Sketch Saturday: All the Flowers of Tomorrow..

Hi, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Today I have something new! This is my card for Sketch Saturday. week 92, and it's the first challenge that I have attempted.
I have used a new stamp from Mo Manning, and coloured the image with Promarkers. All new to me, but I am pleased with the outcome! Not sure about the grass though....

I love this little girl, she reminds me of my eldest daughter, dreamy and free spirited, well that's how she appears to me!
All the patterned paper is from a stack I bought last week, from a company called Wild Rose Studio. I have used the doily design a rose bud design, and a pink striped design from this pack, which also contains some great cake and teapot themes too. They also design some lovely clear stamps, and I bought one of those too, will make a card with it in the next few days.

Lots of layering on this card, but I think it works. The sentiment is one from the Earthangel set by WMS, " All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today" ; I just thought it matched the image and roses perfectly.

Inside I have used a couple of strips of paper which I've used on the front, but got kind of obscured; it's so pretty I had to use some more! Edged them with Martha Stewart lace doily punch. Sentiment inside the card is from Earthangel again, with the little 'xo' underneath from Say it With Style stamp set from WMS.

As I like a bit of bling, I gave her a little sparkly rhinestone necklace, and used a couple of gems on the bees. Added some pink stickles to the roses, and finally used some more pink rhinestones on the sentiment.

Thanks for looking, and have a great Sunday
Pauline xx

Is it an Angel?

Well, yes, it's another card using (dare I say it?) my favourite, the Earthangel stamp set from Waltzingmouse Stamps!! I will try to make something different in the next day or two lol!

I went to my local craft shop yesterday, and bought my first Letraset Promarkers, so I am going to experiment with them cos they scare me just a little bit! I have coloured angel with watercolour pencils, I love the texture they give to an image. I also lightly coloured the embossed edge of the sentiment label, and was really pleased with the outcome!

Inside the card I layered a couple of pieces of the DP, but it went a bit wonky oops!

Supplies used: Earthangel and Say it With Style by Waltzingmouse Stamps

Earthangel (again!)

Hi, today I have another card using the Earthangel stamp set from WMS, I love this set! The card base is pearlescent card from The Papermill Shop, papers from My Minds Eye Pretty Please, Jet black Stazon ink, nesties classic circles sml and labels 5; inside the card I have used some more dp with a Martha Stewart lattice edge punch, some tiny hearts from a mini heart punch, and finished her off with a rhinestone rope. Also added some teardrop shaped rhinestones to mirror the shapes in the background paper, but wish I hadn't! Finally I used a small corner chomper to pretty up the edges.

Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by,
Pauline xx

Earthangel

Hi, hope everyone had fun yesterday on the first Waltzingmouse Stamps blog hop? Wow, there are some really talented ladies out there, I loved seeing everyone's creations!

Today I have a card using my favourite stamp set, Earthangel, such a little cutie, you cannot fail to create some beautiful things with her! I cased the sketch from Julia Aston's birthday card for Claire, just left out the lace frill and used a different shaped nestie! Julia is such a talented crafter, love your blog!

Card base is made using pearlescent card from The Papermill Shop, Earthangel stamps from WMS, BG paper is from Nana's Nursery (boy) DCWV, dress and wings coloured using Faber Castell Water Colour Pencils, Nestabilities classic ovals sml, Stazon jet black ink, Memento Rich Cocoa ink, Nesties labels 4, vellum from stash, and Papermania rhinestones. The sentiment is stamped on some patterned paper I had from a pack, but don't know the make, sorry! And to finish her off I outlined her wings and the label in Stickles glitter glue in Grape Ice.

Thanks for looking
