretty colours:

I've made a New Home card for the creator of Waltzingmouse Stamps Claire Brennan, who has recently moved house. She also managed to host the monthly Pajama Party over on her blog during moving, no mean feat at the best of times.

I have stamped the smaller house image from A Cottage Home by WMS in Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade, the closest colours I have to the inspiration pic.

I layered the panel onto some card which was the closest colour I had to Peach Parfait, and wrapped some purple button twine along the bottom before adding the sentiment in London Fog ink  from A Cottage Home and Big Day Today set, also from WMS.

Finally I finished off with some sparkly gems.

My next card is for the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge, which has a sketch for us to follow this week:

And here's my take:

I have used Two Step Sprig and Big Day Today for this card, stamping the flowers in a couple of different pinks and purples, and cutting out and layering with pop dots.

It's a fairly CAS design, but I took forever deciding how to place the flowers!!

I love this elegant sentiment., finished off with a couple of pink gems.

And that's all from me today, off out with the kids to see Thor 3, I hope it's not too scary!

TRR #65

Morning all, it's a brand new challenge over at The Ribbon Reel, and this fortnight Zuzana is our hostess, with this fabulous picture, and asks that we use the colours in the picture with ribbons and lace.

I took my inspiration from the picture, and tried to re-create the image of a cup and saucer. I used a cup image from Waltzingmouse Stamps, and paper from Papermania.

I layered the cup onto a gold Cheery Lynn filigree heart, and a white Parisian Doily, also from Cheery Lynn.

I used some more gold paper as the mat, and a little panel under the cup and saucer. I added some White crochet lace, Natural Button Twine and Royal Blue Ric-Rac topped with a Gold Wired bow, all from The Ribbon Reel shop.

Do stop by the rest of the D.T for some more elegant inspiration!

SSCB #22 - Focus on Sentiment

Hi all, it's time for a new challenge over at Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog! This fortnight we would like to see you focus on sentiment - using your Serendipity Stamps of course!

I have made a Sympathy card using the lovely sentiment 'Angels..' using Wisteria Wonder ink and card - I thought the colour was suitably soothing.

I stamped the 'Feather Background' in Wisteria Wonder, and layered with some Spellbinders die cuts.
I added a small flourish with some white roses and tiny little lilac flowers, and some grey pearls to the corners.

This week's sale is 20% off the Words and Verse Category which runs until October 30th.

Morning (again!). I'm back with a card for the Bedtime Story sketch and the Art Deco challenge over at WMS Pajama Party!

 Here's the sketch:

And here's my Art Deco take on it:

I have used Wisteria Wonder ink and card, and stamped the background using the two little diamond designs from Art Deco Backgrounds.

The profile of the elegant lady is from Putting on the Ritz, as is the sentiment.

I finished off with some black striped ribbon, and some pearls.

WMS October Pajama Party

Happy Saturday all! I'm here today with a few cards for this month's Waltzingmouse Stamps Pajama Party.

If you are new to WMS, hop over to the blog at Waltzingmouse Makes, and check out the challenges!

Fist off I have made a couple of cards for the Greenish Halloweenish challenge.

For my first card I have used a pumpkin die from Serendipity Stamps layered onto a square spellbinders die cut.

I added a little Opera Tag with a sentiment from Cicely at Halloween, and added a greeting inside using the same set.

Next up I made a CAS card, nice and flat for posting!

This time I used images from Halloween Party and Midnight Feast. I stamped the images in Lucky Limeade and Tuxedo Black, and added a few green gems to the cauldron bubbles.

Well, there are my Halloween entries, now I've got another post to make for anther of the WMS challenges!

I would like to enter the Pumpkin die card and the Happy Halloween cards into this week's Tuesday Throwdown challenge, which is to use Pumpkins, and to Card Crafter's Circle, which has the theme Pumpkin Patch, and to CASology Challenge with the cue word Pumpkin!

Serendipity Stamps Owl Blog Hop!

Morning bloggers!   Today I am taking part in a Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop, and have a card featuring a new little addition to the Serendipity Stamps catalogue - a gorgeous owl die cut!

He cuts like an absolute dream, and I have used fairly thick card with him today, covered in gold glitter. Every little piece popped out without any problem.

I teamed him with some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye, layered with some cream crochet lace and faux silk green ribbon.

I added a little bow topped with a twine bow and gold sparklet.

Finally I added some copper pearly eyes, and a sentiment also from Serendipity Stamps.

Here is the order of the blog hop -

TRR #64 - Eerie Elegance

Hi all, I have a card today for the new challenge over at The Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog. This fortnight, Jeanne is our host with this fabulous inspiration picture:

So, using the colours in the picture, we would like to see you use some ribbon with an 'Eeerie elegance' theme!

I have used a sweet image by Waltzingmouse Stamps for my card, Cicely at Halloween, coloured with Promarkers.

I cut her out using Spellbinders, and layered onto a frame also cut using Spellbinders. Between the image and the frame I layered some Black Jute Mesh. from The Ribbon Reel shop.

On the card base I stamped some bats and Halloween lanterns also from WMS, using the Gracie At Halloween set.

I added a Lilac silk bow, wrapped with Purple Button Twine, also from TRR shop, then topped with a sparkly button from stash.

I would like to enter this into this week's Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge, which has a Halloween theme.
