Hi all, I have another card today for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, here is the sketch:

I have made an easel card using pale lilac pearlescent card and some pink and plum bazzill. Stamps used are all from WMS Victorian Frippery and Faux Fun Circles for the central panel.

The circle has been coloured with promarkers, as has the 'buttons' either side, and then have just picked out some areas to stickle.

The ribbon used is a lovely pinky colour from John Lewis haberdashery dept, expensive to get from there I know, but it was an impulse buy, and it's very pretty :-)

The edges were distressed with Antique linen Distress Ink, apart from the base (not sure if I should have done the base or not!).
This took me longer than anticipated, I was having a few issues with the Bow Easy, but I think it's the type of ribbon I used.
Finally I added some pearls by Kanban and breathed a sigh of relief. I like it, but I don't love it, not yet! I find vintage very difficult to do, but I think I'm getting there!
This will be my last entry to the WMSC for a couple of weeks as I'm off on holiday next week to Euro Disney and Switzerland, and we are driving all the way! Not looking forward to that bit, and I'm sure Disney won't be a patch on Florida, which we went to in October last year, but I am hoping for one thing and one thing only - some SUNSHINE!!!
I can honestly say I cannot remember such an overcast, gloomy, rainy, wet, school holidays, and it's getting to me!!! Even 2007 was better than this, and we had floods here in Thatcham!
Off to do some packing, thanks for looking and have a great day
Pauline xx
