Hello blogland, thought I'd join the fun again over at What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday. A shocking mess lol!
I was in the process of making a card for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge when I took this pic yesterday afternoon. So glad I took it then, as the light here is terrible today!
Here is a shot of my Ikea bookcase that usually holds my stash, and it really needs a good tidy up! The John Lewis bag on the floor has got some of my ribbon in it, as well as the little bag on the second shelf, something I need to sort out!
Here you can see my beloved Waltzingmouse stamps, glitter glue, and a paper bag!
Thanks for stopping by, I'd better get tidying lol!

WMSC #16
Hi bloggers, I've been very quiet of late, as my mojo has taken a bit of a dive, and it's taking me a long time to craft anything that doesn't end up in the bin!
The card I have today is for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, and this is my third attempt! I quite literally had no idea how this was going to turn out, but I finally finished it and it's ok I guess, still feeling a bit grumpy due to the ole mojo going walkies without asking me!!
Here is the sketch:
And here is my take:
I have used My Minds Eye backing papers called Oooh La La!, and some sage bazzill.
I stamped the little cups onto various DP, cut them out and made little slits in the tops of the cups so I could 'stack' them. I added two punched panels to frame and adhered to some pink bazzill. The tiny cups are stamped in Tuxedo Black.
The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Rich Cocoa, and I've used Afternoon Tea Sentiments, and Afternoon Tea stamp sets from WMS.
I've added a few roses and punched leaves to the top of the sentiment label, stamped with Labels No.4 and cut with Nestabilities No. 4.
Finally added a little teapot covered in stickles to the corner.
Thanks for looking, and have a great day,
Pauline xx

WOYWW #67
Hi bloggers, I am joining the fun on WOYWW today, I've always felt too ashamed of my mess to participate before now lol, but it's a bit tidier today than usual!
I don't have a dedicated craft space as such, I tend to use my dining room, then clear away everything for the weekend where we all eat together.
So, on first inspection, not looking too bad huh?
However, on even closer inspection, you can see I've had an issue with the old glitter going back into the glitter pot - you know, the one where the pot falls over, makes a huge mess, you walk out of the room etc etc!
So, here's a little proud mother moment - my 8 yr old has made a card for my best friend who is turning the big 4-0 on Sunday, and we are going to London to shop and see some sights, and take in a show, Wicked, which we are really looking forward to. I helped to cut the dies in my cuttlebug, and the glitter glue on the numbers, I hope she will like it.
To the bottom left is the card I am in the process of making, just got to wait for the glittered numbers on my craft mat to dry then I can assemble.
Thanks for dropping by, have a great day,
Pauline xx

WMSC #14
Hi all, I have a card today made with the WMS sketch challenge blog in mind, and I set to first thing this morning, seeing as how I left it too late for last weeks challenge, lessons learnt and all that!
Here is the sketch:
And here is my take, I've flipped it and the image is a slightly bigger dimension than in the sketch, but I hope it still qualifies as an entry!
I have used a Milton Christmas stamp by Wild Rose Studios, and layered him onto some coredinations and glitter paper. The bg paper is from a Christmas stack by Kars from last year, and the snowflakes are punched using a new Kars punch.
Milton and his little gift sledge are coloured with Promarkers, and I've added some glossy Accents to the snowflakes, and the ribbon on the pressies. If you look closely I've also given him a shiny nose!
The little tag is stamped using WMS Very Vintage Labels 5 in Versamagic Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue, and the sentiment is also by WMS Seasons of Love stamped in silver. I've threaded some coloured cord through the top of the tag, from the Kars christmas range.
The scalloped felt border on the bottom is also from the new Kars christmas range, and the gems on the snowflakes are from Papermania.
As well as the WMSC, I will also be entering the following challenges:
Cowgirls Sunday Stampen Challenge
Crafty Creations Challenge
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge
Well it's a beautiful day here in sunny Berkshire, and I'm off this afternoon to the Help for Heroes concert at Twickenham, can't wait, it's a good line up, and I'm finally going to see ROBBIE WILLIAMS!!!!
Thanks for looking and have a great day

Milton Christmas Card for a few Challenges!
Hi all, today I have a card which I had intended to enter into the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, but missed the deadline (grrr), so I thought I'd post it anyway and enter a few challenges.
Here is the sketch:
And here is my take:
Isn't he soooo cute! I picked him up last weekend at my local craft shop, where I had the privilege to meet his creator Dulcie Jackson from Wild Rose Studios.
The stripy and dotty bg paper is Milton & Co Christmas Paper Stack from Wild Rose Studio, layered onto some gorgeous plummy pink shiny Bazzill card.
I have used Nestabilities Labels 3 for the medallion, and Nestabilities Labels 4 for the tag, which had been stamped with Waltzingmouse's Very Vintage Labels 4, and the sentiment is from WMS Oven Fresh Gingerbread Joy set.
I love the non-traditional colours with this paper stack, so many possibilities!
Milton is coloured using Promarkers, and blinged up with lots of stickles!
Inside the card I have stamped a sentiment from Impressions Stamps, and the holly is from WMS Gingerbread Joy set.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Pile it On
Oh Alice!
Stamp Something
We are well and truly on the road to Christmas, but first we have Harvest Festival, Halloween and Bonfire Night to look forward to!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Promarker Challenge by Dulcie Jackson
Hi all, I'm back from my hols, and haven't done any crafting for weeks! Yesterday I hot-footed down to my local craft shop, Flutterby Crafts, where we had a special guest take the monthly Promarker Club - none other than Dulcie Jackson from Wild Rose Studio!
She very kindly demonstrated a few hints and tips for us new to Promarkers, and played along with some wonderful new Christmas stamps from her very popular design Milton Bear.
Dulcie also very kindly drew up a sketch for us to use as part of our Promarker monthly challenge!
So, without further ado, here is the Sketch by Dulcie:
And here is my take, using one of the fabulous new Milton Bear christmas stamps from Wild Rose Studio:
Isn't he sweet?! I haven't added a greeting, as I may use it for a winter birthday, Milton is holding an envelope with a little heart over the seal, so could be used for either birthday or christmas.
Apologies for the poor pics, the light here is dreadful today, rain, rain, and more rain!
The background snowflakes were stamped using Seasons of Love by Waltzingmouse Stamps, another very versatile set.
The image has been coloured with Promarkers, and cut using the largest die from Nestabilities Labels 3.
To add some bling and dimension, I added a mound of Glossy Accents to his hat trim, bobble and snowflakes, and topped with Glamour Dust. I then layered this onto a blue piece of Core'dinations cardstock, and hand cut around the edge of the biggest die from Labels 3.
Added some glitter paper strips to the stamped background paper and tied some white and blue ribbon around the bottom strip. Added some silver metal dots in the corner, and a white one to the button popped onto the bow. Finally added this panel to a white pearlescent card base.
I am entering this into the Passion for Promarkers Challenge, which is 'Teddy bears', and to the Crafty Catz Challenge, which is '3-2-1', 3 Embellishments, 2 Papers and 1 image. My embellishments are ribbon, button and metal dots, and papers are glitter paper and my stamped background.
I will also be entering it into the challenge at Flutterby Crafts, so will drop it into them on Tuesday, where they will pin it on a board along with all the other fab creations by the other ladies, and then the customers VOTE for the one they prefer!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
